Mr Bryan, Owner Mr. Bryan was destined to be the owner of a preschool, and he has been the owner/operator of The Goddard School located in Princeton for 15 years! His retail and customer service background, combined with a passionate love for children, made it a logical choice. Mr. Bryan has a proven track record of 20+ years successfully running small businesses prior to opening The Goddard School located in Princeton. Add in his experience raising his own two daughters, and it is easy to see why Mr. Bryan's school was named "Rookie School of the Year" in its first year of business, as well as being in Goddard Systems' "Circle of Excellence" almost every year since.

Mr. Bryan resides in Upper Freehold, NJ with his two children and a menagerie of animals including his African Grey Parrot named "Shades!" Mr. Bryan is very active in the Princeton community and has volunteered with the Upper Freehold Township Board of Education. Running The Goddard School located in Princeton is Mr. Bryan's full-time job and he is very proud of his School AND its teachers. Mr. Bryan looks forward to meeting you when you come for a visit!

Miss Raffaella, Director Miss Raffaella is the Director of our school. She attended Rowan University where she earned a degree in Child Psychology and a minor in Education. She always had a passion in working with children. Her past experiences include babysitting, student teaching, and a former Kindergarten teacher. In Miss Raffaella's spare time she enjoys binge watching her favorite TV show "Friends", spending time with family and friends, and visiting the shore. When asked why she enjoys working with children she shared, “I enjoy how curious they are to the world around them. They bring such joy and happiness to my day. Our job is to teach children but you'd be surprised how much children teach us."

Miss Donna, Assistant Director Miss Donna is an Assistant Director in Training at our school. She graduated with her Associates Degree in Psychology from Middlesex County College. She has been with the Goddard School for over 4 years. Miss Donna has served as a Lead Teacher in our preschool program. She is from New Brunswick, NJ and enjoys spending her free time shopping, reading, and hanging out with her friends. Miss Donna has been working with children of all ages for many years babysitting and in the school setting. When asked why she enjoys working with children, she said because “They make me happy and I love seeing their faces light up when I enter the room!” Miss Donna is so excited to learn something new from the children each and every day.

Miss Melissa, Assistant Director Miss Melissa is the Assistant Director of our school. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Centenary University. Miss Melissa has been with The Goddard School for 3 years. She has served as a Lead Teacher in both our toddler and preschool programs. Her passion for working with children began when she was working as a nanny and a paraprofessional aide in a preschool classroom. When asked why she enjoys working in early childhood she said because, “Everyday is always something new and exciting. There is no greater joy for me then to be in a field where I am providing children with a fun and safe learning environment!”

Miss Dorrit, Lead Teacher Miss Dorrit is the Lead Teacher of our Infant classroom and she has been working at the Goddard School for 15 years! Miss Dorrit attended Bethany College in West Virginia and completed her Child Development Associates Degree through Goddard University. Over the past 15 years, she has devoted hard work, love and compassion in nurturing all of the babies in her care. In her free time, Miss Dorrit enjoys listening to music, reading, entertaining and cooking for her friends and spending time with her nephew and two brothers. When asked why she enjoys working in early childhood she said, “there can never be enough people in their lives to love them, nurture them, listen to them and encourage their dreams.”

Miss Vanessa, Lead Teacher Miss Vanessa is the Lead Teacher of the First Steps classroom. She has been with the Goddard School for a little over a year, where she has worked in our Infant classroom. Miss Vanessa is from Brazil and obtains a degree in law. Her dedication and love for the children in her care is shown each and everyday in our Infant classroom. She is originally from Brazil and has two children of her own. In her spare time, Miss Vanessa enjoys traveling, spending quality time with her kids, and doing fun outside activities. When asked why she enjoys working with children she said, "they are so curious and love to learn. They are the best part of my day."

Miss Sarah, Lead Teacher Miss Sarah is the Lead Teacher of our Toddler classroom. She graduated from Wheelock College with a Bachelors Degree in Human Development and a concentration in Early
Childhood Education. Miss Sarah has been at the Goddard School for 12 years! Her passion and dedication for working in early childhood allowed her to receive her Masters Degree in Education while still working at our school. Her past experiences in working with children includes student teaching with four and five year olds as well as working as a Student Director Intern where she assisted in preparation for NAEYC accreditation. In her spare time, Miss Sarah enjoys reading, going to the beach, going to the movies, shopping with friends and taking her dog to the park. When asked why she enjoys working with in early childhood she said “it is amazing to watch them grow and develop. Also with a laugh or a hug, they make a bad day better!”

Miss Jennifer, Lead Teacher Miss Jennifer is the Lead Teacher of our Toddler classroom. She has been a part of the Goddard School for over 14 years! Miss Jennifer attended Middlesex County College where she studied Early Childhood Education. Miss Jennifer has an incredible amount of love and passion in working with younger children. Over the past 14 years, she has devoted her time into providing a fun and nurturing environment where children can grow into the little individuals they are meant to become. Miss Jennifer is a mom of two, who both attended as infants and graduated from the Goddard School. In her free time, Miss Jennifer likes to spend time with family. When asked why she enjoys working with in early childhood she said, “it is enjoyable to see how excited they get when they learn something new!”

Miss Colleen, Lead Teacher Miss Colleen is the Co-Lead Teacher of our Preschool classroom. She has been working at the Goddard School for over 5 years! She attended Middlessex County College where she obtained her Associates Degree in Applied Science, as well as being a certified Teacher Assistant. Miss Colleen is always finding new and innovative ways to engage the children to learn through fun and playful activities! Miss Colleen’s experience in working with children started when she was a teenager and has loved every moment of career since. In her free time, Miss Colleen enjoys to read, spend time with her son, family, and dog! When asked why she enjoys working in early childhood she said, “no two days are ever the same. Children can find wonder and joy in the most simple experiences or the most complex activities. You never know what adventure you will have on any given day!”

Miss Huma, Lead Teacher Miss Huma is the Lead Teacher of our Preschool classroom. She attended Bangalore University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Working at the Goddard School has been her first experience working with children and she loves every minute of it. In her spare time, Miss Huma loves to spend time with her family and friends, read, cook, and loves to travel. When asked why she enjoys working with young children she shared, "they always make me laugh and smile!"

Miss Gaella, Lead Teacher Miss Gaella is the Lead Teacher of our Preschool classroom. She has been working at the Goddard School for over 4 years! Miss Gaella is currently attending Bucks County Community College where she is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. The love and dedication she has in working in early childhood shines the minute you step into her classroom. Miss Gaella’s past experiences in working with children include teaching at her church's school, tutoring children, and babysitting. In her free time, Miss Gaella loves to go shopping, going out to eat at fancy restaurants, reading, and giving back to the community as much as she can. When asked why she enjoys working in early childhood she shared, “I love watching them grow and I love how eager they are to try new activities and learn new things!”

Miss Gina, Lead Teacher Miss Gina is the Lead Teacher of our Pre-K classroom and has been a part of the Goddard School for over 12 years! She holds an Associates Degree in Humanities and a Bachelors Degree in Education and English Literature from Rider University, as well as a K-5 Teaching Certificate from the State of New Jersey. Miss Gina is also our Quality Assurance Manager and oversees Goddard’s Quality Assurance Program that promotes the health & safety of the children. In her free time, Miss Gina loves to cook, watch movies and spend time with her husband and daughter, and friends. She enjoys working with young children because “They keep me young, energetic and are so eager to learn!”

Miss Caitlin, Lead Teacher Miss Caitlin is the Lead Teacher of our Pre-K 2 classroom. She attended Rutgers University where she earned a degree in Literature. Miss Caitlin joined the Goddard School with experience in working at another childcare center. She also spent 5 summers as a camp counselor, organizing fun and educational activities through S.T.E.A.M learning. Miss Caitlin is looking to continue her education in pursuing her CDA certification. In her spare time, Miss Caitlin loves to spend time with her family and enjoys reading books! When asked why she enjoys working in early childhood she said, "they are fun and see the world in their own way."

Miss Lela, Assistant Teacher Miss Lela is the Assistant Teacher in our Infant classroom. She is originally from Limerick, Ireland. She moved to the United States in 2017 and was an Au Pair for a family in New Jersey for three years. In her spare time, Miss Lela enjoys to travel and spend time with her husband and puppy. In addition to her Au Pair position, she has babysat for families back in Ireland while she was in high school. When asked why she enjoys working with children she said, "it is very rewarding watching children grow and learn each and every day!"

Miss Monica, Assistant Teacher Miss Monica is the Assistant Teacher in our Infant classroom. She is from Philadelphia, PA and holds a Cosmetology license. Her passion for working with children grew as a babysitter for her nephews and cousins! In her free time, Miss Monica enjoys spending time with her family and competing in a bowling league with her fiance! When asked why she enjoys working with children Miss Monica said, "I love watching them grow and discover the world around them!"

Miss Jemima, Assistant Teacher Miss Jemima is the Assistant Teacher of our First Steps classroom. She is a graduate of Cabrini University in Radnor, Pennsylvania where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. In her spare time, Miss Jemima loves to read, spend time with her friends and family and listen to music. She also enjoys photography and exploring the local parks. Her experience in working with children began as a summer camp counselor at the local YMCA as well as teaching Pre-K in an elementary school in Philadelphia. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Miss Jemima said, "it is the most rewarding job that I can think of; knowing that I can help a child reach their full potential brings a smile to my face!"

Miss Sarah, Assistant Teacher Miss Sarah is the Assistant Teacher in our First Steps classroom. She is originally from Marysville, PA. Miss Sarah holds an Associate's Degree in Psychology and an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. She enjoys sports including softball, tennis, and field hockey. Her favorite season is summer and loves outdoor activities! In the past, Miss Sarah was counselor for a summer camp and worked with children ages 5 and up. When asked why she enjoys working with children she said, "they are so much fun! Kids are so honest and innocent. I learn so much just from being around them!"

Miss Hailey, Assistant Teacher Miss Hailey is the Assistant Teacher of our Toddler I classroom. She is originally from Ewing, NJ but has also lived in Laguna Beach and Los Angeles, California. Her passion for working with children began as a babysitter for multiple families which led her to a local school before joining The Goddard School. Miss Hailey also volunteers at a local animal shelter and enjoys yoga. In her free time, Miss Hailey likes to spend time with her family, cook and watch scary movies! She's also a twin! When asked why she enjoys working with children, Miss Hailey said, "I love having the opportunity to watch them grow into their own, from their personalities to academic achievements, every day is full of potential!"

Miss Chelsea, Assistant Teacher Miss Chelsea is the Assistant Teacher of our Toddler classroom. She has been a part of the Goddard School for 7 years! Miss Chelsea attended the Bridge Academy and is a certified Medical Assistant. Her love of working with children has flourished while working at the Goddard School and becoming a mom to her daughter that also attends the Goddard School! In her spare time, Miss Chelsea enjoys spending time with her daughter, teaching dance, participating in fundraising walks for non-profit organizations and going to the beach. When asked why she enjoys working in early childhood she said, "I love that they are unpredictable and always make every day different and a lot of fun!"

Miss Sarah, Assistant Teacher Miss Sarah is the Assistant Teacher of our Get Set classroom. She graduated Rutgers University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Miss Sarah loves ballet and is a certified dance instructor. Her passion in working with children derived in her time of being a ballet instructor to children ages 2-14. In her spare time, she enjoys ballet, taking yoga classes, and listening to her favorite genres of music! When asked why she enjoys working with children, she said “I enjoy making a positive impact in their lives while helping them grow.”

Miss Claire, Assistant Teacher Miss Claire is the Assistant Teacher of our Preschool II classroom. Miss Claire earned her Child Development Association Credential and is also working towards completing her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She began her love of working with children through babysitting and teaching at other childcare facilities. In her spare time, Miss Claire enjoys exercising by running and attending yoga classes, spending time with friends and family, going to the beach and watching sports! When asked why she enjoys working with children, Miss Claire said "I love watching children grow and learn something new every day!"

Miss Hannah, Assistant Teacher Miss Hannah is the Assistant Teacher of our Preschool I classroom. She is a graduate of South Brunswick High School and is currently working towards her degree in Education to become a middle school teacher. In her free time, Miss Hannah enjoys spending time with her friends and family. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Miss Hannah said, "I love helping children learn and grow to reach their full potential!"

Miss Martina, Assistant Teacher Miss Martina is the Assistant Teacher in our Pre-K classrooms. Her excitement in working with young children began with her working at the Summer Camp Program in her hometown, Allentown, NJ. In her free time, you will find Martina at the beach and visiting some of her favorite NJ state parks. Martina has continued her education and is attending Mercer County Community College to earn a degree in Early Childhood Education. When asked why she enjoys working with young children she said, “ children have a way of always making me smile. When I look at them I see mini versions of us!”

Miss Usha, Assistant Teacher Miss Usha is the Assistant Teacher in our Pre-K classrooms. She is from Vdaipur, India where she earned her Master's Degree in Chemistry from Mohanlal Sukhadia University. Her love of working with children began while raising her own family and volunteering as a member of the PTA. In her free time, Miss Usha enjoys spending time with her family and going for walks through her neighborhood. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Miss Usha said, "not only am I teaching the children to learn, they teach me so much each and every day!"
