John, Owner John Ladman is a native New Yorker who graduated from New York University and received a Ph.D. from Indiana University. He is an emeritus professor of anatomy and neurobiology at the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University School of Medicine. John formerly chaired the Department of Anatomy at the University of New Mexico after teaching at the University of Tennessee and at Harvard Medical School. He is the proud grandfather of Lacey and Cody who live in Albuquerque.

Patricia, Owner Pat Bergbauer is a native Philadelphian - a graduate of St. Joseph's University (B.A.) and a graduate of Villanova University (M.A.). She was formerly a publishing /educational program director and editor for professional health-care/scientific associations. Pat waited four years to own a Goddard School. Through the entire process, Pat was most impressed with Goddard's emphasis on "children first," a developmentally appropriate curriculum, and Goddard's rigorous quality assurance program. Pat loves children, and enjoys spending her day surrounded by their spontaneity, curiosity and creativity. She tells friends that her favorite names are "Mom" and "Aunt Pat." Now "Miss Pat" is added to that list!

Melissa, Director Melissa Flowers is the Executive Director at the Goddard School in Blue Bell. Melissa has been a valued member of our program since April 2004. She is a graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She is currently seeking her Masters in Public Administration from Villanova University. Melissa has two boys, Jacob and Kevin, who have both graduated from Goddard. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys reading, watching Flyers hockey, and spending time with her family.

Sarah, Assistant Director Sarah S. is the Assistant Director at the school. Sarah has been a valued member of our program since January 2015. She received her Associate's degree in early childhood education from Montgomery County Community College and her Bachelor's degree from West Chester University. She is currently seeking her Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from West Chester University. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys reading, walking her dog, and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite children's story has always been "The Rainbow Fish" by Marcus Pfister.

Kim, Lead Teacher Kim W. is a Lead Teacher in our Infant classroom. She is recent graduate of West Chester University with a degree in Psychology and Women and Gender Studies. In her spare time, Kim enjoys reading books, writing stories, and listening to music. Her favorite children's story has always been "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein.

Maria, Lead Teacher Maria C. is the Head Teacher in our First Steps Classroom. Maria has been a valued member of our program since September 2016. She is currently attending Montgomery County Community College, seeking a degree in Human Services. In her spare time, Maria enjoys playing soccer, reading books and spending time with family. Her favorite children's story has always been "The Rainbow Fish" by Marcus Pfister.

Melissa, Lead Teacher Melissa C. is the Lead Teacher in our Get Set classroom. She has been a valued member of our program since August 2005. Melissa is currently attending college to receive her Bachelor's degree in early childhood education. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys crafting, baking and shopping. Marlee, Lead Teacher Marlee C. is one of the Lead Teachers in our Preschool classroom. She has been a valued member of our program since August 2003. Marlee is a graduate of the State University of New York College at Potsdam with a Bachelor's degree in elementary education. In her spare time, Marlee enjoys reading, exercise and scrapbooking. Her favorite children's story has always been "The Kissing Hand" by Audrey Wood.

Julia, Lead Teacher Julia C. is one of the Lead Teachers in our Preschool Classroom. She has been a valued member of our program since August 2015. Julia is a graduate of Chestnut Hill College, where she received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. In her spare time, Julia enjoys going out to dinner with friends, hiking and taking pictures. Her favorite children's story has always been "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seuss.

Agnes, Assistant Teacher Agnes F. is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant classroom. She has her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the Phillipines. She also has her Masters in Professional Communication from LaSalle University. In her spare time, Agnes enjoys arts and crafts, gardening and cooking. Molly, Assistant Teacher Molly D. is a Teacher's Aide in our Infant classroom. She is currently attending Montgomery County Community College seeking a degree in Early Childhood Education. In her spare time, Molly enjoys babysitting, watching movies with friends, and walking with her dog. Her favorite children's story has always been "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle.
