Assistant Teacher - Part Time

We are currently hiring afternoon assistants for classrooms for our infant, toddler and preschool classrooms. It is a 5 day a week position from approximately 3-6 PM and usually entails 15-20 working hours per week. It's an ideal position for a student pursuing a teacher degree or those looking to work part-time who enjoy the classroom environment. All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Overview

An assistant teacher at The Goddard School is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment. Additionally, an assistant teacher must work with a lead teacher and in conjunction with the entire faculty.

Lead Teacher - Full Time

We are currently hiring full time Lead Teachers for classrooms for our infant, toddler and preschool classrooms. It is a 5 day a week position with a 40 working hours per week. It's an ideal position for a teacher professional who is serious about teaching and working with young children. All applicants must be either certified teacher or have a 4-year or Associate Degree related to education, at least 1 year of Early Childhood experience, and must be 18 years of age or older.

Overview

A Lead Teacher at The Goddard School is responsible for creating lesson plan using NJS Early Learning Standards and appropriate developmental goals. Lead Teacher is also responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment. Additionally, a Lead Teacher must work with an assistant teacher and in conjunction with the entire faculty.
