Miss Kathy, Owner I started as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher at a Goddard School in 2000. My previous business experience prepared me for fulfilling my dream of becoming an owner of a Goddard School. I have seen firsthand the success of children's development academically, socially and emotionally. I am looking forward to becoming a part of the Clinton community.

Miss Amy, Director Amy joined our faculty in July 2016 and has been working in child care since 1999. Prior to joining our Clinton family Amy worked at another Goddard location as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher and Administrative Assistant since 2008. Amy has spent time teaching ages ranging from infants thru Pre-Kindergarten. She has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Raritan Valley Community College and a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University.

Miss Marissa , Assistant Director Marissa joined The Goddard School as the assistant director in July 2017. She has been working with children in both private and childcare settings since 2006. She has experience working with children up to 10 years old and taught preschool at another childcare center. Marissa earned her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Ashford University in 2016.

Miss Julie, Lead Teacher Julie is the lead teacher in the infant classroom. She has been working with children since 1999 ranging in age from infants through first grade. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Julie joined the Goddard team in 2013.

Miss Sarah , Lead Teacher Sarah is the Co-Lead Teacher in our toddler classroom and joined the Goddard school in 2017. She has been working with children ages ranging from toddlers to 6th grade, since 2007. Sarah has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and has a K-5 Teaching Certificate from the Post Baccalaureate Teacher Program at Kean University.

Miss Heather, Lead Teacher Heather is the Lead Teacher in the preschool class at the Goddard School and joined our team in 2015. She has experience working with children since 2013 of all age groups and is currently enrolled in the Preschool CDA program.

Miss Jamie, Lead Teacher Jamie is a Lead Teacher in the Preschool classroom and joined our Goddard team in 2014. Jamie has her Child Development Associates and has been working with children since 1999. Jamie has experience teaching children from infants through preschool.

Miss Dominique , Lead Teacher Dominique joined The Goddard School team in 2014 and has experience working with children of all ages in a childcare setting since 1998. Dominique is the Lead Teacher is our Pre-K classroom as well as working in the front office alongside administration. She received her Child Development Associate (CDA) for Preschool/Pre-K and uses her knowledge to assist with training opportunities and the daily run of her Pre-K classroom.

Miss Shannon , Lead Teacher Shannon is the Lead Teacher in the Pre-K room. She joined our faculty in December of 2016 and has been working with children since at least 2007. Shannon has experience working with children of all ages and was a middle school summer camp counselor, a substitute teacher in an elementary school, and a special education teacher before coming to The Goddard School. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Special Education from the University of Delaware.

Miss Mary Kate, Lead Teacher I am currently the Kindergarten Teacher at The Goddard School. I have been working with children since 2008. My degree is in Early Childhood and Special Education from Kean University. In my spare time I love to read, scrapbook and play with my Collie, Agnus. My favorite children's book is "Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom" by Bill Martin, Jr.

Miss Erica, Lead Teacher Erica joined our faculty in February 2016 and has been working in the child care field since 2008. Prior to joining our Clinton family she worked in a public school after care program as well as another child care setting as a lead teacher in both the infant and toddler classrooms. Over the years Erica has taken different classes to stay on top of the ever changing child care industry.

Miss Alyssa, Assistant Teacher Alyssa joined our faculty in November 2019, and has been working in childcare since 2014. Prior to joining our Clinton Family, Alyssa worked at another center as a Preschool and Pre-K teacher, and an assistant in aftercare programs. Alyssa has also spent time working with the Office of Residence Life at Montclair State University, working as an Office Assistant and Resident Assistant Coordinator from the years 2016-2018. Alyssa has spent time teaching and working with ages ranging from infant to college student levels. Alyssa is completing Bachelors Degree in English and certificate program of Child Advocacy at Montclair State University.

Miss Carlene, Assistant Teacher Carlene has been working at The Goddard School since our opening in 2013. She has been working with children ranging from infant through Pre-School for over 10 years. Since joining The Goddard School Carlene has been working as an Assistant Teacher and currently is in our First Steps classroom.

Miss Marissa, Assistant Teacher I am currently the Assistant teacher in the Little Lions classroom. I have been around children my whole life. I have one sister who I like to hang out with in my spare time. I also like to take pictures of things outdoors. My favorite children’s book series is "Winnie the Pooh".

Miss Brittany, Assistant Teacher Brittany is an Assistant Teacher in our toddler classroom and joined our Goddard Family in 2017. She has previous experience in child care and has been working closely with children since 2009. Brittany also attended Poly-tech for Early Childcare Development and through that has worked with multiple age groups, ranging from infants to 4 years old.

Miss Krista, Assistant Teacher Krista in the Lead Techer in First Steps classroom. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Thomas Edison State University and an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Sussex County Community College. Krista has been working with children since 2000 and has experience in ages three and under. Krista joined the Goddard team in September 2017.

Miss Emily, Assistant Teacher Emily has been working at The Goddard School since 2017. She started as an Assistant Teacher and worked her way into a Lead Teacher position in January 2019. Emily is currently working towards her CDA specializing in infant and toddler care.

Miss Kelly , Assistant Teacher Kelly is an Assistant Teacher in the Toddler class and joined our faculty in 2020. She has been working in child care since 2017. She has worked with children in pre-school and toddler classrooms. Kelly also studied Early Childhood Education at Penn State for 2 years and hopes to finish her degree in the future.

Miss Lauren, Assistant Teacher Lauren joined our Goddard family in September 2019 and has been working in child care since 2017. Prior to joining Goddard, she worked at another Early Learning Center as an Infant Room teacher. Lauren is currently working on her Child Development Associates in Infant and Toddlers and anticipates to be completed by Summer 2020. Lauren also went to Raritan Valley Community College for Paralegal from 2009 to 2013.

Miss Laura, Assistant Teacher Angie is a Co-Lead Teacher in the Toddler classroom. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education-English in 2017. Angie joined the Goddard School in September 2019 and has been working in schools since 2017. Angie has worked with children aging from Pre-K to 8th grade. Prior to joining the Goddard School, Angie worked as a substitute teacher at Clinton Public School for two years.

Miss Rebecca, Assistant Teacher Becky became a teacher at the Clinton Goddard School in 2017 and is currently our Co-Lead Get Set Teacher. Before that she worked at a Goddard in another location as a Preschool and Pre-K teacher and has been working in childcare since 2013. She has a Bachelors of Science in Human Ecology with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

Miss Amy , Assistant Teacher Amy is currently the Assistant Teacher in the Pre-k & Kindergarten classrooms. Amy is working on her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Raritan Valley Community College. Amy joined our Goddard School team in 2015, and has been working with children since 2008. Amy has spent time teaching ages ranging from toddlers through kindergarten.

Miss Kate, Assistant Teacher Kate has been working with children since 2014 and joined the Goddard team in 2019. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Human Movement with an emphasis in Adapted Physical Education from SUNY Cortland. She has experience working with children ages 1 to 17 years old.

Miss Erin, Assistant Teacher Erin is a Co-Lead Teacher in our Pre-k classroom. She received her Bachelors in Psychology in 2010 and a NJ Teaching Certificate for K-5 in 2016. Erin has been working with children since 2004, in a variety of age groups. Erin joined our Goddard Team in January 2020!

Miss Korina, Assistant Teacher Korina joined The Goddard School team in September 2018 and is currently working in the Pre- Kindergarten classroom! She is currently enrolled in the CDA program, specializing in Preschool and Pre- Kindergarten. Korina has been working with children in various age groups since 2014.

Miss Meghan, Assistant Teacher I love to read, cook and spend time with family. My favorite books are "Olivia" and "Lily and The Purple Plastic Purse". Meghan has been working with children since 2008 and has some credits toward her Childhood Developmental Associate Degree.

Miss Maureen, Resource I am currently the Administrative Assistant/Classroom Resource helper. I have an Associate's and Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University and my CDA from Montclair State. I have been working with children since 1995. My family consists of my husband and two sons. In my spare time, I love watching my boys play football! I enjoy walking as my form of exercise and running marathons! I also do a lot of reading and love to collect sea glass! My favorite children's book is "Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons!"
