Goddard Schools Give Back

Goddard Students Give to Families in Need Throughout Holiday Season

In December, The Goddard School located in Newtown, PA participates in the Adopt-A-Family project through the Bucks County Opportunity Council, where they collect items on a wish list for a local family going through a difficult time.

“Each item is placed on a gift tag and displayed creatively in our front exploration area,” said director Hillary Howell. “Families take a tag for an item they plan to purchase and the collection of items is then dropped off to the opportunity council. With the help of our generous families, were able to help a family of four last year and checked off each item on their list.”

According to Hillary, giving back helps students learn about the importance of lending a helping hand.
