Shannon, Owner Shannon is thrilled to be the on-site owner of The Goddard School of Castle Rock. She graduated from University of Denver with a double major in Spanish and Communications, and has a background working in marketing and business development. Shannon's passion for the education of young children was inspired by her two young daughters who are excited to join her at the school. Shannon feels proud to foster children's learning through The Goddard School framework which combines fun and education to create the most effective environment for developing a lifelong love of learning.

Amanda, Director Amanda is our Executive Director. She has her degree in Early Childhood Education from Central Michigan University. She has her Large Center Director License from Arapahoe Community College. She has been in the field of Early Childhood Education for 12 years. Amanda has served as a classroom teacher, Assistant Director, Large Center Director and Early Childhood Education trainer. Amanda also has her CPR/First Aid, Standard Precautions, Medication Administration, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Child Abuse and Neglect, and Train the Trainer Certifications.

Anna, Assistant Director Anna attended Illinois State University where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. She has experience teaching Pre-K and first grade. Anna has her CPR/First Aid, Standard Precautions, Medication Administration, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Child Abuse and Neglect certifications. She is thrilled to be part of the Goddard team and she looks forward to enriching the life of all the children at the Goddard School!

Sarah, Assistant Director Sarah graduated from Metropolitan State University in Denver with a Psychology major and a sociology minor. She was so excited when she heard her parents became owners at the Goddard School in Castle Rock as teaching at an early childhood center has always been her passion. She has experience as a lead teacher in the infant and toddler classrooms for the last 5 years. Sarah loves coming to work every day and seeing children learn about their world. This brings a smile to her face and joy to her heart. She is very thankful for the opportunity to work with your children. Lori, Lead Teacher Lori has been working in childcare since 2004. Lori is an infant supervisor and is a co-lead in our Infant room. She is married with five children of her own. Lori has her CPR/First Aid, Standard Precautions, Medication Administration, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Child Abuse and Neglect certifications.

Nicole , Lead Teacher This is Nicole, she is our Co-Lead teacher in Infant 1 classroom. She has worked in the Early Childhood Education field since 2006. She loves working with little children so much that she made it her career! She attended Red Rocks Community College in 2010 to obtain her ECE certification and furthered her education again in 2015 to complete her INS.In her spare time she likes to be outdoors with her boys especially when the weather is nice. They enjoy hiking, rock climbing, archery, camping, fishing and photography. She has two boys Hayden is 13 and Hudson is 9 years old. They like to go on little adventures to Sky Zone or do anything outdoors. Nicole is CPR and First Aid Certified. She am also certified in Prevention of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma, and Recognition and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect.

Hunter , Lead Teacher This is Hunter, she is our Infant 2 lead teacher. She has worked in a childcare setting for 3 years but has worked with children for 6 years. Hunter has also taken 9 months of CDA classes.
In her spare time she loves to garden and make things grow! She also loves to travel, read, and camp. She really enjoys spending her time outside!
She and her fiancé met freshman year of high school. They were best friends and then started dating. They have been together for three years now and have been engaged since Christmas of 2018.
Hunter is CPR and First Aid Certified. She is also certified in Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS), use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma, and Recognition and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect.

Ms Lexus , Lead Teacher This is Lexus Fleming. She is the lead teacher in Toddler 1. She began working in Early Childhood Education in 2016. She has taken several early childhood classes, and is working on enrolling in further classes in Colorado. Lexus wants to get her bachelor’s in early childhood education. She worked at a previous daycare in Wichita, Kansas for three years. She started when she was in high school and became a lead teacher there in 2018. Lexus then got her Directors License and became a Director at the beginning of 2019. Lexus moved to Colorado in August of 2019 to be close to her Family and boyfriend. She currently lives in Littleton with her dad, sister, and dogs. Lexus is CPR and AED Certified. She also has certifications in Safe Sleep, Shaken Baby/Head Trauma, Mandated Reporting, and Standard Precautions.

Katie , Lead Teacher Katie is going to school to get her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Katie has 7 siblings! She really enjoyed watching her younger siblings grow and fell in love with early childhood education. Katie is currently CPR/First Aid Certified. She also has her Standard Precautions, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Child Abuse and Neglect certifications.

Emily , Lead Teacher Emily is our Lead Preschool teacher! She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science and a minor in Endorsement Elementary Education. She is also licensed to teach K-5 and has a Director’s License for the State of Colorado for a Large Early Childhood Center and/or Administration in Early Childhood. Emily loves to read, especially poetry! She enjoys watching all sports, but her favorite is Soccer. Her favorite soccer team is Manchester United, and she likes to play soccer when she has time! She has an English Bulldog named Boomer that she loves spending time with! Emily is CPR and First Aid Certified. She is also certified in Prevention of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma, and Recognition and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect.

Jennie, Lead Teacher Jennie began working in Early Childhood Education in 1997 and is currently enrolled in classes to further her knowledge and to obtain her Directors certification. Jennie has her CPR/First Aid, Standard Precautions, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Child Abuse and Neglect certifications.

Sharon , Lead Teacher Sharon graduated with her Bachelors from University of Colorado Boulder in Speech Therapy and she is now pursuing her Elementary Teaching License online through Regis University.
In her free time when she is not here, you can find her doing schoolwork for her teaching license, Netflixing The Office or Gilmore Girls, being outdoors and hanging out with friends.
Her family consists of her parents, two younger siblings who are 17 and 19 years old, and a dog Ginger, who is a Bichon Frise Shitzu mix.
Sharon has her lead teacher certification through Community College of Denver. She also has her CPR/First Aid, Standard Precautions, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Child Abuse and Neglect certifications.

Sheryl , Lead Teacher Sheryl has been in education for 22 years. She began as a Teacher’s Aide, and then went on to Lead Teach Pre-K and Head Start for the last 15 years. She is a member of Texas Classroom Teachers Associates (TCTA) and Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA). Sheryl is certified to teach ages 0-8 in Colorado, Pre-K to Grade 4 in Texas, as well as her principal certification (in Texas). Sheryl has her CPR/First Aid, Standard Precautions, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Child Abuse and Neglect certifications.

Donna, Lead Teacher Donna has an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Suffolk County Community College, a Child Day Care Diploma from International Correspondence School, and a Director Certificate for Large Preschool Learning Center from University of the Rockies. Donna has experience teaching children infants through pre-k, she has been an Assistant Director of a center, a nanny, and has even owned and operated her own child care center. She is up to date on all Colorado required training such as Child Abuse and Neglect: Identification and Prevention, Standard Precautions, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma, etc. Donna has also taken a variety of early childhood education classes, such as Curriculum Development, Developmentally Appropriate Practices, and Working with Infants and Toddlers: Developmental Issues/Community Resources.

Tarynn, Assistant Teacher Tarynn studied Human Development and Family Sciences, Psychology and she also has a minor in Disability Studies.
In her spare time her interests include hanging out with her family. She also enjoys doing DIY crafts as well as photography. She has a large family that includes many dogs!
In addition to CPR and First Aid, she is also certified in prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS), use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma, and Recognition and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect. She is also has Advocate training for Domestic Violence and Child Abuse.

Gabriella, Assistant Teacher This is Gabby's first job working with kids, however she has a huge family and being the oldest, she babysat a lot! Gabby is CPR/First Aid and Standard Precautions certified. She is also certified in Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect.

Megan , Assistant Teacher Megan has been babysitting/nannying for about 5 years for several families. She also worked at an in-home daycare in Billings, Montana. Just before working here, Megan was at another Early Childhood Learning Center, where she worked with all ages but was primarily with infants.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her friends and family. Some things she loves doing with them include riding horses, fishing, hiking, camping or pretty much anything outdoors!

Devin , Assistant Teacher Devin has worked in a daycare setting for three years now. She has also worked as a teacher aid and has been a lead teacher in a Special Education program while living in Arizona.
She recently moved to Parker, CO so in her free time she enjoys exploring all the wonderful things her new home has to offer. Aside from exploring her new city she enjoys going to the movies, doing crafts, playing the Simms and of course playing with her animals.
Her boyfriend, Matthew, of nine years and her have a wonderful five-year-old son named Nathan. They also have a beautiful German Shepperd named Lucy, an orange cat, Charlie, and an orange and white cat, Ginny who has a backwards leg.
Devin is certified in CPR and First Aid, she is also certified in prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS), use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma, and Recognition and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect. In addition to I she is also certified in Crisis Intervention and has finger-print clearance in Arizona and Colorado.

Katelin , Assistant Teacher Kat is our Preschool Assistant Teacher. She attended Arapahoe Community College for General Studies. She is certified in CPR/First Aid, Standard Precautions, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect.

Morgan , Assistant Teacher Morgan attended the University of Northern Colorado and then moved down here to Castle Rock. She has been in Child Care for about six years now! She has her CPR/First Aid, Standard Precautions, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Child Abuse and Neglect certifications. Morgan also has a passion for CrossFit and has a license to teach CrossFit Kids as well!

Miriam , Assistant Teacher Miriam has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. She also studied commercial photography after college at the Creative Circus in Atlanta GA.
Miriam enjoys hiking with her family and has learned how to ski recently. She loves traveling, yoga and she is bilingual.
Miriam's husband is an attorney and he’s an avid skier. She have two children named Raquel and Rex. They are both fantastic skiers and they play piano. Miriam has two dogs named Frank and Nina.

Dylan , Resource Dylan went to Nursing school and was formerly a medical assistant at a pediatrics office for 3 years. She took an early childhood development class in college. Dylan graduated with her associate’s degree in Arts.
In her spare time, I love to hike, watch football and craft!
Dylan is getting married in September 2020. She has a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, named Bodie. She just moved to Colorado from Indiana, but she was born in Colorado.

Nicole, Resource Previous to working at Goddard, Nicole ran an In-Home Daycare for five years. She loved staying home with her kids while caring for the children who attended her day care. Her children are older now, and is ready to further her education in Early Childhood. Nicole has her CPR/First Aid, Standard Precautions, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Child Abuse and Neglect certifications.

Rachael , Resource This is Rachael! She is our Toddler Resource teacher. She is CPR and First Aid certified. She is also certified in Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect. Rachael is ASL proficient and fluent in intermediate Spanish. In her spare time, she loves to play and share experiences with her children. She has three children that are all girls, Merci (13), Lily (8), and Dani (2), and a boyfriend that she have been with for four years. She also has two dogs! Rachael enjoys hiking, rafting, traveling and playing video games. Colorado is the perfect state for her family because they love being outdoors! She loves watching children learn from their environment and looks forward to making a difference!
