Shannon, Owner Shannon is thrilled to be the on-site owner of The Goddard School of Castle Rock. She graduated from University of Denver with a double major in Spanish and Communications, and has a background working in marketing and business development. Shannon's passion for the education of young children was inspired by her two young daughters who are so lucky to be enrolled at the school. Shannon feels proud to foster children's learning through The Goddard School framework which combines fun and education to create the most effective environment for developing a lifelong love of learning.

Amanda, Director Amanda is our Executive Director. She has her degree in Early Childhood Education from Central Michigan University. She has her Large Center Director License from Arapahoe Community College. She has been in the field of Early Childhood Education for 15 years. Amanda has served as a classroom teacher, Assistant Director, Large Center Director and Early Childhood Education trainer. Amanda also has her CPR/First Aid, Standard Precautions, Medication Administration, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Child Abuse and Neglect, and Train the Trainer Certifications.

Amanda

Anna, Assistant Director Anna attended Illinois State University where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. She has experience teaching Pre-K and first grade. Anna has her CPR/First Aid, Standard Precautions, Medication Administration, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Child Abuse and Neglect certifications. She is thrilled to be part of the Goddard team and she looks forward to enriching the life of all the children at the Goddard School!

Anna

Donna, Assistant Director Donna has an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Suffolk County Community College, a Child Day Care Diploma from International Correspondence School, and a Director Certificate for Large Preschool Learning Center from University of the Rockies. Donna has experience teaching children infants through pre-k, she has been an Assistant Director of a center, a nanny, and has even owned and operated her own child care center. She is up to date on all Colorado required training such as Child Abuse and Neglect: Identification and Prevention, Standard Precautions, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma, etc. Donna has also taken a variety of early childhood education classes, such as Curriculum Development, Developmentally Appropriate Practices, and Working with Infants and Toddlers: Developmental Issues/Community Resources.

Donna

Jennifer , Assistant Director Jennifer is our Assistant Director, Director of Education at the Goddard School, Castle Rock. She is passionate about Early Childhood Education and has worked in the field since 2008. Jennifer has her Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood-Elementary Education as well as her Colorado and Texas state teaching license. After graduating, Jennifer moved to Ghana, West Africa and taught 2nd grade at an International School for 4 years. When she moved back home to the great state of Colorado, she taught Pre-Kindergarten for 2 years and then Kindergarten for 4 years at the same school. She most recently worked with children with severe special needs in the public sector and now is with us at the Goddard School and excited to get back into Early Childhood Education. In her free time, she loves to travel, have game nights, watch the Broncos, enjoy Colorado’s beauty and spend time with her family and friends. Jennifer's family is the best part of her, she has a wonderful husband, Eric, and two daughters, Kenley and Kaydence. Pizza/movie nights and dance parties are their jam! She has trained and has certificates in prevention of shaken baby syndrome and abusive head trauma, sudden infant death syndrome and safe sleep practices, recognition and recording child abuse and neglect, medication administration, preschool immunizations, standard precautions, CPR and first aid.

Jenna , Lead Teacher This is Jenna and she is so excited to work with Infants at the Goddard School in Castle Rock. She has worked with both Infants and Toddlers in the past and has 2 children of her own, her son, Martin who is 3 and her daughter Toryana who is 11. Jenna spends most of her free time doing hobbies like reading, writing and cooking. She speaks a little German too! Jenna is certified in EQUIT, CPR/Frist Aid, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect. She is also our qualified Infant Nursery Supervisor.

Maegan , Lead Teacher This is Maegan! She is a Lead Teacher in our Infant 1 class. Maegan has her Bachelor's of Science in recreation and sport management and athletic training. She has taught private school for 1 year and has her lead teacher certification. She loves to teach children and believes that children learn best through play! Maegan is so happy to be able to experience that every day! She loves to hike with her two dogs, Aspen and Maverick. During Maegan's spare time she also likes to do puzzles and travel. She grew up in Washington and moved to Colorado about two years ago! Maegan is CPR and First Aid certified. She is also certified in Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect. She is also qualified as a lead teacher.

Maegan

Lindsi, Lead Teacher Lindsi comes to us with 10 years experience in Early Childhood Education. She is Infant Nursery Supervisor qualified and originally from Illinois. Lindsi moved to beautiful Colorado in 2016 but still loves to follow Chicago sports teams, the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears! In her spare time, she loves to hike and walk her dog. Lindsi loves living in Colorado because there is so much to explore and see! She also loves traveling to Tennessee to visit her significant other and enjoys watching movies and reading when she has the time. Lindsi has two awesome children, Anthony is 12 and in middle school, Violet is 7 and in second grade. Anthony loves baseball and Violet loves to dance. She loves watching her children participate in their passions. Lindsi is a lead certified teacher and also certified in CPR/First Aid, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect.

Lily, Lead Teacher This is Lily! Lily is one of our Toddler 1 teachers! She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a minor in Spanish. Lily received her degree from Colorado State University. She has worked with several different age groups and loves them all! Lily loves reading during her spare time! She also likes to spend time hiking and spending time outdoors. Lily really enjoys working on embroidery as well! Lily is the only member of her family that works in education. She has a younger brother, who is currently working on his aviation degree. Lily's mom and dad both work in the airline industry. She is CPR and First Aid Certified. Lily is also certified in Prevention of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma, and Recognition and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect. Lily also obtains her lead teacher certification.

Rachael , Lead Teacher This is Rachael! She completed her Child Development Associates and is now a certified Lead Teacher! Rachael is one of our Toddler 1 Lead teachers. She is CPR and First Aid certified. She is also certified in Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect. Rachael is ASL proficient and fluent in intermediate Spanish. In her spare time, she loves to play and share experiences with her children. She has three children that are all girls, Merci (13), Lily (8), and Dani (2), and a boyfriend that she has been with for four years. She also has two dogs! Rachael enjoys hiking, rafting, traveling and playing video games. Colorado is the perfect state for her family because they love being outdoors! She loves watching children learn from their environment and looks forward to making a difference!

Stacy, Lead Teacher Ms. Stacy couldn’t be more excited to be part of the Goddard family. She has been working in this field for 16 years and absolutely loves working with children. Stacy started out as a Teacher’s Aide for a Kinder classroom at an elementary school and discovered how much she loved working with children. From there she went to work for another child care facility, and has had the opportunity to work with every age group. Stacy is passionate about being highly educated in the field, and was recently able to get her certification as a Director. Stacy is married and has three children: a son who is 14, a daughter who is 12, and another daughter who is 9. They moved to Colorado four years ago and she doesn't see them ever leaving! She loves doing outdoor activities such as camping, riding four wheelers/dirt bikes and fishing. Stacy is certified in Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect. She is CPR/First Aid Certified and also has an Expanding Quality in Infant Toddler Care (EQIT) certification.

Katelin , Lead Teacher Kat is our Preschool Lead Teacher. She earned her CDA (Child Development Associate) and was excited to move into the lead teacher role. She attended Arapahoe Community College for General Studies. Kat loves to kayak and hike with her dog, Tyson. She loves to travel and play the piano in her free time. She is certified in CPR/First Aid, Standard Precautions, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect.

Sheryl , Lead Teacher Sheryl has been in education for 22 years. She has a Masters in Educational Leadership. Sheryl began as a Teacher’s Aide, and then went on to Lead Teach Pre-K and Head Start for the last 15 years. She is a member of Texas Classroom Teachers Associates (TCTA) and Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA). Sheryl is certified to teach ages 0-8 in Colorado, Pre-K to Grade 4 in Texas, as well as her principal certification (in Texas). Sheryl has her CPR/First Aid, Standard Precautions, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Child Abuse and Neglect certifications.

Vickie , Lead Teacher Vickie is one of our K-Prep Blue Lead Teachers. She has her CDA and has worked in Early Childhood Education for 30 years. Her passion is ROCKIES BASEBALL. Purple is her signature color and anything having to do with the Colorado Rockies and Dinger makes her happy. Vickie also works part time with the Colorado Rockies during their season as an usher. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. Her husband, Wayne, their dog Roxy and her oldest daughter, Tori and her family live here in Colorado and her youngest daughter, Jessica lives in Maine. She is a grandma of two little boys, Kayden and Lathyn and they keep her busy when she is not at work. Being a grandma is her favorite. Vickie is CPR and First Aid Certified. She is also certified in Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS), use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma, and Recognition and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect.

Chrissi, Lead Teacher Ms. Chrissi has been working in the Childcare/Preschool field for 38 years. She holds an Associates Degree in Early Childhood, and also a Directors certificate from the state of Colorado. Chrissi cannot wait to meet you and your children. Even though she has her directors license, her heart has always been in the classroom working with children. She is certified in CPR/First Aid, Standard Precautions, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Child Abuse and Neglect.

Tiffany , Lead Teacher This is Tiffany! She has her early childhood certification and has been working with children ages birth-3rd grade for 5+ years. Tiffany is currently continuing her education in Early Childhood Development through Ashford University. During Tiffany's spare time, she loves spending time outdoors, especially hiking! She enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoys drawing, and all types of arts and crafts! Tiffany has two amazing kiddos that she loves! She has been with her husband for 17 years, but have been married for over 10 ! They have a 14-year-old boy, a 9-year-old girl, and two fur babies at home (dogs)! Tiffany is certified in CPR/First Aid, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect. She is also certified in Early Childhood Education and certified behavior technician.

Ms Katherine , Assistant Teacher Ms. Katie is our Assistant Teacher in the Infant 2 Classroom! Ms. Katie comes to us with a longstanding love for teaching young children. She realized this passion early on, volunteering as a Sunday School teacher, and teaching swim lessons as early as her high school years! She has grown in her career teaching children in early childhood education, and even applied for and won a scholarship to pay for her certification as a Lead Teacher in the State of Colorado! In her spare time she loves anything related to art, including visiting museums, galleries, and art shows, as well as getting into the great outdoors for camping, hiking, paddle boarding, swimming, and skate boarding. Katie is married to the love of her life Jeff, and they have 3 fur babies named Jasmine, Izzy, and Sid.

Gabriella, Assistant Teacher Gabby has been with The Goddard School of Castle Rock for 2 years, and is a valued member of our teaching team! Gabby loves working with our littlest learners and is currently completing course work to receive her CDA (child development associate certificate). Christina , Assistant Teacher Tina is the Assistant Teacher in our Toddler 2 classroom. She worked as a Para for a private school in Denver and more recently worked in school security. Tina is excited about the opportunity to grow her education in the Early Childhood Education field. During Tina's spare time, she enjoys painting, going on hikes, gardening and participating in activities with her church and community. She has three grown children, Katie who is 24, Dylan who is 21 and Allison who is 18. Her husband, Robert and mom, Karen all live here in Castle Rock too. Allison , Assistant Teacher This is Alli. She has been working with children for over a year now. Alli graduated from Douglas County High School and intends on going to ACC and Metropolitan State in Denver to study Fine Arts and Education to eventually be a professor. In Alli's free time, she enjoys painting, relaxing with her friends and learning new things! She is currently focusing on learning French and working on her artistic abilities. Alli has a beautiful mom and a hard-working stepdad. She also has a beautiful older sister and a goofy older brother. She loves them so much and enjoys family time. Tyana, Assistant Teacher This is Tyana! She has a B.A. in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from MSU Denver, and a minor in Psychology. In high school Tyana volunteered to help special needs students in gym, choir, and during Special Olympics. Tyana is also a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. She is so excited to work with children at the Goddard School! In her spare time, she enjoys camping, hiking, and kayaking. Tyana also loves to travel! Her favorite places to visit are the Soso Village in Fiji and Tongariro National Park in New Zealand. Tyana is currently engaged to her high school sweetheart. They have been together for eight years and will be getting married this spring in Mexico. Together, they have a dog named Sophie; she's a very hyper and adventurous pup! Tyana is certified in Prevention of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and Use of Safe Sleep Practices, Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma and Recognition and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect. Ashley , Resource Ashley is our Infant Resource Teacher and she is so excited about her new career at the Goddard School in Castle Rock. This is a complete career change for her. Ashley previously worked in the accounting field but has always been inspired by children which has led her to where she is now. Her and her family recently moved to Colorado from Louisiana and her husband and brother in-law opened a food truck here in Castle Rock! In her spare time, Ashley loves to craft, spend time with her family, watch her boys play baseball and have special girls days with her daughter. Cheering on the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers are a huge part of her fall and winter! She and her husband have been married for 7 years and we have 3 children. Zane (13), Addison (10) and Baylen (8). They are enjoying their new life in Colorado and love all the things that Colorado has to offer! Charlotte , Resource Charlotte has a B.A. from CU where she majored in Economics and minored in Education. She was able to student teach during college and she says that it was a great experience for her! Charlotte is currently back in school to get her paralegal certification. Recently she has really enjoyed woodworking and refurbishing furniture. Charlotte also enjoys cooking and camping. Her dog Max is her life. He is right by her side every second she is home! She also has a fantastic mom and brother who she enjoys spending time with. Nicole, Resource Previous to working at Goddard, Nicole ran an In-Home Daycare for five years. She loved staying home with her kids while caring for the children who attended her day care. Her children are older now, and is ready to further her education in Early Childhood.
