Our teachers blend the highest standards in early childhood development with nurturing care.

Mr Umer, Owner Having started from humble beginnings, I believe in the philosophy of doing one’s best at what they love.

“It’s my mission, as owner of The Goddard School, to help children grow and develop their educational skills to prepare them for the challenges of school and beyond.”

As a father of three girls, I saw there was a need for a high-quality early childhood education program that provides a play-based learning experience in a nurturing environment.

“Heartland is an amazing place to live and raise a family. We’re honored to offer an experience that helps shape the lives of so many children in this community.

Desiree, Director I have been in the Early Childhood Education field for 12 years earning my Child Development Associates my first year of teaching in 2012, and later my BA in Business Administration from Texas A&M Commerce. Being the oldest of 12 grandchildren the gift of sharing knowledge in a fun creative way has been instilled in me from early on. I have an eternal love for children and their unique personalities, smiles, challenges and success achieved throughout their learning experience! I moved to the Dallas area 5 years ago from my hometown of College Station Tx. and most recently married my partner of 7 years during the pandemic with my 2 favorite fur babies Beau (4 yr old yorkie) and Bailee (1 yr old toy yorkie). This coming fall I will begin the Master's program at Tamu Commerce in efforts to grow my knowledge towards the Business field. I am excited to be a part of the Goddard Family in Forney and cannot wait to share all the joy of learning with laughter and love!

Kamryn, Director Hello! My name is Kamryn and I am so excited to be a part of the Goddard family!

I was raised in Crandall and currently reside there with my two fur babies, Otis and Stella and my Fiancé. I mostly enjoy spending time with friends and family.

I have been in the early childcare field for 7 years, 4 of those years as a Director. I am confident my knowledge of early childhood education has equipped me with the foundation I need to ensure your child has the highest level of care and development. I have a love and passion for working with children and look forward to impacting the lives of the families in this community.

I am thrilled to be a Director here at the Goddard School and am eager to lead this school in a great direction.

Ms Miranda , Lead Teacher Hello, I’m Miss Miranda!

I’m extremely happy to be a part of Goddard School of Forney, I have had the joy to watch little ones grow for 5 years now. From infants to schoolers, I love seeing their ability to learn change and excel. My love for kids started while I was in FCA and was giving the opportunity to shadow and help a teacher at a local elementary school. I also have one of my very own! She’s a spunky 3 year old and her name is Arianna.

Being in childcare has taught me so much about patience and trust by kids and their families. You want a parent to have faith that their baby is being taken care of.
Being born and raised in Dallas makes me, by default, a huge Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks and Texas Rangers fan. I love everything Texas! (except Houston, of course.) Buccees is paradise, Big Red is great, and I’m so blessed to be here with my new extended family!

Ms Samantha, Lead Teacher
Classroom Name: Under the Sea.

My job as a teacher for infants is to provide a comforting and loving environment. The classroom is set up to meet the children’s needs, to further their skills. My job as a teacher is to help children learn and allow them to be their own artist and use the world as their canvas.

I’m looking forward to having many kids in our classroom.
I grew up in Pennsylvania, where I developed my love for child care and education. I graduated from Delaware Valley High School in PA. I am now wanting to complete my CDA.
I’ve taught children from the ages of infant through to school age. I love teaching infants because it gives me the chance to watch them make that first big step in their lives! I am looking forward to working with your child at the Goddard School and to further not only my experience but my education in childcare.
My favorite book genre is children's literature. My favorite book is called Around Town.

Ms Amber, Lead Teacher Classroom Name: Under the sea

I enjoy reading, writing, and broadening my perspective. My interests are health and nutrition, the beauty industry, and childcare. I have worked in childcare since 2013. Throughout the years, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of children, from infants to mentoring 17-year-old girls at my church.

Working with children and young adults has taught me so much about patience, resilience, and love. I also volunteer with Dallas CASA, which is a court appointed special advocate. I advocate for children who are removed from their homes and placed in foster care and I help assist with providing them with the best solutions and interests of the child. My hope and desire as a teacher at the Goddard School is to provide your children with love, comfort, security, and personal development. I believe in encouraging children to be independent.

I want to use every opportunity to help your children grow and explore by using communication and redirection to set a life changing foundation, even at a young age. I’m looking forward to meeting you, I can’t wait to learn about you and your family.
