Ellen and Virginia, Owners Ellen became the Owner of The Goddard School in Vernon Hills in December 2009. She is the proud parent of four children and recognizes the importance of providing a safe and nurturing learning environment for children. She believes in open and honest communication with parents to build an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect. Ms. Jenna studied Psychology and Early Childhood Education and earned her director qualification through the College of Lake County.

Ms. Jenna joined our team in July 2010 and has been working in Early Childhood for over 14 years.

Ms. Jenna loves incorporating music and playing guitar in the classroom. She also enjoys hands-on science experiments and giving the children their own tools to explore with.

When she is not working, Ms. Jenna enjoys playing guitar, writing songs, being creative, going to Target and Hobby Lobby, and spending time with her family.

Kirsten, Assistant Director Educational Background:
Ms. Kirsten earned her Bachelor of Science in Sociology from U.W. Parkside and is currently earning her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Leadership from Rasmussen
College.

Ms. Kirsten joined our team in May 2018 and has been working in Early Childhood for over 31 years.

Ms. Alison earned her Bachelors Degree in Speech and Hearing Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champain. She is working towards becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist.
