Amal & Reem, Owners Amal Akrawi is an on-site co-owner at the Goddard School in Wayland. Amal holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. Amal has three grown children who are married. She also has three grandchildren who all attend the Goddard School. Amal's late husband, Janan Akrawi, helped with the establishment of the Goddard School in Wayland and from the start, they made a commitment to ensure that their family values became the foundation of the school.

Amal is committed to making sure that every parent and child that walks through the doors is coming ‘home’ to their Goddard family while getting the benefits of a solid curriculum, in a safe, happy, and healthy environment.


Reem is an on-site co-owner. She and her husband Faris Hassani are proud parents of two children. Reem earned her degree in English literature. Faris earned his degree in Civil Engineering. They are both happy to be a part of The Goddard School, and they take the responsibility of providing the best care and the best educational experiences for the young learners attending their school.

Kim & Jan, Director Kim is a Co-Director. She lives in Natick, with her husband, Anthony, and her two children; Joey and Madison. One of her favorite things to do is travel and she loves sharing her experiences with children. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Early Childhood Development from Pine Manor College. She had been working with children for over fifteen years, and is very excited to grow with you and your children!


Jan is our Program Director. She began her journey in Early Childhood Education in New York. She has worked with children for the last 20 years. She attended The State University of New York at Oswego where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education. She earned her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education at Fordham University, located at Lincoln Center in New York City. While living in Manhattan, she had the pleasure of teaching in some of the most wonderful and prestigious private schools. After she moved to New England, she entered the administration field of education while at a private program in Framingham. In addition to being a certified Teacher and Director through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, she is also a licensed Elementary Public School Teacher in both New York and Massachusetts. She has been happily married since 2004 and has a step-daughter. In July of 2006 her son was born. She is happy and proud to be a part of the Goddard family and hopes you will be too.

Miss Cinzia, Assistant Director Cinzia is the Assistant Director. She graduated from Framingham State University with a degree in Developmental Psychology. Cinzia loves working with children and enjoys helping them learn and discover new concepts every day. She is excited to be a part of the family at The Goddard School located in Wayland and getting to know you and your children.

Miss Crystina, Lead Teacher Miss Crystina (Tina) is a teacher in our program. She graduated from Regis College with a BA in English and Early Childhood Education. She is originally from Texas but fell in love with the New England area during college and decided to stay! Her experience includes working with children of various ages. She taught volleyball to children from 3 to 12 years of age and has much experience babysitting. She has worked with infants through middle school aged children. Her hobbies include volleyball, hiking, yoga, and photography! She enjoys being active and traveling as well as watching movies, shopping and playing with her cat, Romeo. She is looking forward to getting to know the families and children here at the Goddard School and helping the infants in her care meet all their developmental milestones in a loving and supportive environment!

Miss Crystina

Miss Kerry, Lead Teacher Kerry is a Teacher here at The Goddard School. She graduated from Worcester State University with a BA in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. She has lived in Framingham her whole life and is thrilled to be teaching in the area! Her hobbies include vacationing with her family and traveling with family and friends! She has always loved working with children and has many years of experience teaching in Preschool aged classrooms. She enjoys the creativity involved, as well as how rewarding it is to positively influence young lives. She is looking forward to getting to know the families and children at the Goddard School.

Miss Ryan, Lead Teacher Miss Ryan is a teacher at our program. She attended Westfield State to study education and is an EEC certified infant toddler teacher. To Ryan working with children means educating, nurturing, guiding development, and making sure that your child feels cared for and encouraged to grow and learn in an environment where they feel comfortable and safe.

Miss Sabrina, Lead Teacher Miss Sabrina is an assistant teacher here at The Goddard School. She has a strong passion for reading, animals, Harry Potter, and spending time with her family. She was born in New York but spent a lot of her childhood down south. Moving around the east coast has given her a deep-rooted love for traveling and the ability to be open and welcoming, two qualities that she finds very helpful when working with children. Working with children is such an amazing experience. She enjoys coming into work and having a different adventure every day. Being able to help children use positive and creative thinking to understand their surroundings and discover more about the world is one of her favorite parts of this job. She feels that each child learns just as much from her as she does from them. Making an impact on these children, big or small, is what brightens her day and what she hopes to achieve.

Miss Katie, Lead Teacher Miss Katie is a teacher in our program. She has been teaching for many, many years and loves children. She has an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is currently working towards her Bachelor’s Degree. She has been around children most of her life, babysitting and growing up with her younger cousins. She has taught multiple ages from infants to kindergarten. She also has experience working with special needs children. She is excited to be part of the Goddard School!

Ms Ella, Lead Teacher Miss Ella is a Teacher in our program. She is originally from Iran and moved to the U.S. over ten years ago with her husband. She is a mother of twin boys, Arteen and Radeen. She graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and is currently taking courses toward her Master's degree in Education. She has experience working with children, teaching them and watching them flourish, grow and learn new skills and concepts. She is excited to be working here at the Goddard School.

Ms Jennifer , Lead Teacher Ms. Jennifer is a teacher in our program. She moved here with her husband from California where she attended Diablo Valley College. She is working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has worked with pre-school age children for many years. She loves working with children and watching them grow and learn each day. She enjoys coloring, drawing, and boxing. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, Frodo. She is looking forward to getting to know all the wonderful families here at The Goddard School.

Miss Zinjaya, Lead Teacher Miss Zin is a Teacher in our program. She has an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Suffolk County Community College, located in New York. She is overjoyed to share her acquired skills and to learn more to create a pleasant and loving environment with the children and the staff!

Ms Mariam, Lead Teacher Ms. Mariam is an assistant teacher for our school. She graduated from a university in Egypt with a Bachelor Degree in Teaching. After graduating she worked at a language school. She taught children from kindergarten to sixth grade. Now she lives in Natick with her husband and two wonderful children. She is so happy to work here at the Goddard School and to get to know you and your children!

Ms Teresa, Lead Teacher Miss Teresa is a Teacher in our program. She loves being a mom to her son Sebastian. She obtained an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Quincy College. She loves spending time with her family, cooking, and playing board games with her son. She is excited to be working with all the children and their families at The Goddard School and for being part of this wonderful family.

Miss Danielle, Lead Teacher Miss Danielle is a teacher here at The Goddard School. She graduated from Massachusetts Bay Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Science with a focus in Early Childhood Education. Currently, she is enrolled in the University Without Walls program at UMass Amherst where she is studying Children’s Learning and Development. She is very excited to be working here at the Goddard School! Her hobbies include baking and babysitting! She also really enjoys lake life. She spends her spare time waterskiing, tubing, swimming, floating and boating as often as possible! She has been working with children since she was fifteen years old and is so excited to get to know all of you!

Miss Danielle

Miss Eileen, Lead Teacher Eileen is a Teacher here at The Goddard School. She is originally from Boston but now reside in Framingham. She graduated from Brookline High School and attended Mount Ida College in Newton, MA majoring in sports management. Her hobbies include collecting unicorns, socializing with friends and family and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide football team. Before joining the Goddard School, she was a nanny for three adorable children. She also coached Brookline’s pop warner cheerleading squad. She has always loved working with children and is so happy to be able to help children grow, learn and develop!

Ms Deborah, Lead Teacher Deb is a Teacher here at The Goddard School. She received her Bachelor's degree from Lasell College, and her Master's degree in Elementary Education from Long Island University. She looks forward to meeting and getting to know everyone.

Ms Dianne, Lead Teacher Dianne is a Teacher here at The Goddard School. She has two children, Conner and Kayla, who also works here. She is excited to be working with a great team here at The Goddard School in Wayland. She looks forward to new experiences with the children and their families.

Miss Stephanie, Assistant Teacher Miss Stephanie is an assistant teacher here at The Goddard School. She currently attends Wheelock College for a degree in Early Childhood and Developmental Psychology. She loves watching children learn and grow through play. She believes it is important to work with families and the community around them. She is excited to be a part of The Goddard School and getting to know each family!
