Mike and Janelle, Owners Janelle & Mike Glasser, School Owners -
Janelle and Mike thank you for being a part of Goddard's family! They are the parents of three children, ages 20, 18 and 15. They opened this school after much soul searching to find the perfect family-friendly business that makes a tangible, positive difference in the world. Janelle spent seven years at home raising the kids before opening The Goddard School®. Prior to that, she worked for many years in events coordinating, advertising and Public Relations. She began her professional life as an elementary school teacher and is thrilled to return to the world of children! Her focus on the school is program development, curricular planning and staff development. Mike worked for many years in the technology field, including programming, computer sales and service as well as internet sales. Mike joined the school full-time in its second year of operation. He has many opportunities to put his IT skills to use, keeping the classroom computers running and helping his IT-challenged wife handle the intricacies of the modern world. He loves being involved in the day-to-day operation of the school and considers the many parents, students and teachers as extensions of his own family. Being in the preschool and childcare business has been very satisfying and fun!
