Our Cognia and MSDE accredited school is 5-Star rated in the MD EXCELS program! We’d love the opportunity to show you our high quality infant through kindergarten programs and introduce you to our highly skilled, passionate teachers. We accept MD CCS and MoCo WPA programs and are an approved Private Provider for Maryland's PreK Expansion Grant!

Meet Harvey On Site Owner

Ms. Harvey has worked with the Goddard School since 2010. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Hood College. She began her Goddard career at the Goddard School in Gaithersburg as a teacher in the Early Preschool program and continued into the Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs. In 2013, she made the move to administration and proudly opened the Goddard School in Silver Spring in 2015. Ms. Harvey also has three sons all of whom have attended/ are attending the Goddard School in Silver Spring! As a parent as well as an educator, she knows the benefit children gain from a phenomenal early education program. They are not only gaining academic skills, but also the social and emotional preparation to be ready to "take on the world" as they head to "big kid" school and the world! She proudly accepts the Maryland Child Care Scholarship and MoCo Working Parents Assistance Program, working with families to ensure all children access quality early education.

Infant

6 w - 12 m

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.

Toddlers

12 - 24 m

As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.

Twos

2 - 3 yrs

In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.

Preschool

3 - 4 yrs

In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.

Pre-K

4 - 5 yrs

As your child prepares for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities to develop important skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.

Kindergarten

5 - 6 yrs

Hands-on learning and a focus on social-emotional development in our Kindergarten classroom will prepare your child for success in first grade and beyond!

Goddard is just so on top of everything. The second that something happens that is out of the norm - anything from a fire alarm to a global pandemic - they kick into action and communicate so effectively with parents. This communication is so crucial to parents not having to ever worry about what's happening with their kids. We always know they're getting top-rate care and education, and that situations out of the norm are handled so well.
