Mrs Lindsee, Owner Hi! My name is Lindsee Travis and I am the proud owner of The Goddard School in Wentzville, MO. I have lived in the St. Louis area for over ten years. Before becoming a school owner, I was a Goddard Parent – which made the decision to open a Goddard School an easy one for my family. I have a Bachelors Degree in Health Care Management. My husband and I have 2 daughters and 1 son who have all attended The Goddard School. I am a member of the Wentzville Chamber of Commerce and I also do charity work for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Mrs Coleen, Director Hi! My name is Coleen Shipley and I am the Curriculum Director. I have been here since day one and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I grew up in Des Moines, Iowa and graduated from Drake University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Physical Education and Health. I have taught in elementary schools in Iowa, Idaho, Tennessee, Chicago, and Plattsburg, MO. I received my Master’s Degree in 1999. I have enjoyed every minute of my 34 year career. My husband, Steve, is retired. I have three children and six grandchildren that occupy most of my time. I enjoy going to the theatre, quilting, crafts and sports. I am so happy to be able to share this experience with your children.
Mrs Niki, Director My name is Niki Engelberg and I am the Director of Administration here at the Goddard School. I started off as the Young Toddler teacher when we opened our school and have enjoyed every minute of being here since!
I grew up in Emmet Nebraska and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education which I received from the University of Nebraska. My husband and I moved to Wentzville almost four years ago and my three children attend school here at the Goddard School. It is such a joy to be able to be so close to them and to watch them learn each day!
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, doing crafts and traveling. My husband and I are having so much fun watching our kiddos grow up and are amazed by them each and every day!

Miss Allie, Assistant Director HI! My name is Allie Farmer and I am the Assistant Director. I graduated from SCC with a degree in Business Administration in December 2011. I worked at The Goddard School in St. Charles for 5 ½ years with infants as well as 2 and 3 year olds. I am very excited to join Wentzville Goddard School working as the Assistant Director. I love watching kids learn and grow. When I’m not working, I love shopping, scrapbooking, and hanging out with my friends. I am very excited to meet all the families here.
Miss Sarah, Lead Teacher Hello Parents! My name is Sarah Rivera and I work in the Infant Room here at Goddard. I live in Wentzville and attend SCC working towards my degree in Psychology. In my free time I enjoy reading, drawing, and spending time with my boyfriend and friends. I love working at Goddard because all of our parents are so nice and all of the students are so bright and cute. I look forward to meeting you and your little ones.
Miss Bethanie, Lead Teacher Hello! My name is Bethanie and I am very excited to join The Goddard Family in the infant room. I just completed Associates Degree in General Education at St. Charles Community College. I have plans to go back to school to further my career in pediatric nursing. I come from a large family consisting of four brothers and two sisters. I also have four nephews and two nieces. In my free time I love hanging out with my friends and family. I look forward to watching the children learn and grow!
Jessica, Lead Teacher Hi! My name is Jessica and I’m so excited to work with your children here at The Goddard School. I graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with my Bachelor’s in English and Speech Education. I am currently attending Lindenwood University for my Bachelors Degree in Teaching. I like boating, fishing, and reading. I look forward to spending time with your child and getting to know your family!
Blythe, Lead Teacher Hello! My name is Blythe and I am very excited to be joining the wonderful teachers at The Goddard School. I recently moved to Missouri from Texas and I absolutely love the scenery and weather here. I recently graduated from Ashford University with my Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education. When I am not teaching I love to hang out with my family, exploring the area and taking my daughter to the park. I look forward to getting to know you and your family.
Megan, Lead Teacher Hi, my name is Megan and I live in High Hill, MO on a far. I have two children Conner and Brooklyn. Conner is 4 and loves tractors and Brooklyn is 2 and loves Thomas the Train. I have my degree in Child Development. I love working with kids. In my free time I enjoy crafts and anything to do with art. I am really excited to be part of the Goddard Family.
Miss Samantha, Lead Teacher Hello! My name is Samantha and I am the Lead Teacher in the Leaping Leopards Classroom. I currently live in Jonesburg, MO. I have a little boy of my own named Bentley. I have my Associates Degree in Family and Child Development from Ozark Technical College. I love to be here helping children learn and grow. I’m so glad to be part of The Goddard Team!
Anna, Lead Teacher Hello parents, friends, and family my name is Anna. I am very excited to be the Lead Teacher in the Zany Zebra’s classroom. I have obtained my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education through the University of Missouri, St. Louis. I am one of five in my very close family, and I was just recently married. I am a firm believer in collaborative efforts between parents and teachers. The collaboration and communication between us will insure successful learning experiences and relationships. My number one priority is to create a safe, comfortable, and predictable learning environment. I am very happy to be a member of The Goddard School family, and I look forward to working with you to help your children become life-long learners.

I recently graduated from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO with my degree in Elementary Education. In my free time I enjoy playing volleyball and spending time with my family and friends. Miss Rachel, Lead Teacher My name is Rachel and I am the Lead Teacher in the Zany Zebra Classroom. I am very excited to be a part of the Goddard Team. I recently graduated from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO with my degree in Early Childhood Education. In the future, I would like to get my Master’s Degree in Reading. I currently live in Washington with my family and numerous pets. I have everything from a little white goat to a fuzzy black cat! In my free time I enjoy swimming, spending time with friends and family and doing anything outdoors. Teaching is my passion and I am thrilled to be able to share my passion with The Goddard Family.

I have previously worked in child care with infants so I am very excited to meet your little ones! I am the oldest of 4 girls in my family. Before starting here at The Goddard School I was a nanny. I am really excited to be working at The Goddard School and to be a part of your child’s learning experience. Emily, Assistant Teacher Hello! My name is Emily Travis. I have worked with preschoolers for a year before becoming a member of The Goddard School. I am currently working on my Associates in Elementary Education at St. Charles Community College. I am an aunt of five. I have two dogs and six chickens. I absolutely love working with young children. I am thrilled to be a part of this school and to have the change to get to know each and every child!
Jamie, Assistant Teacher Hi my name is Jamie and I’m the Assistant Teacher in the Bouncing Kangaroos. I was born in Lansing, Michigan and moved to Missouri in 2004. I graduated from Holt High School here in Wentzville. I’m currently attending St. Charles Community College. I just recently bought a house in Troy and will be getting married in August. I have a dog that I love to death! I love going to the river and boating and being outside. I have one younger brother and will soon have 2 nephews that are 5 and 7 years old. I love being around my family and taking trips. I’m excited to be a part of The Goddard Family and look forward to getting to know each family.
Ronnetta, Assistant Teacher Hello! My name is Ronnetta and I am the Assistant Teacher in the Leaping Leopard's Classroom. I’ve been working with children of all ages for 10 years. I also teach sign language to parents who have children with a disability. I am currently working on getting my CDA. In my free time I love to dance and spend time with my family. I am very thankful to be working here at The Goddard School and look forward to getting to know all of the families.
Miss Meaghan, Assistant Teacher Hi! My name is Meaghan and I am so excited to return to The Laughing Lions Classroom! I have several years of experience working with young children and it is one of my favorite things to do. I am in the process of earning my degree in Elementary Education. In my free time I enjoy camping, baking, and spending time with my friends and family. I look forward to getting to know all of my students and their families.
Miss Alyssa, Assistant Teacher Hello! My name is Allyssa and I am the Assistant Teacher in the Eager Elephants Classroom. I am so excited about being a team member here at The Goddard School. I have always loved working with children and watching them grow and learn. Growing up in a family of six children has sparked my interest in wanting to educate others. For two years I went to the University of Missouri in Columbia and now I am completing my education through their online program. Now that my family has grown and expanded, I have 6 nieces and a nephew. I absolutely adore them. I am overjoyed to get to know you and your children here at The Goddard School.

I grew up in Troy, Missouri and after graduation from Troy Buchanan High School I attended Lindenwood University for a year and then transferred to UMSL. Kay, Assistant Teacher Hello, my name is Kay and I'm very excited to be a part of The Goddard School family! I have my Masters Degree in Reading Education and a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Illinois State University. I have taught for nine years (First, Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Grade Reading). I have also be an instructional aide for two years for First and Second Grade Classrooms. This year I will have been married to my husband Terry for 29 years and have 2 wonderful daughters. I enjoy biking with my husband, reading and cooking. I am so happy to be back in the classroom after being a stay at home mother for many years!
Mrs Courtney, Resource Hi! My name is Courtney and I am the Lead Teacher in the Toddler Room. I have worked with small children for over three years and I love it! I have my degree in Recreation Management, but most of my classes are physical education. I love being around children. I am a mom myself, I have a 3 year old that keeps me very busy. I love spending time with my family and we love doing sports activities like basketball and working out. Family is very important to me as I know it is to you. I look forward to getting to know you as a part of The Goddard School Family.
