Mrs Lindsee, Owner Hi! My name is Lindsee Travis and I am the proud owner of The Goddard School in Wentzville, MO. I have lived in the St. Louis area for over ten years. Before becoming a school owner, I was a Goddard Parent – which made the decision to open a Goddard School an easy one for my family. I have a Bachelors Degree in Health Care Management. My husband and I have 2 daughters and 1 son who have all attended The Goddard School. I am a member of the Wentzville Chamber of Commerce and I also do charity work for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Mrs Coleen, Director Hi, I am so proud to be the Director of The Goddard School. I had the pleasure of breaking ground here at The Goddard School. I have a Master's degree in Education with over 45 years' experience in education. I have been married to Steve for 44 years. We have 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and a fur friend named Sasha. I am CPR and First Aid Certified.
Ms Mary Jo, Assistant Director Ms. Mary Jo currently lives in Perry, but will be moving closer soon. She has been with us since September 2016. She has three fur babies, who she loves dearly. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies from Lindenwood University. She went on to receive her Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Missouri Baptist University. She has been working with children for 9 years. She is honored to start this new chapter at The Goddard School. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Ms Michele, Lead Teacher Ms. Michele is the lead teacher in the Tiny Tiger’s Classroom. She has been with us since May 2016. She recently moved here from Sacramento, CA. with her husband. She has an Associate’s in Early Childhood Education. She has been working in the field since 2010. She loves being a teacher because being around children makes her happy. She says, “their curiosity, sense of wonder and unique personalities makes everyday a blast.” She is happy to be a part of the Goddard Family. She is CPR and First Aid Certified.
Ms Jessica, Lead Teacher Ms. Jessica is the lead teacher in the Panda’s classroom. She has been with us since November 2014. My greatest blessing in life is being a mother. She has a degree from MSU and has worked with children of all ages as a Recreation Therapist. She has also worked as an assistant teacher in both an elementary school and pre-school setting. She always says if your child comes home a colorful mess, they had a great day. She is CPR and First Aid Certified.
Ms Carrie, Lead Teacher
Ms. Carrie graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies. Within the next few years she will become certified in Special Education and hopes to work with special needs children. She enjoys teaching, and learning from them every day.
Ms Danielle, Lead Teacher Likes include: eating, sleeping and hanging out with friends. Future elementary school teacher. Loves teaching kids new and exciting things!
Ms Lauren, Lead Teacher Ms. Lauren O. is the lead teacher in the Bouncing Kangaroo’s Classroom. She has been with us since February 2015. She absolutely loves her job! She can’t think of anything more enjoyable than teaching her little kiddos. She is molding their brains for bigger and better accomplishments in life. These children are the future and her inspiration. It all starts with education. Teaching is one of those rare professions that keep your brain young, allowing you to continue your journey as a student and as a lifelong learner. She graduated from Timberland High School, attend SCCC, and is going to UMSL to further pursue her education as a teacher and to be as successful as she possibly can. She has always been interested in teaching. She babysat growing up, worked with kids, and when she was little she loved playing teacher. She loves running, scrapbooking, music, and being around her family and friends. She is CPR and First Aid Certified.
Ms Hadley, Lead Teacher Ms. Hadley has been at The Goddard School since October 2014. She is pursuing a degree in occupational therapy. She loves watching her students excel and knowing she is a part of it.
Ms Lauren, Lead Teacher Ms. Lauren M. is the lead teacher in the Zebra’s classroom. She has been with us since October 2015. She is from Hawk Point, MO. She graduated from the University of Central Missouri in Education. She has four years of experience working with children and has wanted to be a teacher since she was in kindergarten. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Ms Tasha, Lead Teacher Ms. Tasha is the lead Kindergarten Prep teacher in the Lion's Classroom. She currently attends Lindenwood University majoring in Elementary Education. She has worked in child care since 2003, but has been with us since March 2016. She absolutely loves teaching this age. They are able to reflect back in the most creative ways. She believes that every child learns, feels and grows differently. Children need patients, respect and kindness to flourish. She is CPR and First Aid Certified.
Ms Kristin, Lead Teacher Ms. Kristin studied Psychology at the University of Missouri St. Louis. She always knew she wanted to work with children and used her Psychology degree to focus on Childhood Development. Her favorite part about teaching is seeing each child's eyes light up when they are learning!
Ms Kayleigh, Assistant Teacher Ms. Kayleigh is the classroom assistant in the Tiny Tiger’s Classroom. She has been with us since September 2015. She is a full-time college student pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education through Liberty University online. She enjoys sports, photography, and music. She loves working with kids. She says, “their energy and sense of wonder never ceases to amaze me.” She is CPR and First Aid Certified.
Ms Sarah, Assistant Teacher Ms. Sarah is the assistant teacher in our Infant classroom. She has been at The Goddard School since August of 2011. Her caring nature and knowledge makes her an important part of our school.
Ms Emily, Assistant Teacher Ms. Emily is a graduate student working on her Masters in School Counseling. She loves working with children because they keep her laughing and on her toes.
Ms Kylie, Assistant Teacher Ms. Kylie is the assistant teacher in the Giraffe’s classroom. She has been with us since August 2016. She absolutely loves kids and loves watching them learn and grow. She plans to begin college for Early Childhood Development as soon as she can. Her hobbies include dancing and singing. She has three dogs and four cats. She loves to play with her animals. She is happy to be a part of the Goddard family. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Ms Emily, Assistant Teacher Ms. Emily L. is the assistant teacher in the Chimp’s classroom. She has been with us since March 2016. She is seeking a degree in Elementary Education through East Central College. She is a hands-on learner and loves to be outdoors wind surfing. She believes teaching a child is the greatest privilege a person can have. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Ms Toni, Assistant Teacher Ms. Toni is the assistant teacher in the Leopard’s classroom. She has been with us since March 2016. As far back as she can remember, it has been her passion to work with children. She is currently studying to get her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She puts her heart and soul into every one of her students and dedicates her time to coming up with fun and creative ways to help them learn. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Ms Bethanie, Assistant Teacher Ms. Bethanie has been with us since December 2012! She has worked with kids on both sides of the building and loves what she does. When she is not at work she loves spending time with family and friends while snuggling her baby boy, Lincoln. She is looking forward to watching your child learn and grow here at the Goddard School! She is CPR and First Aid Certified.
Ms Kelsey, Assistant Teacher Ms. Kelsey is the assistant teacher in the Zebra’s classroom. She has been with us since July 2016. She recently graduated from Mizzou where she obtained a Bachelor's in Psychology. She enjoys hand embroidery and reading. She has always known that she wanted to work with children, so she’s thrilled to be with The Goddard School. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Ms Ashley, Assistant Teacher Ms. Ashley is the assistant teacher in the Lion’s Classroom. She has been with us since August 2016. She has been working in Early Childhood for about 2 years, and plans to further her education. In her spare time, she likes to hike, fish, read and spend time with my friends and family. She has a dog named Mika, who she loves with her whole heart. She also comes from a large family. She is happy to be a part of the Goddard family. She is CPR and First Aid Certified.
Mr Conner , Assistant Teacher Mr. Conner is currently attending St. Louis Community College. He is going to graduate with a degree in fire science and an EMT degree. He's happy to be here and truly enjoys spending time with these kids! This is more than a job to him; this is a chance to teach each child something new every day.
Ms Patricia , Assistant Teacher Ms. Pat W. is the assistant teacher in the Elephant’s classroom. She has been with us since July 2015. Her husband’s name is Jim and they have three wonderful kids. She has over four years working as a lead teacher and assistant. She ran her own daycare for several years. She has a certificate in software computers, medical field and various others. She loves working with children and being a part of their growing experience. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Ms Ayla, Resource Ms. Ayla is our S.T.E.A.M. Specialist. She has been teaching with us since October 2014. She has been teaching Early Childhood since April 2012, and has enjoyed every minute of it! She is currently going to school at the University of Missouri- St. Louis and is finishing her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She has a beautiful baby girl and loves spending time with her and her fiance. She is CPR and First Aid Certified.
