Steven, Owner Hi! I am Steve Friedlander, owner of The Goddard School in Pittsford, NY. After 34 years with the Xerox Corporation, I decided to begin a new adventure with my daughter, Bari. We opened The Goddard School in the Fall of 2006. I have four wonderful grandchildren and over one hundred more children I see each day at school who greet me as "Mr. Steve!"
Bari, Director Hi! I am Ms. Bari. I am the Education Director for The Goddard School. I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from SUNY Geneseo and my Masters degree in Child Development from Tufts University. I have a husband, three children, and a dog named Scout. I enjoy watching performing arts, attending Little League games and being outdoors.
Lisa, Assistant Director Hi! I am Ms. Lisa. I am the Assistant Director. I received my B.A. in Fine Arts from Nazareth College and hold a CDA in Infant & Toddler education. I have worked in child care for 13 years.
I have two beautiful daughters who keep me sane and drive me crazy. My interests include camping and geo-caching with family. I also enjoy scrap-booking, crafting and reading.
Christine, Lead Teacher Hi! I am Ms. Christine. I am a teacher in the “Panda Bears” Preschool classroom. I have a CDA (Child Development Associates) and am working toward by Bachelors degree. I have been teaching young children since 2006.
I have a dog named Jonah who is a Coonhound Beagle. I love photography and Jazz music!
Kimberly, Lead Teacher Hi! I am Ms. Kimberly. I am a teacher in the “Brown Bears” Preschool classroom. I received my B.S. in Childhood Education and Special Education, and my M.S. in Special Education. I worked as a Preschool teacher in Getzville, NY for 4 years before coming to The Goddard School last January.
I have a husband and two sons. I also have 2 cats named Bella and Lewis. I enjoy reading, attempting to cook and spending time with family.
Elise, Assistant Teacher Hi! I’m Ms. Elise. I am a teacher in the “Brown Bears” Preschool classroom. I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology and worked with developmentally delayed adults and teens for five years. I began teaching at The Goddard School in 2007.
I am married and have a daughter. I enjoy cooking, scrap-booking, craft activities and being outdoors.
