Anna, Lead Teacher Hello, I'm Miss Anna!! Welcome to the Tigers classroom. I am so thrilled to welcome my new friends to my room. I have been in the Tiger’s classroom for the past 5 years and have loved every minute of it. The smiles, hugs and funny stories make teaching this age group so much fun! I have my associates degree in Liberal Studies and my CDA certificate in Early Childhood. I am currently furthering my educational career at Penn State University, majoring in Human Development and Family Studies. When I am not at work, I enjoy working out, spending time with my niece and traveling. Can’t wait to see all of your children grow this school year. I am always here to answer any questions or concerns that you might have.

Shannon, Lead Teacher Hello! My name is Miss Shannon and I will be teaching in the Tigers’ classroom! I am so excited to get to learn more about each child, but first I’ll tell you a little about me! I grew up in Sewell, New Jersey. I love to spend time with my family, going to the beach in Ocean City and read mystery books! I graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Early Grades and Special Education. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember! I love working with children of all ages and I feel like I can learn just as much from them as they can from me.

Katie, Lead Teacher Hello, I'm Miss Katie!! I recently moved to West Chester from Long Island. In 2013, I received my B.A. in Child Study (with a concentration in Psychology) from St. Joseph’s College in New York. In the Spring, I will be going back to school at West Chester University for my M.Ed in Reading. When I am not teaching, I love to make different crafts such as home and wedding signs and decor, and I recently got into making jewelry too. I am so excited to meet all of your children.

Carley, Lead Teacher Hello, I'm Miss Carley!! I am so excited to be part of The Goddard School! I promise to make this year both fun and educational for your child! It is going to be wonderful to go on this adventure together and see what this year has in store for us! Since I am going to be part of your child’s daily routine, I would like to tell you a few things about myself! I was born and raised in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. I am the second youngest of seven children. Therefore, the hustle and bustle of a classroom makes me feel right at home! At the age of six, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. My favorite activity was to play school with my siblings, and I was always the teacher while my siblings were my students! I am a recent graduate of West Chester University. I graduated in May 2017 with my Bachelor’s in Early Grades and Special Ed. Throughout my education, I have developed a true passion for teaching and can’t wait to share that with all of you! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your child’s education!

Cece, Lead Teacher Hello, I'm Miss Cece!! This is my first year at the Goddard School in West Chester. I have previously taught the preschool age group at a Goddard School in Bethesda, Maryland. I also nannyed and tutored for a family but am super excited to return to the classroom. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013 with a degree in Psychology. I am a new home-owner and recently newlywed, so my free-time lately consists of landscaping (which I love) and painting (which I don’t). I also like to read, go on walks and spoil my dog. I am excited to get school year started and have many fun ideas! I value parent-teacher communication and will be available for any questions or concerns as they arise! Let’s make this a fabulous school year!

Brittany, Assistant Teacher Hi, I am Miss Brittany. I am currently a Criminal Justice major at Wilmington University, in my final year. I have worked with children for many years. I have worked at summer camps and various child care centers. I am a huge advocate for the arts as I am a musician in my free time. Music is a big part of my life and I love to incorporate it into the classroom. If I am not playing music, you can usually find me at the beach or in nature taking photos! I am so happy to be part of the Goddard Team!

I have previously worked at camps and nannied during my summers. My love for children is endless as I enjoy watching children learn and grow. Sharing my knowledge, laughs and smiles is the reason why I work with children. I hope to leave a positive impact on each one of your children as they continue to succeed.

Amber, Assistant Teacher My name is Miss Amber and I am the teacher in the Snake class room this year. I am more than excited to get to meet you and your child and help them grow as a person at this young and impressionable age. I love children and working with them I believe is one of the most important jobs there is. Kids are the future of us, and the way they are sculpted into the little human beings they are create the path of not just their future, but to one day guide the generations to come about how this crazy thing we call life works.

Laura, Assistant Teacher My name is Miss Laura and I am the Lead Teacher in our Snakes classroom! I am very excited to begin this journey and to help your children grow and learn every day. I am currently enrolled at Liberty University to obtain my Bachelor/Masters combined degree in Early Childhood Education. I also graduated 4 years ago from Harcum College where I studied the field of Occupational Therapy. My specialty is in Pediatrics, so working as your child’s lead teacher is a perfect fit for me. I love focusing on crafts that will incorporate your child’s fine motor skills, hand strength and most importantly; their creativity. I will be focusing on a new letter each week and working on our cutting and coloring skills too. We are going to have a great year together!

Amanda, Assistant Teacher Hi! I am Miss Amanda and I am looking forward to being your child’s teacher this year. I recently graduated from Arizona State University with a major in Political Science and a minor in Family and Human Development. Although this will be my first-year teaching at The Goddard School, I previously taught preschool and Pre-K for the last two years at Lightbridge Academy. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and our dog, Zues, decorating our new home or going to the park. I value parent/teacher communication, so please feel free to come to me during the year with any questions or concerns. Looking forward to a great year together!
