Our teachers blend the highest standards in early childhood development with nurturing care.

Laurie Miss Laurie is a graduate of Montgomery County Community College with an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Elementary. She started working with the Goddard School in October of 1995. Laurie has worked in ever classroom in the school. It is very satisfying for her to forge relations with parents and children. She is parent and uses those experiences to better serve her families at the school. Her favorite book is Go Away Big Green Monster.

Pallavi I was born in Karnataka, India. I have a MBA in Finance and Information Systems, presently I am working towards my CDA certification. I have been working in Early learning and Child Development field since 2006. I am in awe of the happiness and excitement that the children possess and love to work in this field that has allowed me to interact with kids on a regular basis. “All kids are fantastic! I am amazed every day that such little people can have such big personalities!”

Ann Miss Ann is our Get Set teacher and our Assistant Director. She recieved her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Developement from Montgomery County Community College. She has been with the Goddard School for over 16 years. Miss Ann treasures the opportunity to watch the children in her class to learn, grow and develop and discover their love of learning. Her favorite book to share with her class is The Little House by: Virginia Lee Burton and she also enjoys a great game of Duck, Duck, Goose on the playground! She is thankful that she can share her passion for education with young minds everyday.

Beth Miss Beth has worked with children for over 16 years. She earned her BS in Psychology from Albright College and a Masters of Elementary Education from Beaver College. Miss Beth is the lead teacher in the Prechool 1 classroom and also assists in the office. Miss Beth loves to play with children. Her favorite book is "There's A Wocket in My Pocker" by Dr. Seuss. Miss Beth's son Joey is soon to be a graduate of our Kindergarten!

Gabrielle Miss Gabrielle graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has worked with children for over six years. Gabrielle student taught in the Norristown school district. She also traveled to Australia to student teach in 2012. Gabrielle is proud of the fact that she danced in THON while at Penn State and helped raise 9.5 million dollars for pediatric cancer. Her favorite book is Going On A Bear Hunt by: Helen Oxenbury.

Brittany Miss Brittany is a graduate from the University of Delaware College of Education and Human Developement. She has worked with Goddard Schools for over 2 years. Brittany enjoys working with children and volunteered as a coach for the Special Olympics. In her free time she enjoys playing sports and traveling.

Katie Miss Katie is the teacher in our Kindergarten class. She gratuated form Eastern University. She majored in Elementary Education with concentrations in Early Childhood and Special Eduation. Katie always know she wanted to be a teacher. She is one of six children and it really shaped het to be who she is today. Miss Katie loves being the Kindergarten teacher. It is very rewarding to her to see the children learn what she is teaching. Her favorite book is Tickle the Duck and her favorite song is "Five Little Monkies."

Marie Miss Marie works in our Infant room. She has worked with children for past twenty seven years. Marie has worked with children in infants up through three years of age. Marie has been at our school for the past two years. She loves working with Miss Hollie in the Infants! In 1980 Miss Marie earned her CNA in nursing and in 2002 was awarded Educator of the Year. She feel like it is her responsibility as a teacher to take care of the children in her class as is they are her own. She likes knowing that she has the change to make a diference in a life and that the children becomes part of her life and teachers her something new about herself. Miss Maries's favorite books are Goodnight Moon and Guess How Much I Love you.

Lakshmi Lakshmi graduated in science from Osmania University, India. Her family moved to USA in 1999. She worked as a volunteer childcare provider during October 2001 to June 2005 in Columbus, OH, where her family lived for seven years.Her family moved to Philly area in early 2008. She started working with the Goddard School in December of 2012. Before joining Goddard, she was a highly successful sales associate with Macy's, where she worked as a team player in a fast-paced environment. She switched back to the childcare job, which she likes the most. Growing up with her elder sisters and a brother back home in India, she had the pleasure and opportunity to provide care and teach early learning skills to multiple infants and toddlers. She uses those experiences to better serve her families at the school.

Laura Miss Laura is the Assistant Teacher in our Toddler class. She has been with the school for over two years. She was attending school to complete a degree in nursing while working her part time. She also explore a job in sales and working at a nursing home. No job she attending was as fulfilling as working with children. After having twins in July 2012, she decided to persue a career in Early Childhood Education. Pace and Willow are what drive her to be a better person and better teacher. She loves what she is doing and thinks that what she does in her classroom makes a difference in the children's lives.

Gladys Miss Gladys has a BS in Social Sciences and Philosophy from the University of Peru and post graduate courses in Administration and Educational planning. Gladys was motivated to move into the Early Childhood Education field during her tenure as a bilingual substitute teacher in the preschool program at the SED center in Washington, DC before moving to Pennsylvania. Miss Gladys is an avid reader, writer of poetry and enjoys dancing as her favorite form of exercise. Miss Gladys has continued her education this by attending trainings in Heath and Safety, Music, CPR, First Aid and Curriculum. Miss Gladys feels that academic success is importand and also ensuring the developement of the whole child.

Dominique Miss Dominique is currently attending Montgomery County Community College and plans to transfer to West Chester University for a degree in ECE. Miss Dominique joined our team in February of 2012. She enjoys working woth all age groups. She is floater in all of our classromms. She also volunteers her time at Ebenezer Church working with the children. She is a new mom to her daughter Ava. It gives Miss Dominique strength to see her smile!

Vilma Miss Vilma graduated from the University of Albania with a BS in Animal Science. While in Albania she taught Science Lab for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. She began working in Early Childhood when she moved to the United States. She has over 12 years experience with our school. Overall, she has over 25 years of experience with children, being a parent, educator and advocate for children. Miss Vilma's passion is reading. Her favorite children's book is "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein. Her favorite song is "Old McDonald" and her favorite game is matching learn patterns bingo. Miss Vilma continues her education annually with trainings in Team Building, Health and Safety, Playground Supervision, Curriculum, CPR, First Aid and Fire Safety. Miss Vilma has enjoyed learning with the children all of her life and enjoying helping them to be their best.

Sam Mr. Sam is a floater in the school. He is currently attending Delaware County Community College. He is planning on transferring to Temple University. Mr. Sam has been working with children since his Junior year in high school. He loves to see their faces when he is telling a story. His favorite book is the Lorax by: Dr.Suess.

Sean Mr.Gus is currently attending Delaware County Community College and West Chester Univerity. He is working towards his degree. Gus has been with the school over three years. He loves working with older children. He loves to play games with them and get them excited. Gus is looking forward to finishing his degree.
