Mrs Marieann, Director Head Director of Education

My interest in Early Childhood Education came early when I was a teenage summer counselor and youth mentor in England. I graduated from high school and received my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education in 1989. From this date until now, I have served in the education field for nearly 27 years.

My children were born in 1998 and 1999 and, shortly afterwards, I opened my own language school “Kids Club – Vilajuiga” (Catalunya, Spain) in 2002. I successfully operated the school for over 8 years, predominantly teaching English to non-native speakers. During this time, I also worked as a consultant language teacher for local schools and a qualified and recognized examiner/invigilator for Cambridge University.

Teaching is my absolute passion and I decided to re-focus my career and passion for Early Childhood Education in 2012 with my family’s relocation to St Augustine. I hold both a National CDA and Florida State Director’s license.

As the Director of Education, my role is multi-faceted. I am responsible for all aspects of the program and love working with our families to ensure that we provide the very best service and early education for our child(ren). I’m also rewarded by working with our teachers to ensure they are fulfilled by their role and have all the tools required to make their classrooms a successful, safe and nurturing environment.
