Meet Lauren Owner

Lauren has a B.A. in Elementary Education from IUPUI and a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Ball State University. She has over ten years’ experience in education working with children of all ages, including a position as Dean of Students for a middle and high school. Lauren's teaching philosophy is that all children are able to learn in a play-based, hands-on surrounding that challenges them to think and grow every day. She believes that we have a responsibility to model for children what it means to be a good citizen in order to prepare them for their future. Her major goal as Onsite Owner is to ensure that each child in our school receives a quality education in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Lauren has not only been an employee for The Goddard School but a family as well. She has seen the benefits of having a child attend a Goddard School and is excited about the opportunity of being the Onsite Owner.

Infant

6 w - 12 m

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.

Toddlers

12 - 24 m

As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.

Twos

2 - 3 yrs

In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.

Bridge

2.5 - 3.5 yrs

As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.

Preschool

3 - 4 yrs

In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.

Pre-K

4 - 5 yrs

As your child prepares for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities to develop important skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.

My child is always excited to go to his pre school, loves his teachers. Teachers are very good at what they do, as i see a positive difference in my sons skills. Now he can write his name, count to 100, does a little maths, can read some words. I like that Goddard has an app where i get daily report of what he ate, n learnt, and i can communicate directly to his class teacher.

The communication is great. I love all of the details and notes they share from his day. I feel like they do a great job with sanitization - which is top of mind this year.
