We provide a nurturing, caring, and enriching environment for children from infancy through Pre-Kindergarten, where they can feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn. Our NAEYC-accredited program has proudly served families in Orange, Milford, West Haven, Woodbridge, and the surrounding communities for the past 20 years. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, providing families

Meet Melissa Director of Education

Ms. Melissa is an exceptional fit for her role as Director at The Goddard School. With a background in Psychology and Human Services, along with extensive experience in early childhood education and prior leadership as a childcare director, she brings knowledge, creativity, and passion to her position. Ms. Melissa’s energy, dedication, and supportive leadership style help foster a nurturing school culture that benefits both students and staff.

Infant

6 w - 12 m

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.

Toddlers

12 - 24 m

As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.

Twos

2 - 3 yrs

In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.

Bridge

2.5 - 3.5 yrs

As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.

3 - 4 yrs

In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.

What Our Goddard Village Is Saying

Andrew really enjoyed his experience this summer at Goddard. He felt very comfortable, loved the teachers, and was always engaged with projects/arts and crafts or educational play. He loved the special events like the foam party, animals that came to visit, giant whale and castle. There was always something new and exciting. We will forever cherish the sweet photos of him taken throughout the day.

The Humanitarian Award honors a School that ‘does well by doing good.’ This award is given to the school that has demonstrated selfless devotion to serving those in need and demonstrates a commitment to community outreach. LEVEL 1

National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredits early childhood programs according to health, safety and education standards. The standards are intended to provide a reliable and accountable accreditation system to encourage the field of early childhood education to strive for a new level of excellence.

IFA FRANCHISEE OF THE YEAR

The Franchisee of the Year Award recognizes leading franchise owners from IFA member brands whose outstanding performance and contributions help protect, enhance and promote the franchise business model. Nominated by their parent company, individuals are selected for their service to their communities, fostering a strong and vibrant workforce, opening the doors for career growth and entrepreneurship and supporting their fellow franchisees.

The Schumacher Resiliency Award recognizes a franchisee who has demonstrated successes despite navigating challenges and the changing landscape of early childhood education. Recipients have overcome significant obstacles to achieve impressive accomplishments in their school and business, dedicated their time to advocating for the most vulnerable among us, and acted with bravery to drive change in their communities — and across the system.
