Meet Melissa Director

Ms. Melissa is an outstanding fit for her role as Director at The Goddard School. With a background in Psychology and Human Services, combined with extensive experience in the early childhood education field, she brings both knowledge and passion to her position. Her previous role as a director at a large childcare facility provided her with valuable leadership experience, which now informs her ability to support both the children and faculty at Goddard. She is enthusiastic about contributing her creativity and expertise to the program, and her energy and dedication are already making a positive impact. Ms. Melissa’s leadership style has shaped a nurturing and supportive school culture, benefiting students and staff alike.

Infant

6 w - 12 m

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.

Toddlers

12 - 24 m

As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.

Twos

2 - 3 yrs

In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.

Bridge

2.5 - 3.5 yrs

As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.

Preschool

3 - 4 yrs

In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.

Pre-K

4 - 5 yrs

As your child prepares for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities to develop important skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.

What Our Goddard Village Is Saying

Andrew really enjoyed his experience this summer at Goddard. He felt very comfortable, loved the teachers, and was always engaged with projects/arts and crafts or educational play. He loved the special events like the foam party, animals that came to visit, giant whale and castle. There was always something new and exciting. LEVEL 1

National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredits early childhood programs according to health, safety and education standards. The standards are intended to provide a reliable and accountable accreditation system to encourage the field of early childhood education to strive for a new level of excellence.

IFA FRANCHISEE OF THE YEAR

The Franchisee of the Year Award recognizes leading franchise owners from IFA member brands whose outstanding performance and contributions help protect, enhance and promote the franchise business model. Nominated by their parent company, individuals are selected for their service to their communities, fostering a strong and vibrant workforce, opening the doors for career growth and entrepreneurship and supporting their fellow franchisees.

SCHUMACHER RESILIENCY AWARD

The Schumacher Resiliency Award recognizes a franchisee who has demonstrated successes despite navigating challenges and the changing landscape of early childhood education. Recipients have overcome significant obstacles to achieve impressive accomplishments in their school and business, dedicated their time to advocating for the most vulnerable among us, and acted with bravery to drive change in their communities — and across the system.

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

The Outstanding Customer Experience Award is presented annually. It recognizes those that have developed a culture within their Goddard School that ensures members of their management team and faculty provide the highest level of customer service to current and prospective Goddard families.
