      • Description: The toddlers will learn about the state flower of New York, the rose. They will enjoy painting at the art center using roses, red paint, and paper to show off their creativity!

      • Description: This week we will be learning about Hawaii, also called "The Aloha State." We will practice saying "Aloha" this week while greeting our friends!

      • Description: We will sing "I'm A Little Hawaiian Child" to enhance our rhythm and tempo. We will also try to do the motions that go along with the song to help enhance our fine motor skills.

      • Description: We will learn about how pineapples are grown in Hawaii. Children will explore a real pineapple in the sensory table and talk about its properties. Children will also get to eat pineapple for snack.

      • Description: The babies will have a chance to choose which toy they would prefer to play with today. They will be able to choose between a plastic pineapple and a plush whale. This is also a great way to learn about opposites!

      • Description: This week as we travel home to South Carolina, we will learn about all the great places and traditions our state has to offer. We will learn about peaches, beaches, BBQ, and of course college football!

      • Description: We will explore peaches at the art table to enhance our sense of touch. This is a great way to practice our fine motor skills as we try to hold the peach half and stamp it on the paper.

      • Description: We will read "P is for Palmetto: A South Carolina Alphabet Book" by Carol Crane. Children will learn the parts of the book and how to handle books appropriately. This is also a great way to enhance letter recognition.

      • Description: This week we will be learning all about the circus! What an exciting place the circus is, from clowns to animals, there is so much to see and do!

      • Description: This week we will be learning about all the different kinds of fish that can be found at an Aquarium. Make sure to stop by our aquarium and check out our newest fish, Fred, too!

      • Description: While learning how fish are able to breath underwater, we will use the National Geographic Kids website to learn more about which animals has gills. This is a great way to learn about fish and also practice our research skills.

      • Description: We will learn when to feed fish and how it's important not to overfeed a fish. Then we will explore with fish stamps, paint, and paper in the art center. When the paint is dry we will use real fish food and glue to finish our pictures.
