      • Description: We will be reading "Sweet Land of Liberty" by Callista Gingrich. We will learn about some of the most treasured landmarks in the USA. This is a great way to teach the children the value of our heritage as a country.

      • Description: We will explore with red, white, and blue finger paint at the art table. We also added a star stamp to the paint for the babies to explore. The colors and shapes reminded us of the American flag!

      • Description: The three year olds will visit the computer lab to view pictures of the USA and the individual states. They will learn about how the states all make up the USA! That is a hard concept for preschoolers!

      • Description: This week we will be learning about the great state of Arizona. Did you know the state bird of Arizona is the Cactus Wren? We enjoyed listening to their beautiful songs.

      • Description: The four and five year olds will be using their fine motor skills to cut out cactus plants and glue onto their paper. They will then write their own addition sentence to practice simple addition.

      • Description: This week we will be learning about California, The Golden State! We will learn all about the gold rush which is how California got it's nickname.

      • Description: Our infants will experience new textures as they explore with sand and water in buckets during outdoor sensory time. This is a great way for infants to enhance their sense of touch!

      • Description: Our four and five year olds will be learning about the gold rush as they explore with metallic gold paint, small rocks, and paintbrushes. The children will enjoy working on their fine motor skills while being creative as they learn about gold!

      • Description: The three year olds will dance to "Surfing USA" by The Beach Boys while learning about the sunny beaches of California. This activity will help the children learn about rhythm and tempo as they dance and sing with their friends!
