Sam, Owner Sam and Jo Morton are the owners of The Goddard School. They were born and raised in Philadelphia. Jo is a graduate of Immaculata College and has her degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology. Sam graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a degree in Management Marketing. They moved to Colorado in May of 2008 to run The Goddard School located in Castle Rock for their daughter-in-law. They enjoyed Colorado and the preschool environment so much that they decided to make Colorado their permanent home and open The Goddard School in Highlands Ranch. Sam and Jo place tremendous emphasis on education. All of their five children are college grads.
Jennifer, Director Miss Jennifer is thrilled to be the Education Director at The Goddard School. She has been in the education field since 1991. Miss Jennifer began teaching preschool and eventually grew into management and administrative positions . She was employed as a Center Director for over nine years in the state of Texas. Upon returning to Colorado she began work as an Infant Room Supervisor for Goddard and then accepted the position as Director of the Goddard School in Highlands Ranch. Miss Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas and is currently working towards her Master's degree in Early Childhood Leaning. "I love working for Goddard. It has been a great experience and we always strive to be the best in early childhood development," adds Jennifer.
Katie, Director Before joining our team, Miss Katie worked at The Goddard School in Castle Rock teaching the two-year-old classroom. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Miss Katie's teaching philosophy is in an extension of Goddard's "Learning Through Play" curriculum.
Adelina, Lead Teacher Miss Lina has been working at The Goddard School since the Spring of 2011. She is a Group Lead Teacher as well as the Infant Room Supervisor. Miss Lina is completing her Associate's degree and will start towards her Bachelor's degree in the summer.
Madison, Lead Teacher Miss Madison just earned her Bachelor's degree at Metro State University of Denver. She is also completing her Teaching Licensure. Madison has been in the preschool field for over 7 years and has worked at The Goddard School for over three years. Madison was a Resource teacher for us until she completed her degree. She is now the co-lead teacher in The Infant Room.
Adrienne, Lead Teacher Miss Adrienne graduated from CSU with a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science and Family studies. She enjoys being a teacher! Miss Adrienne has been working with Miss Morgan in the Terrific Turtle classroom, our 12-18 month children, as co-lead teacher for almost three years.
Morgan, Lead Teacher Miss Morgan has been teaching at The Goddard School since we opened in 2010. She has been a Child Development Professional for six years and is Group Lead Teacher in the Turtles' Room.
Carlie, Lead Teacher Miss Carlie has been working in an educational setting for five years and has been a group lead teacher at the Goddard School for almost three years. For as long as she can remember she has wanted to teach and she is now working her way through school for a degree in Early Childhood Education with a psychology emphasis. Being around the children brings a smile to her face. She is eager to follow her dreams by helping children reach theirs.
Janvier, Lead Teacher Miss Jay attended the Community College of Denver and has her Group Lead Certification. Miss Jay has been working in the preschool field for 15 years. Jay is co-lead teacher in the Elephants' Room, our class of two year olds.
Jessica, Lead Teacher After graduating from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education, Miss Jessica relocated to Colorado last Spring and has been the group lead teacher in the Monkeys' classroom, our class of two year olds.
Jessica, Lead Teacher Miss Jessica moved to Highlands Ranch from Florida after earning her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. Jessica has been working with children of all ages for several years. Prior to moving to Colorado she was an Elementary school teacher. Miss Jessica is co-lead teacher in the Kittens' Room, our class for two 1/2 to 3 year olds.
Rachel, Lead Teacher Miss Rachel graduated from the University of Las Vegas with a B.A.in Theatre. Miss Rachel is also group leader teacher certified and has been working in the preschool field for six years.
Carrie, Lead Teacher Miss Carrie has a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies with specializations in Early Childhood and English as a Second Language from the University of Houston.Miss Carrie enjoys working with preschoolers.
Stephanie, Lead Teacher Miss Stephanie earned her Master's Degree in Elementary Education, Curriculum Assessment and Instruction. She is the co-lead teacher in the Giraffes' Room, our three to four year old classroom. Miss Stephanie has taught in the preschool field for 12 years and been a group lead teacher for five years. Stephanie is currently working on her second Master's degree.
Regina, Lead Teacher Miss Regina received a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of La Verne. She has worked with children for over six years and enjoys working with the children at The Goddard School. Miss Regina was the first teacher hired at The Goddard School in 2010 and we are delighted she is taking care of our Pre-Kers. Miss Regina is the mother of three boys (twins in there,too!)who also attend The Goddard School.
Xinh, Lead Teacher Miss Xinh graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver with a Bachelors Degree in Behavior Sciences and a minor in Early Childhood Education. Miss Xinh has been with The Goddard School for three years and is co-lead teacher in our Pre-Kindergarten Room.
Katie, Lead Teacher Miss Katie has her degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado. She has been working in early childhood education for four years and she loves it! She was born and raised in Denver, and enjoys our Colorado outdoor activities. Miss Katie is co-lead teacher in our Awesome Owls classroom, our Junior Kindergarten/Kindergarten classroom.
Mary Ann, Lead Teacher Miss Mary Ann has been teaching at The Goddard School since we opened. She has been a teacher in the public and private sector for twenty-six years. Miss Mary Ann has degrees in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. She grew up in Colorado and now lives in Highlands Ranch with her husband, Tom, and four daughters, who keep her on her toes!
Sam, Assistant Teacher Miss Sam is currently working towards her Early Childhood Education degree and has worked in the early childhood education field for several years. She is co-lead teacher in the Monkeys' Room, our two to two and one-half year classroom.
Mackenzie, Assistant Teacher Miss Kenzie is currently attending Arapahoe Community College working towards her Bachelor's degree. She is co-teacher in the Puppy Room, our three-years old classroom. Kenzie is the oldest of four sisters and shares her mother's love of teaching.
Kimalee, Resource Miss Kimalee is currently studying at Metro State College for her Bachelor's degrere in Early Childhood Education. She is a Resource teacher who is group lead qualified. Miss Kimalee has been with The Goddard School for almost three years.
Marilyn, Resource Miss Marilyn has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education as well as over 20 years of experience in the preschool field. Marilyn enjoys being a Resource teacher and working in all of our classrooms.
Mary, Resource Miss Mary has a degree in Early Childhood Education and is Infant Room Supervisor qualified. Miss Mary is a Resource Teacher who helps out in all our classrooms.
Noelle, Resource Miss Noelle has worked in the early childhood field since 2001. She has two children of her own and continues to pursue education classes and loves being a life long learner! Miss Noelle is also Infant Room Supervisor certified, working with our babies and younger children.
Trisha, Resource Ms. Trish has a B.A. in Human Development with a minor in Early Childhood Development. She has been teaching children for 10 years and helps out in all our classrooms. Trish enjoys her position as a Resource teacher because she has the opportunity to impact all of the children in our school.
