What our parents say

No Better Staff in McKinney

The staff, the staff, the staff!! My daghter's teachers in the infant room have been incredible. So loving and nurturing as well as real partners to the parents. I could not have imagined leaving my 12 week old baby with anyone other than Q and Becky!

Advanced Education -- Thanks Goddard!

My five-year-old has been reading advanced books to me without any issues for about the last year, writing full sentences, counting to 200, and has an advanced understanding of science and the natural world. I have no doubt the quality care and instruction at The Goddard School can take a lot of credit for that.

The Teachers Are Invested

As soon as I walked in, I knew I could leave my first baby here. It is the best balance of a loving, nurturing environment and a structured pre-school with amazing lesson plans. The teachers are genuinely invested in the development of each child.

Been There Since Day One

As parents, we entrust our greatest blessing to the staff at The Goddard School of McKinney every day and are extremely grateful for the care and guidance she receives. We have been patrons since it opened -- our oldest graduated last year, and this past summer we enrolled our newborn. We have recommended Goddard to neighbors, coworkers, family and friends and will continue to do so as we truly do not believe there is another preschool in Collin County better.

Feeling good as a Mom and Teacher

I am a very passionate pre-school teacher, but a concerned Mother first! Knowing our toddler is being loved, taught, and celebrated by all her teachers, five days a week, gives me the piece of mind to do what my husband and I do to contribute to the community. Her excitement about school gives me immeasurable joy!

One Big Family

My little ones have been at Goddard since they were babies, and there is no other place that I would trust with my most prized possessions. Goddard treats my children with the utmost care, and it is evident that they truly LOVE my children and all the other little ones. Additionally, my children thrive in their classrooms; the teaching and curriculum are top notch. We feel so fortunate to have our Goddard family.

Making The Right Choice

We knew right away that we had made a fabulous choice by trusting The Goddard School with our precious angel each day. She has been loved and nurtured by the teachers and staff on a daily basis. We love our Goddard family.

Differences Embraced

Goddard McKinney feels more like a family than a school. Our two sons attend, and our three-year-old has a speech disorder. It was a little scary for us to bring our barely verbal son to pre-school, but the staff embraced him and made sure that he has everything he needs to be successful. We're deeply grateful for the love and care shown to our boys at Goddard!

- Luke, Nathaniel and Gabriel's Mother (Preschool Classroom)

We finally got it right!

We toured many schools and, in fact, enrolled our daughter somewhere else before moving to Goddard. The curriculum is outstanding, the teachers are amazing and caring, and we loved the hands on, upfront approach by the owners.

My child is actually learning!

I absolutely love Goddard! I feel comfortable sending my child there because I can tell she is actually learning. The days are packed with fun activities and every actvitiy has a purpose. My toddler has so much fun there. All of the teachers that I have met so far are wonderful. And we love all of the fun after school parties and festivals. We will send all of our kids here. Very pleased!

Family Longevity Says A Lot!

I like that I send my child to a school not a day care. She isn’t put in front of a brand expected to just play all day. She has a set routine each day with goals in learning and discovery. There is little turnover in the children that are in her class and she has developed long term friendships with several of the children since she was an infant.

Long List of Things to Love

The list is long! Low staff turnover, excellent teachers and staff, fabulous Harvest lunches (that my toddler eats enthusiastically), socialization, monthly billing, fun mixers and school fairs, art projects, pictures sent daily about what my kiddo did during the day... so much to love about Goddard. Also, Summer Camp programming was a blast!

Our little guy doesn't like to go home!

We love the Goddard School, our little one absolutely loves being there!! He doesn't seem to like it when we pick him up, so you can tell he is always having such a good time. All the teachers we have had so far have been amazing, Karen will always have a special place in our hearts since she was out first teacher. Morgan and Haley have been amazing as well, we know that our little guy is growing and thriving because of them. Can't say enough good things!!

The Vibe Says It All

The staff is always welcoming during drop off and pick up. I love that there is music playing throughout the school, as well as in the classroom. It gives the environment a fun vibe! I enjoy looking at tadpole and seeing all the activities that my child is doing. The teachers do a great job at keeping the kiddos busy and learning something new each day. It makes me feel comfortable knowing I am leaving my child somewhere that I know she is loved and well taken care of.

A Few of My Favorite Things

Research-based curriculums, Harvest meals, trips to the farm, and most of all... the teachers truly care about my son

Ownership is Amazing

We love everything. The staff and ownership is amazing. The Little Harvest Meals are a nice addition as a lunch option and of course are coming from a great restaurant. We also like the curriculum. It is a good combination of learning and play.

Communication is Key

I love that they immediately took time to get to know my child and say him name correctly and make him feel at home. They call and check on him when absent and have great staff and teachers. Communication is key and they do this very well!

Home Away From Home For Our Three Girls

The staff goes the extra mile to help us feel part of the Goddard family.

Love and Care is Obvious

We love the attention to detail and the care that goes into the programs at Goddard. Everyone seems to be on the same page. My girl always comes home happy!

- Abigail and Caroline's Mother (Preschool Classroom)

Everyone Knows My Child's Name

We enjoy the strong combination of professionalism of curriculum and staff with a very familial atmosphere. Just a few months in, our son was seeing dramatic positive changes in his abilities and behavior. And by that time, nearly everyone at the school already seemed to know his name.
