Offering The Best Childhood Preparation for Social and Academic Success.

The Goddard School’s summer camp is powered by STEAM and fueled by fun!

Our summer camp curriculum incorporates STEAM learning (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) into exciting, one-of-a-kind and fun experiences for your child every day! We offer a broad range of programs and mini-camps to pique the interest and curiosity of every child.

The founding principle of The Goddard School’s curriculum is that children experience the deepest, most genuine learning when they are having fun. We have integrated this philosophy into every aspect of our summer camp to foster play-based learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. We’ve created a variety of camps so your children can find a program they will absolutely love. See them below!

Our Camps

July 16th - July 20th

In Wee Rock, your child will have the opportunity to sing, play instruments and investigate various types of music, including rock, pop, classical and more. We’ll even teach your aspiring musician how to make instruments from household items! This fun camp is led by elementary music teacher (and Goddard Parent) Amy Tullos, with special orchestra guests from Lovejoy High School.

July 23rd - July 27th

Whether your child loves taking center stage or prefers working behind the scenes, your child can explore acting, set and costume design, stage lighting and make-up in Star Performers. We will also teach puppetry and help the children put on a puppet show. North Texas Performing Arts group will lead our Junior Campers in "Coco's Adventures" with a performance on Friday!

July 30th - August 3rd

Art has been around for a long time. People were drawing on the walls of caves more than 35,000 years ago! Now your child can create some unique art in Click, Paint, and Create summer camp. Your child will create art with crayons, paint, clay and more. We'll welcome local artists and photographers and make special 3D art creations. Professor Brainius will visit on Thursday to share the Art of Science with the entire school!

August 6th - August 9th

Books are gateways to new worlds filled with interesting characters and stories. Authors in Training offers your child the chance to bring a world, its characters and their stories to life. We’ll also dive into other areas of literature, such as poetry and non-fiction. Younger children can narrate or draw their stories, connecting meaning to pictures and words. Grandparents are invited to join us on Monday for Family Reading Day, and we'll host our Summer Book Drive for The Samaritan Inn.

August 13th - August 17th

Simple machines help us carry out many basic tasks. If you need to lift something heavy, you might use a pulley. If you want to keep a door open, you might put a wedge between the bottom of the door and the ground. Your child will discover how simple machines can make life easier in Engi-nuity! Our week culminates with a Science Fair to demonstrate our efforts. Look for a special event one evening.
