On Thursday, our four older classrooms sample foods that the teachers introduce as part of the morning meeting. During the lesson and before sampling the food, students make observations and predictions about the food’s texture and taste, and teachers will discuss where the food is grown and why it’s a healthy choice. Letter, word, and color applications and cultural connections will be made!
