Offering The Best Childhood Preparation for Social and Academic Success.

Events, visitors, games, activities and celebrations - there's always something fun happening at The Goddard School!

  • WEE Rock July 16-20 July 16 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM

In Wee Rock, your child will have the opportunity to sing, play instruments and investigate various types of music, including rock, pop, classical and more. We’ll even teach your aspiring musician how to make instruments from household items! This fun camp is led by elementary music teacher (and Goddard Parent) Amy Tullos, with special orchestra guests from Lovejoy High School.

  • Star Performers July 23-27 July 23 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Whether your child loves taking center stage or prefers working behind the scenes, your child can explore acting, set and costume design, stage lighting and make-up in Star Performers. We will also teach puppetry and help the children put on a puppet show. North Texas Performing Arts group will lead our Junior Campers in "Coco's Adventures" with a performance on Friday!

  • Art Camp July 30 - August 2 July 30 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Art has been around for a long time. People were drawing on the walls of caves more than 35,000 years ago! Now your child can create some unique art in Click, Paint, and Create summer camp. Your child will create art with crayons, paint, clay and more. We'll welcome local artists and photographers and make special 3D art creations. Professor Brainius will visit to share the Art of Science with everyone!

  • Authors in Training Aug 6-9 August 6 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Authors in Training offers your child the chance to bring a world, its characters and their stories to life. We’ll dive into other areas of literature, such as poetry and non-fiction. Younger children can narrate or draw their stories, connecting meaning to pictures and words. Grandparents are invited to join us on Monday for Family Reading Day, and we'll host our Summer Book Drive for The Samaritan Inn.

  • CPR Class 6:45 August 7 6:45 PM - 8:30 PM

Our monthly CPR and Safety training classes are led by Core CPR and open to friends and families. Teachers renew their training every two years. The cost is $24 cash. Call the office at 469-952-3300 to register.

  • Authors in Training BOOK DRIVE August 9 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Last day to donate a gently used or new book to the new children's center at The Samaritan Inn family village.

  • CLOSED / Teacher In-Service August 10 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM

As an AdvancED Accredited School, we close two days a year so that our teachers can receive quality hours towards their 30-hour-per-year professional development requirement. Thank you for helping us invest in our teachers!

  • Engi-Nuity August 13-17 August 13 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Simple machines help us carry out many basic tasks. If you need to lift something heavy, you might use a pulley. If you want to keep a door open, you might put a wedge between the bottom of the door and the ground. Your child will discover how simple machines can make life easier in Engi-nuity! Our week culminates with a Science Fair to demonstrate our efforts. Look for a special event one evening.

  • Engi-Nuity Family SCIENCE FAIR August 16 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

There's no better way to end our Engi-Nuity Summer Camp week than with a Family Science Fair! We'll have a classroom set up with exciting activities, and we'll be passing out transition information for new families and children who will be transitioning on August 20.

  • First Day of School August 20 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Welcome to the first day of the new school year. For most this means a new classroom but many new families will be joining our amazing school. Welcome, and here we go!
