Ms Wanda, Owner Wanda graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics Education. She was director of an early childhood program for eight years, and served on the curriculum and human resources corporate committees. Wanda then taught child development at the high school level. She also developed curriculum for the school district following state initiatives. She is excited to be around all the younger children again!
Ms Katie, Director Katie has a Bachelors degree from Slippery Rock University in Social Work and a Masters degree in College Student Personnel. Katie has been with the Goddard Family since March of 2008 and worked as our Kindergarten Enrichment Teacher. Katie is currently working as the Education Director. Katie has loved working at The Goddard School because of the high standard of excellence Goddard represents. "The children are wonderful and they always put a smile on my face," adds Katie.
Ms KJ, Lead Teacher Miss KJ has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Hocking College. She is our lead teacher for the Clifford classroom. She has been a part of our faculty since September 2010. She loves when the children give her hugs and the little ones learn to say her name!
Ms Stephanie, Lead Teacher Ms. Stephanie has worked in childcare for seven years. She has six years experience specifically working with toddlers. Stephanie attended Kent State University where she studied Speech Pathology and American Sign Language.
Ms Wendy, Lead Teacher Wendy started at Goddard in April of 2012 as the lead teacher in our Arthur preschool classroom. Wendy graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, magna cum laude, with a degree in Elementary Education. Wendy loves to read to the children, and enjoys seeing their excitement when she brings the characters to life with her voice and actions!
Ms Monica, Lead Teacher Hello! My name is Monica and I am the lead teacher in the Infant classroom.
I recently moved back to Ohio from the state of WA in July 2013. I have two daughters and in our free time we enjoy going to the movies and getting our nails done!
Before joining the Goddard family, I was the Pre-K lead teacher at a privately owned center for 5 years. I am currently working on earning an Associate's degree then a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education.
Ms Rhonda, Lead Teacher Ms. Rhonda is the mother of two teenage children, ages 19 and 16. She grew up in a small town north of Cincinnati called Hamilton. She has lived in Pataskala for 22 years.
Ms. Rhonda loves working with children. She has worked in the Preschool/Pre-K teaching field for nine years. Rhonda says that watching the children experience life and learning through play is so rewarding. She loves the "ah-ha" moments!
Ms. Rhonda's favorite season is Fall. She loves the colors purple and green. Ms. Rhonda enjoys spending time with her family. She is currently writing and illustrating a children's book.
Ms Peggy, Lead Teacher Peggy is the lead teacher in our Pre-K classroom. Her background includes over seventeen years of experience working with children through various organizations and activities. Peggy joined The Goddard School® located in Pickerington 10 years ago and says, “I’ve enjoyed every minute!”
Ms Cassandra, Lead Teacher Ms. Cassandra teaches our full-time private Kindergarten program. Cassandra graduated from Wilmington College with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. Cassandra has taught first and second grade for the last five years in Springboro, Ohio. She loves working with children and could not imagine doing anything else more fun and meaningful. Cassandra is very excited to be a part of the Goddard family!
Ms Leanne, Lead Teacher Ms. Lea is our Kindergarten Enrichment teacher. Lea has her B.S. in English Education. Lea has taught H.S. English and 7th & 8th grade Language Arts and Shakespeare. Lea has 2 daughters and is excited for the upcoming wedding of her youngest daughter. Lea is even more excited for grandchildren! Lea says she loves her job and has never been happier!
Ms Sandy, Assistant Teacher Sandy joined our Goddard School in August of 2010. Sandy is a full time assistant teacher in our First Steps room. Sandy was born and raised in Pickerington. Sandy lives in Baltimore with her son. Sandy loves working with the babies and enjoys their smiles everyday.
Ms Tracy, Assistant Teacher Tracy is one of our substitutes/floaters here at Goddard! She does a wonderful job of filling in wherever we need her! Tracy started with us at Goddard in August of 2008 and has been in child care for 6+ years. She also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations. Tracy enjoys reading with the children and teaching them to read. She loves to laugh at some of the silly things kids say! Tracy has 2 boys attending Goddard in pre-k and our infant room.
Ms Angela, Assistant Teacher Hello, my name is Angela Trogus. My brother and I were adopted at a very young age and we have an amazing family! I have a daughter named Molly. She is truly wonderful! I graduated from Sheridan High in 2009.
I am happy to be a part of the Goddard family!
Ms Sam, Assistant Teacher Ms. Sam is a floater for our toddler classrooms. She is from Baltimore, OH and graduated from Liberty Union. Sam has completed course work at the University of Akron and OUL. Sam coaches 7th grade girls basketball and is very passionate about it. Sam enjoys working with the toddlers and loves the hugs she gets everyday! Sam explains she truly enjoys her job!
Ms Jamie, Assistant Teacher Ms. Jamie has a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology with an emphasis on Family Relations and Human Development from the Ohio State University. Ms. Jamie has over 18 years experience in early childhood education both as a teacher and an administrator. Ms. Jamie joined the Goddard family March 2015. Ms. Jamie lives in Blacklick with her husband, Joey, and their blended family. She likes scrapbooking and reading in her spare time. Ms. Jamie is dedicated to providing a high quality early education for each student and enjoys watching children master new skills!
Ms Carol, Assistant Teacher Ms. Carol is the assistant teacher in our Pre-K classroom. Carol has worked for the Goddard school in Pickerington for 7 years! Carol has 3 children and 7 grandchildren. Carol enjoys cooking and shopping but enjoys watching her grandchildren the most. Carol loves that she still learns something new everyday while working for Goddard!
Ms Lois, Assistant Teacher Ms. Lois has been with The Goddard Family since 2004. Ms. Lois helps in our Infant classroom. You may see Lois out and about as she drives our school aged children to and from school. Ms. Lois resides in Pickerington and you can find her spending her free time gardening, sewing, and traveling with her husband.
