AWARD: Circle of Excellence For Education
2018-2019

Goddard’s Circle of Excellence Award for Education acknowledges Schools that provide the highest-quality and most consistent educational programs in every classroom. To be considered for the award, each School must earn one of the top two ratings of its state’s licensing program, become accredited by at least one of the four primary accreditors or achieve P21 (Partnership for 21st Century Learning) Exemplar status.  Schools that earn this award represent some of the top education programs in our system.

   

AWARD: Anderson Township Beautification Award

2016

The Anderson Township Beautification Award recognizes exceptional residential gardens, commercial properties and neighborhood common areas. The Goddard School located in Anderson Township, OH, was selected in the Outstanding Landscape Design - Nonresidential category.

AFFILIATION: We Thrive!

We Thrive! Childcare Learning Collaborative was created for child care centers and after school programs who have adopted a wellness resolution. By being a We Thrive Center, we are committed to promoting and teaching healthy nutrition and physical activity with access to health foods, drinks, limited screen time and increased active play..

The Brand Ambassador Award acknowledges a franchisee that has gone above and beyond GSI’s system standards to keep its facility and program current and competitive while meeting GSI’s highest standards in the areas of quality assurance, business operations, brand standards, marketing, advertising and public relations.

Goddard’s Circle of Excellence Award recognizes franchisees that meet the highest standards set by GSI in the areas of health and safety, curriculum, overall quality, punctual reporting and business operations. Eligibility is limited to franchisees that score in the highest range in all of these categories.
 

AWARD: LEADERSHIP AWARD

2014

The Leadership Award recognizes one franchisee from each of the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest and Western regions based on their leadership and their mentoring of fellow franchisees. These franchisees demonstrate an unwavering belief in the Goddard system. Additional criteria include the adaptation of new programs and services, participation in national and market events, engagement in the community, school accreditations, participation in GSI meetings and being a brand ambassador.

 

AFFILIATION: ECO-HEALTHY CHILD CARE

2014/2015

Echo-Healthy Child Care (EHCC) supports child care providers in creating child care settings that are as environmentally healthy as possible. The program allows parents to choose child care facilities that are committed to creating a safer, healthier environment for children to learn and grow. Child care centers and family home programs qualify as “Eco-Healthy” by completing a checklist that highlights 30 simple, free or low-cost steps that help you make safer choices for children. Eco-Healthy providers commit to reducing children's exposure to environmental health hazards.

AWARD: Consumer Choice Award- Child Care Centers, Cincinnati, OH

2015

The Consumers' Choice Award is an initiative of Consumers' Choice Institute which has retained a leading independent research firm to conduct surveys in major U.S. cities. It is unique as the winners are determined by consumers and not by a panel of judges. Its purpose is to publicly identify those establishments that have been voted by consumers as being their choice for excellence.


AWARD: Best of the North - Cincy Magazine

2012/2013, 2013/2014

This award recognizes the best in the North Cincinnati area. The Goddard School was voted "Best Preschool" by the readers of Cincy Magazine.

 

AFFILIATION: PARTNERSHIP FOR 21ST CENTURY SKILLS (P21)

2015

P21 is a national organization championing 21st century skills and serves as a catalyst to position 21st century readiness for every student by building collaborative partnerships among educational, business, community and government leaders. The Goddard School has become the first preschool program to join P21.

 

ACCREDITATION: SACS-CASI ACCREDITED

The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI) is a non-governmental, voluntary organization that accredits public and private schools and districts in 11 states, as well as schools for US students in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. SACS CASI accredits a range of schools from preschool through postsecondary, including: early childhood, elementary, middle, secondary, adult/vocational, college preparatory, special purpose, unit (K-12) and non-degree granting postsecondary schools. SACS CASI is an accrediting division of AdvancED. AdvancED is the world's largest education community, representing over 27,000 public and private schools and districts across the United States and 69 countries worldwide serving nearly 15 million students and is dedicated to advancing excellence in education worldwide.

Assessment tools assist teachers in making informed and individualized instructional decisions. Stress-free and developmentally appropriate for young learners, assessment tools determine each student’s level of comfort with early literacy and mathematics concepts. These tools have been vetted by education experts and are used by schools, districts and state agencies nationwide.

Goddard Systems, Inc., the franchisor of The Goddard School, has received corporate accreditation from both AdvancED and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, which acknowledges that we continue to maintain and improve our high-quality early childhood education program.
