The Goddard School’s summer camp is powered by STEAM and fueled by fun!

summer-camp-logo.png

Our summer camp curriculum incorporates STEAM learning (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) into exciting, one-of-a-kind and fun experiences for your child every day! We offer a broad range of programs and mini-camps to pique the interest and curiosity of every child.

The founding principle of The Goddard School’s curriculum is that children experience the deepest, most genuine learning when they are having fun. We have integrated this philosophy into every aspect of our summer camp to foster play-based learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. We’ve created a variety of camps so your children can find a program they will absolutely love. See them below!

Our Camps

June 19th - June 23rd 18 MONTHS - 6 YEARS

Summer camp at The Goddard School is powered by STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) and fueled by fun! We kick off the summer in style with some fun get-to-know-you activities and more! Our camp will be kicking off it's summer with Safety, Friendship and fun!

June 26th - June 30th 18 MONTHS - 6 YEARS

Every day at The Goddard School’s summer camp is a new adventure! Join us to participate in fun activities, learn some new things, and, most importantly, get outside and play! We will be exploring Oceans, Lakes, Beaches and Water Safety.

July 3rd - July 7th 18 MONTHS - 6 YEARS

In Wee Rock, your child will have the opportunity to sing, play instruments and investigate various types of music, including rock, pop, classical and more. We’ll even teach your aspiring musician how to make instruments from household items!

July 10th - July 14th 18 MONTHS - 6 YEARS

Nature is full of interesting things. Did you know there are so many different types of flowering plants that it would be impossible to remember them all? And new flowers are still being discovered! In The Great Outdoors, your child will explore why trees have rings, the effect of sunshine on plants, weather patterns and so much more.

July 17th - July 21st 24 MONTHS - 6 YEARS

It’s Your Move encourages children to use their wits to outplay their opponents no matter what game they’re playing. We will create and play board games and card games, and then we will head outside to play some outdoor games. We will also recreate a game show or two. Win, lose or draw, the point of playing games is to have fun! During this week we will be focusing on Chess at Three and Soccer!

July 24th - July 28th 18 MONTHS - 6 YEARS

Explore the science of food in Kitchen Chemists! Your child will mix together different ingredients and cook them to make something delicious. We will also explore what kinds of foods the children like, what they would like to learn to make and how to eat healthily. Let’s not forget about the most fun part: you child will enjoy some yummy treats!

July 31st - August 4th 18 MONTHS - 6 YEARS

Simple machines help us carry out many basic tasks. If you need to lift something heavy, you might use a pulley. If you want to keep a door open, you might put a wedge between the bottom of the door and the ground. Your child will discover how simple machines can make life easier in Engi-nuity!

August 7th - August 11th 18 MONTHS - 6 YEARS

Math is a vital part of everyday life. In Mega Mathletes, we’ll apply math to everyday situations, such as cooking or calculating distances, to help your child learn to solve math problems easily.

August 14th - August 18th 18 MONTHS - 6 YEARS

Every day at The Goddard School’s summer camp is a new adventure! Join us to participate in fun activities, learn some new things, and, most importantly, get outside and play! This week we will be exploring Photography. Let's take some fun photos.

August 21st - August 25th 18 MONTHS - 6 YEARS

Books are gateways to new worlds filled with interesting characters and stories. Authors in Training offers your child the chance to bring a world, its characters and their stories to life. We’ll also dive into other areas of literature, such as poetry and non-fiction. Younger children can narrate or draw their stories, connecting meaning to pictures and words.

August 28th - September 1st 18 MONTHS - 6 YEARS

That’s a Wrap is your child’s opportunity to make a movie. Your child can write a script, learn how to operate a video camera, edit the video, add music and sound effects to the film and then present and promote the class’s creation.
