Butch & Maria, Owners Butch has a graduate degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in College Administration. He worked in Higher Education for several years before transitioning to a career in the telecommunications industry. He also has an MBA from Duke University. He has experienced The Goddard School as a parent, as well as an owner – both of his children are currently enrolled at the school. Butch is very active in the Cedar Park community, currently serving on the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Maria has an undergraduate degree in Education Psychology from Birmingham Southern University and an M.B.A. from U.T. Dallas. She has worked in various positions within the legal, telecommunications and website development industries but has found her true passion owning a preschool. Maria enjoys offering a loving and educational environment where children can develop into lifelong learners.

WHAT MAKES OUR FACULTY THE BEST?

Our lead teachers are required to have education degrees and certifications. Many of our assistant teachers are also degreed or in the process of completing a degree. In addition to the customized daily lesson plans developed for your child by the lead teacher, our faculty includes a full-time music teacher and a fitness teacher that visit all classrooms throughout the week. Our teachers are carefully mentored and coached by our Curriculum Director to assure each child has a fun learning experience.

Cindy, Director Cindy has a Bachelors Degree in Child Development and a Masters Degree in Education from Texas State University. Cindy has been in the child care and educational field for over 15 years in both the public and private school settings. Cindy taught in Austin ISD for 4 years as a 4th and 5th grade teacher and transitioned to a Literacy Specialist before making a move to Pittsburgh.

In Pittsburgh, Cindy began working at The Goddard School in Peters Township. In Pittsburgh, Cindy started off working in the Toddler classroom, then in the Kindergarten classroom and ended her 5 year tenure as a Director. She enjoys the constant quest for knowledge that children bring and loves children's curiosity. You never know what they are going to say next!

Cindy moved to Texas in the summer of 2017 and became the Operational Director at the Goddard School in Cedar Park.

Heather, Director Heather has been working in the Early Childhood Education field for 10+ years as a teacher and Center Director. She holds a Masters degree in Curriculum Instruction and Assessment and the equivalent of a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education.

Heather is passionate about supporting children, families, and educators and is committed to providing your children with a high quality educational experience.

I am very excited to be the Executive Director at The Goddard School of Cedar Park; I enjoy partnering and working with families during their child(ren)'s early care and education.

Ashley, Assistant Director Ashley has a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and has 20+ years working with children. Ashley started out as a student in high school nannying for families and found her passion was working with children. She has been part of the Goddard School since 2011 and in that time has worked with each age group. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience and a genuine passion for connecting with children and watching them grow. Ashley’s goal is to become the best educator she’s capable of being!

Kelly, Assistant Director Kelly has been working with children for over 19 years as a teacher and an administrator. Kelly has a passion for school age children and has been coordinating after school and summer camp programs for years. She has a degree from St. Edward's University in Language Arts with an elementary certification.

Kelly is passionate about working with children and loves watching them grow and learn. She enjoys building a relationship with the families in the program.

Kelly is the mother of two boys and is very active in the foster and adoptive community as both her boys are adopted. She really enjoys spending time with family and experiencing motherhood raising her boys.
