At The Goddard School of Cedar Park, we believe that the start of your child's journey matters. Since 2007, our COGNIA-accredited Cedar Park preschool & childcare for infants-5th grade has inspired joyful, confident learners. We promote hands-on STEAM, offer private K & support military families via Child Care Aware. Our summer camp serves local elementary school students. We offer low teacher ratios, nurturing educators, music lessons, plus a 3+ acre campus, 2 gyms, & amazing outdoor playscapes. Our public Pre-K program offers discounted tuition for eligible families, including ESL.

Meet Maria Owner
Maria is the on-site owner of The Goddard School of Cedar Park & brings her background in educational psychology to our preschool, daycare, & kindergarten readiness programs. She holds a degree in Educational Psychology & an MBA from UT Arlington. Butch, co-owner, brings leadership experience from higher education & telecommunications & holds a graduate degree in College Administration plus an MBA from Duke. Both of their children are Goddard graduates. Our COGNIA accredited, P21 Exemplar, & Texas Rising Star accredited preschool serves families across Cedar Park & the surrounding community. We are committed to creating a warm, supportive learning environment where children discover new skills, build confidence, & develop a love of learning. Our experienced faculty partners with families to ensure every child feels valued, encouraged, & ready for future success. We look forward to welcoming new families & helping each child grow in a positive, caring setting in early childhood care.

What Our Goddard Village Is Saying
Consistent and caring leadership, meaningful investment in their teachers including training days, great communication, clean, they actually do follow intentional curricula in each class (some daycares advertise this but don’t keep up with it), great meal service option, safe, potty training method, handwriting skills, enrichment classes, nice playgrounds, the list goes on and on. Our son is thriving at this school and has been for 3 years now! We are grateful everyday for this amazing school.
Both of my children have gone to The Goddard School of Cedar Park since they were newborns (now 8 and 5). They were/are both so very prepared for Kindergarten. Goddard established incredible learning practices for my children in a fun way while getting socialization skills, making new friends, and feeling loved and nurtured by the amazing teachers and administrators.
Goddard sees every student as an individual, which makes each child’s experience special and rewarding not only for their education, but lifestyle as well. With the numerous special curricular activities, STEM connections, and engaging lesson plans, it’s always rewarding to see what my son takes from his day at Goddard. The experience here is so delightful, that it’s truly a joy to hear my son say he’s ready for school the next day!
The class structure and the friendliness of the teachers and front office. My children look forward to school and I appreciate the team knows our names.
I like the various thematic foci and the STEAM-based programming. I also like that my child is offered an after-school snack, and that music lessons are available.
I appreciate the hands on learning and Goddard's continual efforts to provide a superior early childhood education. Since beginning P21 activities, I have seen a noticeable change in my child's ability to observe the world around him and communicate his observations to others. Thank you for all that you do!
This school is super awesome my kids love coming here they have so many fun activities to do throughout the week and an amazing outdoor play area. The teachers are very welcoming and friendly.
I have had both my babies go all the way thru the Goddard daycare and kinder prep program and would do it all again! They are stable, consistent, caring and loved my babes. I am forever grateful.

PREK CENTER OF EXCELLENCE
The Kindergarten Readiness System (KRS) provides parents with information that helps them make choices about a pre-kindergarten program and to enable them to select a program that prepares their children to be on or above grade level upon entering kindergarten. High performing programs are awarded the PreK Center of Excellence designation by Texas Education Agency, a state of Texas Gold Standard for high quality pre-kindergarten. The Goddard School located in Cedar Park is one of only two Pre-K programs in Cedar Park that have been selected as ""Gold Standard"" and only 8% of all Pre-K programs in the Austin area have achieved this recognition.
