Meet Ted Owner
Hello, my name is Ted Ray and my wife, Robin, and I are the proud owners of The Goddard School® located on Peachtree Industrial Blvd in Sugar Hill. We have been Goddard School owners since 2000. We live in Alpharetta and have twin boys (Both graduates of Goddard). Before opening our first Goddard School, I worked in Information Technology for 15 years. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and playing golf. While Robin was pregnant with our twins years ago, we recognized the need and demand for a quality alternative to standard daycare. We then decided to open The Goddard School®. Our mission here is to offer the absolute best in high quality childcare and education. Being an on-site owner, I welcome your comments and concerns. Thank you for the opportunity to share in your child’s growth and early childhood development.

Infant
6 w - 12 m
In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.
Toddlers
12 - 24 m
As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.
Twos
2 - 3 yrs
In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.
Bridge
2.5 - 3.5 yrs
As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.
Preschool
3 - 4 yrs
In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.
Pre-K
4 - 5 yrs

The staff is caring and professional, the environment is nurturing and educational, and my experience has been nothing but positive. The focus on individual growth and development is evident, and I trust them completely with my child’s learning and well-being. Therefore I rate it 10/10 for its excellent programs and warm atmosphere.
Both my kids have attended Goddard sugarhill and it has been a wonderful journey. Currently, my younger one is in Pre-K and she wakes up each day wanting to go to school and it has always been like this. She has loved each teacher and learns so much daily. We are surprised many times by what she says and so happy and pleased with her academic learning. Everyone is very caring and I know my daughter is well taken care of here.
All of the directors and teachers that we have encountered since our time at Goddard, have treated us like family. We absolutely adore this school.
We've had such a great experience at Goddard of Sugar Hill. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive. The curriculum has done wonders for our son's development and fostering both his creativity and social skills.
