GODDARD GOOD DEEDS: Operation T.H.E.R.E. “The Haitian Earthquake Relief Effort”
As you are aware? A 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck southern Haiti near the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince earlier this month causing a serious loss of life and catastrophic destruction. This is the most powerful earthquake to hit the Western Hemisphere’s poorest nation in the last century. Many of us are searching for ways to help provide relief to the people of Haiti. In an effort to help, The Goddard School located in Wilmington has offered to be a drop-off location for Operation T.H.E.R.E. “The Haitian Earthquake Relief Effort” led by Shoes2Share, a grassroots, charitable organization based in Wilmington. They have already started delivering supplies to Haiti, but more are needed! If you are interested in donating, please see the list below of shoe types and relief supplies that are needed. A drop box is in our lobby for donated goods.
Donate relief supplies:
Shoes: all types, colors, sizes, styles and condition (work boots needed).
