David Feakes, a personal family lawyer, will present information on planning for your family's future. Information will include a discussion on guardianship decisions to ensure your children never spend a moment in the care of strangers. This workshop will also help protect your child’s inheritance from creditors, lawyers and divorce and will ensure your hard earned money is immediately and privately available to your chosen guardians.

“Mad…Sad…Glad!”: Helping Young Children Deal with Strong Feelings: A major developmental challenge for toddlers and preschoolers is learning to manage intense emotions and impulses such as anger, frustration and disappointment. This workshop focuses on how we can help children learn to recognize their feelings, control impulses, calm down and express feelings appropriately. Topics may include dealing with tantrums, encouraging empathy, responding to aggressive behavior and helping children learn to assert themselves.
The workshop will be given by Deborah Weinstock-Savoy, a licensed psychologist with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Boston University and a B.A. in Psychology & Social Relations from Harvard University. With over 25 years of professional experience working with families and young children, she specializes in leading parenting workshops and support groups for various community organizations and schools.
