Lisa Kapili - Lisa is our Educational Director. Lisa received her Bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University in Child and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology. She joined the team before we opened in March of 2006 after working at The Goddard School® located in Hamilton for over six years. She has experience as an Assistant Director, Assistant Teacher, Curriculum Coordinator and a mother of two children. Her love for children, perseverance, hard work, dedication and attention to detail have made her an integral part of the smooth operation of our school. She is a wonderful mentor to the teachers; with great ideas and support for their programs. Lisa is well respected by the owners, faculty and parents. The children lover her and look forward to pushing the ever changing special buttons on her desk!
Miss Tonia - Miss Tonia is an Assistant Director and Head Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Lincoln University. She joined our school when we opened and has been a contagious source of enthusiasm for the entire faculty. Before joining us, Miss Tonia worked at the Newbury School in Maryland for two years as an Assistant Teacher for Toddlers through Pre-K and was a Head Preschool Teacher at The Goddard School® located in Hamilton for one year. Her outstanding ability to make learning fun, create exceptional lesson plans and love for every one of her students has made her an integral part of our faculty. She is well loved and respected by both parents and children.
Miss Ashlee - Miss Ashlee is an Assistant Director. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ramapo College and her teaching certification for Kindergarten to Fifth Grade and Grades Fifth to Eighth for Math. After working at The Goddard School in Ramsey while obtaining her degree, she began working with us in August of 2007 as the Head Teacher in our Preschool room. Her positive attitude, strong work ethic and genuine compassion for children were the foundation upon which her promotion to Assistant Director was based. She provides strong support for the Director and teachers and is loved by the children.
Miss Jess - Miss Jess is our Head Teacher in the Pre-K classroom and our Curriculum Coordinator. She joined us in January of 2007 and has been a keystone ever since. She obtained her Bachelor's degree from Salisbury University in 2005. She had worked with children ages five through eighteen at the Youth Services Agency in Maryland for a year and has also been a Camp Counselor and Mentor to elementary students. She has been a strong source of support to her fellow teachers. She loves working with children and her commitment to education, continuous hard work and dedication has made her very special to her students and our school.
Miss Dana - Miss Dana is the Head Teacher in our Infant class and obtained her Child Development Associates certificate in August of 2007. She joined the Goddard team the following September. Miss Dana had worked with children from infants to Pre-K for ten years before joining us. She loves every minute of working with the babies and finds it extremely rewarding. She provides exceptional routine care and forms relationships with every infant with great love, care and compassion. Her ability to communicate effectively with parents and her continued support of the needs of the school has made her very special to us.
