Ms. Kara is our outstanding employee of the month. She is always going above and beyond what is asked of her. The children and their families love her. She always has a smile on her face!
On-Site Owner - Peter Casberg is excited to be the new on-site owner at The Goddard School located in Shiloh! Pete has moved from Minnesota with his wife Nicky and two children to join The Goddard School. He is excited to continue to grow and bring a strong educational school to the area. Owner - Angela Gapp is very proud to be the Owner of The Goddard School® located in Shiloh, Illinois. As the parent of four children, Angela recognizes the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment. She has enjoyed working with children all of her life. Angela received a Master's degree in Early Childhood from the University of North Dakota, where she focused her studies on early childhood centers and learning through play. She is happy to be able to provide Goddard’s outstanding program to the children in the community and looks forward to the opportunity to meet you and your children.
Program Director - Nancy has an Associate's degree in Art from Southwestern Illinois College and looks forward to continuing her education in the near future. She has nine years of experience with children. She has been with The Goddard School for over four years.
Director of Education - Erin has an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. She has over seven years of childcare experience and has been with us for two years.
Infant Lead Teacher: Busy Bees Room - Emily is currently pursuing her Early Childhood Education degree. She has seven years of childcare experience.
Infant Assistant Teacher: Busy Bees Room - Beth has over four years of childcare experience. She has a degree in Early Childhood and has been with us for almost a year.
First Steps Lead Teacher: Cuddly Koala Room - Jenn has been working with children for over eleven years. She has an Associate's degree in Art and has been part of our team for two years.
Pre-Toddler Lead Teacher: Swimming Swans Classroom - Ashley has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She has over three years of childcare experience!
Pre-Toddler Assistant Teacher: Swimming Swans Classroom - Ms. Kourtney is very excited to be working with the young toddlers. You will often find her reading, singing or on the ground playing and teaching the young toddlers at the same time.
Toddler Lead Teacher: Friendly Ferret Classroom - Mitsue earned a degree in Early Childhood Education from Kyusyu Junior College of Kinki University of Japan. She has over three years of childcare experience and has been with The Goddard School for two years.
Toddler Assistant Teacher: Friendly Ferrets Classroom - Jessica has over four years of childcare experience. She has been with The Goddard School for three years.
Get Set Lead Teacher: Playful Peacocks Classroom - Ms. Monica has had several years experience with children. She enjoys getting down at the children's level in conversation and play. She is also happy to answer any questions you may have!
Get Set Assistant Teacher- Kara is one of our newest members of our team. She has her degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing a Master's degree. Kara has worked with children for years and is very excited to get to know everyone.
Preschool Lead Teacher: Happy Hummingbirds Classroom - Tiffany has a degree in Psychology. She has over ten years of childcare experience. She has been part of The Goddard School team for almost three years.
Preschool Assistant Teacher: Happy Hummingbirds Classroom - Chelsea is currently pursuing her CDA. She has been with us for almost two years and has over five years of childcare experience.
Preschool Lead Teacher: Wading Walrus Classroom - Anji has an Associate's degree in Elementary Education. She has over ten years of childcare experience. Anji will also be found in the front office in the mornings greeting children and parents!
Preschool Assistant Teacher: Wading Walrus Classroom - Brenda has her CDA. She has over nine years of childcare experience. She has a calm demeanor and respect for all children and parents.
Pre-K Teacher: Curious Penguin Classroom -
Amy is currently pursuing an Educational Study degree. She has over ten years of experience with working with children. Amy has been with us for a year and a half.
Pre-K Lead Teacher: Traveling Turtles Classroom - Ashley has her Elementary Education degree with a minor in Early Childhood Education. She is very excited to teach the students all the skills they need to learn for Kindergarten. She is also willing to answer any questions parents may have!
Pre-K Assistant Teacher: Traveling Turtles Classroom - Jonathan has over a year of childcare experience. He has a Bachelor's of Art degree. He is very excited to get to know all of the families at The Goddard School.
Resource Teacher: Various Classrooms - Alison is our newest member of The Goddard School team. She has been working with children for almost two years and is currently attending SLU. She looks forward to getting to know all of the families at The Goddard School!
