Employee of the Month: Ms. Brittany
Ms. Brittany is a new member of our team. She is very flexible and eager to get to know all of the children at the school.
Owner - Angela Gapp is very proud to be the Owner of The Goddard School® located in Shiloh, Illinois. As the parent of three children, Angela recognizes the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment. She has enjoyed working with children all of her life. Angela received a Master's degree in Early Childhood from the University of North Dakota, where she focused her studies on early childhood centers and learning through play. She is happy to be able to provide Goddard’s outstanding program to the children in the community and looks forward to the opportunity to meet you and your children.
Program Director - Nancy has an Associate's degree in Art from Southwestern Illinois College and looks forward to continuing her education in the near future. She has nine years of experience with children. She has been with The Goddard School for over three years.
Director - Jennifer has over ten years of childcare experience. She is currently pursuing a degree in Human Resource and Management. She has been with The Goddard School for six months.
Assistant Director - Jaime is currently pursuing an Elementary Education degree. She has been part of The Goddard School team for almost three years. She is very excited about being our Assistant Director!
Busy Bees Teacher (ages 6 weeks to 15 months) - Jessie is our Infant Teacher. She has over eight years of childcare experience and has recently joined The Goddard School team. Jessie has completed her Child Development Associate (CDA).
Cuddly Koalas Teacher (ages 15 to 20 months) - Holly has been with The Goddard School for almost a year. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and over four years of childcare experience.
Cuddly Koala Assistant Teacher (ages 15 months to 20 months) - Chelsea is currently working towards an Elementary Education degree and a CDA Certificate. She has been part of our team for a year and a half.
Swimming Swans Head Teacher (Ages 18 months to 24 months) - Ashley has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She has over three years of childcare experience and has recently joined our team!
Swimming Swan Assistant Teacher (ages 18 months to 24 months) - Alison has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She has three years of childcare experience and recently joined our team.
Friendly Ferret Head Teacher (Ages 24 months to 30 months) - Mitsue earned a degree in Early Childhood Education from Kyusyu Junior College of Kinki University of Japan. She has over three years of childcare experience and has been with The Goddard School for two years.
Friendly Ferrets Assistant Teacher (Ages 24 months to 30 months) - Jessica has over four years of childcare experience. She has been with The Goddard School for three years.
Playful Peacocks Teacher (ages 30 months to 36 months) - Michelle graduated from S.I.U.E. with a degree in Elementary Education. She has over seven years of childcare experience. Michelle has been part of our team for two and a half years.
Playful Peacocks Assistant Teacher (ages 30 months to 36 months) - Beth has over four years of childcare experience. She also has her Early Childhood Education degree. She has been with The Goddard School for six months.
Happy Hummingbird Head Teacher ( 3 year olds) - Tiffany has a degree in Psychology. She has over ten years of childcare experience. She has been part of The Goddard School team for almost three years.
Happy Hummingbird Assistant Teacher (3 year olds) - Brittany has an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. She has over a year of childcare experience and joined our team in 2009.
Wading Walrus Head Teacher (ages 3 & 4 years) - Erica has over four years of childcare experience. She has been with The Goddard School for two and a half years. She is currently pursuing her Elementary Education degree.
Wading Walrus Assistant Teacher (ages 3 & 4 years) - Jatonya has an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. She has three and a half years of childcare experience and joined our team almost a year ago.
Curious Penguin Head Teacher (Pre-K) - Alisha majored in Early Childhood Development and Education. She has over eleven years of childcare experience and has been with The Goddard School for two years.
Curious Penguin Assistant Teacher (Pre-K) - Christy has an Early Childhood Education degree. She has over five years of childcare experience. She has been part of our team for a year.
Traveling Turtles Teacher (Pre-K) - Phyllis has a Bachelor's degree in Education. She has over twenty-four years of educational experience. Phyllis joined our team in the middle of 2009.
Traveling Turtles Assistant Teacher (Pre-K) - Nichole has over two years of childcare experience. She has been with The Goddard School for a year and a half.
Floater - Carol has been with The Goddard School for two and a half years. She has over twenty-one years of childcare experience.
Floater - Cassie is currently pursuing an Elementary Education degree. She has over seven years of childcare experience and has been with The Goddard School for a year and a half.
Cook - Amelia has a Culinary Arts Certificate. She also has over a year of childcare experience and joined our team in mid 2009.
