Today is the start of our Goddard Community Games Week. Each Goddard School from around the United States will be participating in the same activities at the same times throughout the week. Today is Friendship Day! Today, we will begin creating our Community Flag! We will also form a Friendship Circle, sing friendship songs, and incorporate a Friendship Squeeze (similar to a fan wave)!

Play Along Day
Continuing with our Goddard Community Games Week, today is Play Along Day. Today children in the older classrooms will get together with the children in younger classrooms. They will work together during an activity, puzzle, game, or art project! At the end of the special "mentor" time, the children will "shake their sillies out" together to The Goddard School Play Along Song!

Goddard Good Deed Day
Continuing along with the Goddard Community Games Week, today is Goddard Good Deed Day! On this day, all Goddard Schools will participate in community outreach projects! Since February is Nutrition Month, our school has chosen to participate in a food drive! Please drop off any canned or non-perishable foods today only! And spread the word... our goal is to donate 300 items!

Goddard Cares Day
Goddard Cares Postcards will be sent home with each child for each child and their families to decorate! This project will benefit the US service men and women. Please do not use any craft items that will stick off the postcard (glitter, feathers, sequins, etc). Please stick to crayons, markers, pencils, stickers, photos, etc). The goal for all Goddard Schools is to collect 25,000 Postcard!

Today is the final day of the Goddard Community Games Week. Today, we have invited our Goddard School families along with other families from our community to come play and join the fun. We will have plenty of games for children of all ages. Including Baby Ball, Frog Food, Musical Chairs, Parachute Popcorn, and Over-Under.

Each child will be given a straw. The teacher will shake up a small amount of milk and pour the milk bubbles onto each child's paper. The children will blow through their straws to push around the milk bubbles to create a unique design!
