Employee of the Month: Aileen R.
Ms. Aileen is the wonderful Lead Teacher of our Amazing Guppies Room! She has been chosen The Teacher of the Month, due to her amazing ability to adapt and adjust to the needs of the infants in her class. She goes above and beyond every day to ensure that they are in a positive, engaging, and nurturing environment. So we celebrate Ms. Aileen for the month of May!
All of our teachers are assets to our School - Our teachers are First AID/CPR certified and continue their childcare training through Goddard University courses, workshops and seminars.
Director -
Ms Martha is originally from South Carolina and is pursuing a Master's degree in Education. She has several years of experience working in the field of education, having worked in public schools and preschools. Ms Martha is a wonderful mentor to our teachers and has great ideas to both challenge and engage our students. Her energy and enthusiasm for the Goddard program make her a true asset to our School.
Guppies (Infant 1) -
Ms. Aileen is a Lead teacher in the Glorious Guppies classroom. She has worked with a preschool for over three years and helped to raise her nephew who is now six years old. Ms. Aileen believes that teachers should provide children a nurturing, safe and healthy environment to develop and grow in every way, socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically.
Ms. Katherine is an assistant teacher in the Glorious Guppies classroom. She is currently pursuing a degree in Sociology. Ms Katherine believes that by creating a positive environment, children will thrive in an atmosphere where they feel comfortable. Ms Katherine's warm smiles and enthusiasm keep all of us smiling at our School.
Ms. Ebelia is a teacher in the Glorious Guppies classroom. She has been in the childcare field for a number of years now. She is first-aid and CPR certified. Ms. ‘Eby’ as she is popularly known, believes that teaching and taking care of children is very rewarding and that each child should be made to feel special.
Ms. Tracy is a teacher in the Guppies classroom. She has worked in the childcare industry for over five years now. Ms. Tracy has also worked in the special education department in the public school system.
Tadpoles (First steps) -
Ms Renee is a Lead Teacher in our Terrific Tadpoles classroom. She has degree in accounting and is currently in the process of getting her CDA certification. Ms. Renee has over fifteen years of experience in childcare. She believes in making every child feel important and providing a safe and nurturing environment for their growth.
Ms. Danielle is excited to be an assistant teacher in the Terrific Tadpoles. Ms. Danielle is currently pursuing a degree in nursing. She is first aid and CPR certified. Ms Danielle enjoys working with children and believes that the most important thing a teacher can do for children is to provide them a safe environment and an opportunity to grow to their full potential.
Frogs (Pre-Toddlers) -
Ms. Maleeha is our Lead Teacher in the Fantastic Frogs room. She has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Ms Maleeha has worked for a number of years in the childcare field. She feels one of the most important things a teacher can do is make a difference in a child's life.
Ms. Krista is the Co-Lead Teacher in the Fantastic Frogs classroom. She is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology. She believes that every child is unique. Ms. Krista feels that teachers need to provide a safe yet fun environment for children to learn and grow to their full potential.
Ms. Danielle is excited to be an Assistant Teacher in the Terrific Tadpoles. Ms.
Danielle is currently pursuing a degree in nursing. She is first aid and
CPR certified. Ms Danielle enjoys working with children and believes
that the most important thing a teacher can do for children is to
provide them a safe environment and an opportunity to grow to their full
potential.
Dolphins (Toddlers) -
Ms. Angie is our terrific Co-Lead Teacher in our Dynamic Dolphins classroom. Ms. Angie has over twelve years of experience in childcare and is a veteran teacher in our Starfish classroom. She is First Aid/CPR and MAT certified and has experience working with special needs children. Currently, Ms. Angie is pursuing her CDA with specification in Infant and Toddler education. Ms. Angie's warm smiles and big hugs have comforted children, parents and teachers alike!
Ms. Shalik is a Co-Lead Teacher in our Dolphins room. She has over five years experience working with young children and adults with special needs. Ms. Shalik is presently in school. She enjoys teaching children self-help skills.
Starfish (Toddlers) -
Ms Chamaine is a Lead Teacher in our Super Starfish classroom. Ms. Chamaine has over nine years of experience working with young children. She was an assistant director for a preschool for three years before she moved to the Stafford area. Ms. Chamaine has attended early childhood education classes and has obtained her CDA.
Ms Nidia is thrilled to be Co-Lead Teacher of the Super Starfish Class. She has been working with children for over ten years and taught children ranging in age from infancy through elementary school.
Ms. Manuella has been with The Goddard School since January 2011. She is currently majoring in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Manuela has been in the childcare field for eight years and has experience working with special needs children in childcare settings.
Clownfish (Pre-school) -
Ms. Justine is a Lead Teacher in our Curious Clownfish classroom. Ms. Justine has been with The Goddard School® for over two years and is currently awaiting assessment for her CDA. She is First Aid/CPR and MAT certified. Ms. Justine's warm and caring nature make her a naturally wonderful caregiver and a fantastic teacher.
Ms Nicole is excited to be a teacher in the Curious Clownfish classroom. She is currently pursuing a degree in Child and Family Development. Ms. Nicole has over seven years of experience in the childcare industry. Ms. Nicole is passionate about equipping each child with all the necessary skills for their development, life and school success. We look forward to her fun and exciting ideas.
Rainbowfish (Pre-K) -
Ms. Veronica is a Lead Teacher in our Rainbowfish classroom. Ms. Veronica has been with our Goddard School for over six years. She is a graduate of Intellitec Medical Institute and holds her Associate Degree in Nursing. Ms. Veronica is currently pursuing her B.A. in Nursing. Ms. Veronica is CPR/First Aid and MAT certified. She has experience working with children who require an individual education plan. Ms. Veronica is our Teacher of the Year for a second year in a row.
Ms Maria is a Co-Lead teacher in the Rainbowfish room. She is currently pursuing a degree in early Childhood development. Ms. Maria's calm and patient demeanor makes her popular with the children.
Sea Turtles (Pre-K) -
Ms. Kelly is the Lead Teacher in the Superior Sea Turtles room. She has a CDA certification and has more than eight years experience as a preschool teacher, two years working as a teacher's assistant in the Prince William County School system and one year working as a Spanish teacher at an Elementary School. Her goal is to help children discover their potential and individuality through hands-on experience and creative learning. We look forward to her fun-filled and educational ideas.
Whales (School agers) -
Ms Yolanda is the Lead Teacher of our Before & After School Enrichment program. She is First Aid and CPR certified. Ms Yolanda is pursuing a degree in Social Science. She has worked with children in a preschool for a number of years. Ms. Yolanda believes that Teachers have the opportunity to change the world, one life at a time and she feels privileged to be able to take part in the process.
