ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
We are proud to offer the following enrichment programs to all of our students at no additional cost to our parents:
Sign Language: Our children are learning American Sign Language. Beginning with our infants, children learn to communicate in Sign through the use of songs, games, stories, and active play.
Spanish: Children are excited about the fun and educational language program we offer at The Goddard School®. This introductory program uses a multitude of interesting games, songs, and activities to expose children to the Spanish language and culture.
Yoga: This cross-curricular learning experience helps young children improve focus, balance, creativity, flexibility, body awareness, and control.
World Cultures and Geography: The World Cultures and Geography program promotes awareness and understanding of our culturally diverse world through age-appropriate games, crafts and songs.
Building Language for Literacy: This language program developed by Scholastic® is geared for literacy development in the early child years. The program uses fun-loving characters to focus on the fundamentals of literacy. Children gain critical language and literacy skills to build a foundation for success in reading.
Handwriting Without Tears: This developmentally-based program uses entertaining and educationally sound multisensory teaching tools and instructional methods to teach handwriting to children in our preschool and private pre-kindergarten programs.
Goddard Guide to Getting Along: Children of all ages have the opportunity to acquire essential skills such as friendship, compassion, cooperation and kindness! Children participate in age-appropriate activities to develop and build their skill on an individual and group level.
PRIVATE PRE-KINDERGARTEN
Our Private Pre-Kindergarten provides the foundation to nurture your child’s Lifelong Love of Learning®. A small group setting provides an opportunity for children to develop their natural curiosity with a wide range of enriching activities, and build their self-confidence by allowing them to progress at their own pace. We currently have enrollment availability in our private Pre-Kindergarten classroom. Please call us today for details about this outstanding program.
PRE-KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION CEREMONY
On Saturday, June 9th, The Goddard School located in Stafford will hold our Annual Pre-K Graduation. The festivities will begin at 9:00 a.m.. Each graduating student will receive a cap, gown, tassel, announcements and of course, a diploma! A pot-luck lunch will follow in the exploration area. Plan to join us to commemorate each student's achievement.
JOIN THE PTO!
The PTO at Goddard is a great way to get involved at your child's School. The group was formed primarily for the benefit and support of the wonderful faculty in Stafford. Meetings are held quarterly. The PTO is also a great way to meet fellow parents and join in the fun at the various sponsored events. If you are interested, please contact Ms. Martha.
SHARE THE GOOD NEWS
Refer a friend to The Goddard School located in Stafford and receive a $200.00 credit toward your tuition for a full-time child after their third month at our School and a $100.00 credit for a part-time enrollee! Please contact the management for further details.
