Jody Agaman: On-site Owner- Along with her husband John, Jody is the on site owner of The Goddard School
located in Sparks. Jody earned her Bachelor’s degree in Child
Development from California State University, Northridge and has worked
with children for the past 28 years. Jody’s experience has made her
aware of the significance of providing a quality preschool setting with
caring and professional teachers. As a parent, Jody recognizes the
importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment. Jody is
passionate about providing your child with a warm, nurturing environment
that enhances their natural desire to learn with a curriculum that
challenges, stimulates and supports every aspect of their developmental
growth. She is happy to be able to provide Goddard’s outstanding program
to the children of the Sparks community. She thanks you ahead of time

John Agaman: On-site Owner- Along with his wife Jody, John is the on site owner of The Goddard School located in Sparks. John earned his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Northridge. After an extensive background in management/customer service and working with children as a coach, he wanted to operate a business that played an important role in the community by providing an exceptional service for children. John is very excited to own a business that is centered on his most important priority –people and family. He is proud to be a part of The Goddard School and is committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for the children in this neighborhood. John looks forward to getting to know you and your family as well as being a part of the community.
Miss Nikki: Executive Director- Nikki has been the Director since February 2008, when the School opened. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Child Development from Sacramento State University. Nikki’s background includes over seven years of experience working in preschool and childcare settings. Before coming to Goddard, she was a curriculum and youth program coordinator as well as a school-age lead teacher. She is very thankful to be part of a team that is fully dedicated to the overall well being of the children and their development. Nikki looks forward to many happy times with you and your children. Miss Nikki continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Mrs. Heather: Education Director- Heather joined The Goddard School in June of 2010 as the Education Director. Prior to that, she was the director of a large school for eight and half years. Heather attended San Jose State University on a softball scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She originally planned to teach elementary school, but fell in love with preschool and became a director in January of 2002. She is extremely excited to be part of such a professional team and looks forward to the long-lasting relationships that will develop with both the children and families within our center. Mrs. Heather continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Mrs. Becki: Lead Teacher- Infants (Bunnies)- Becki joined The Goddard School in February of 2011. She is currently enrolled at Truckee Meadows Community College to continue her Early Childhood Education degree. Becki has three wonderful children and enjoys spending her extra time with them in the outdoors. She is very thrilled to become part of a program that is dedicated to the education of young children, and to create the beginnings of a great educational path. Mrs. Becki continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Miss Candace: Assistant Teacher- Infants (Bunnies)- Candace joined The Goddard School in February of 2011. She is currently enrolled at Truckee Meadows Community College to complete her Criminal Justice degree. Candace has spent time in an elementary school setting and has been particularly excited to be in our infant room. Candace is happy to be a part of a program that understands the development of children and to provide the infants with a nurturing and loving environment. Miss Candace continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Miss Missy: Lead Teacher- First Steps (Deer)- Missy joined The Goddard School in August of 2011. She has been working with children professionally for the last seven years, both as a nanny and as a teacher’s aide. Missy is currently attending Truckee Meadows Community College to pursue her degree in Early Childhood Education. She is extremely excited to be working at The Goddard School and is grateful for the opportunity to meet you and your children. Miss Missy continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Miss Bailey: Assistant Teacher- First Steps (Deer) - Bailey joined The Goddard School in August of 2010. She will be attending Truckee Meadows Community College to work towards her teaching license. She would like to become a Kindergarten teacher, and chose The Goddard School because it will provide her the experience she will need to follow her career path. Bailey is very excited to be part of a program designed to create an environment for the love of learning. Miss Bailey continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Miss Stacy: Lead Teacher- Toddler 1 (Turtles) Stacy joined The Goddard School in October of 2011. She recently graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with her Bachelor of Science in Special Education and a minor in Developmental Disabilities. Stacy enjoys spending time with her family, listening to country music, reading and baking. Miss Stacy continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Miss Elysia: Assistant Teacher- Toddler 1 (Turtles)- Elysia joined The Goddard School in August of 2010. She plans to continue her education in the field of Early Childhood. Elysia is from a big extended family and she spends her spare time with them. She loves kids and is very excited to be here at The Goddard School. Miss Elysia continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Miss Amber: Assistant Teacher- Toddler 2/Get Set (Squirrels)- Amber joined The Goddard School in September of 2010. She comes to The Goddard School with five years of experience in a childcare environment. Amber has developed a great love of teaching younger children, and is very excited to be working for The Goddard School. She wants to always create a fun learning environment. Ms. Amber continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Miss Melisa: Lead Teacher- Preschool 1 (Raccoons)- Melisa joined The Goddard School when we opened in February of 2008. She has her Child Development Associates (CDA) certificate, and has been teaching early childhood education for eleven years. Melisa is currently enrolled at Truckee Meadows Community College where she is a pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Administration in Preschool with an emphasis in Infant/Toddler. Melisa is glad to be part of The Goddard School. Melisa loves the challenge of potty training, which thrills the parents when they see the success and growth in their child! Miss Melisa continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Miss Mona: Assistant Teacher- Preschool 1 (Raccoons) - Mona joined The Goddard School in May of 2008, close to when we first opened. She just had her first child, and enjoys spending time with him and the rest of her family. Mona is very happy to be part of a program that shows how much they care and love the children unconditionally. She values this as an important step to a child’s development and security. Miss Mona continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Miss Joncie: Lead Teacher- Preschool 2 (Mountain Lions)- Joncie comes to The Goddard School with nine years of experience as a preschool teacher. She received her Early Childhood Education Associate’s degree from Yuba College in Marysville, California. Joncie has three wonderful children of her own and enjoys spending her free time with them. She is very excited to be part of a preschool program designed around children’s developmental, cognitive and emotional needs. Miss Joncie continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Miss Jessi: Assistant Teacher- Preschool 2 (Mountain Lions) Jessi joined The Goddard School in October of 2011. She graduated from the Channel Islands University in Camarillo, California with a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and a minor in Psychology. Jessi hopes to one day fulfill her dreams and become a children’s book writer. Jessi chose to work for The Goddard School because she feels this School is a positive environment for the children and the staff. Miss Jessi continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Miss Bree: Lead Teacher- Pre-Kindergarten (Blue Jays)- Bree joined the Goddard School when we opened in February of 2008. She is currently enrolled at Truckee Meadows Community College to complete her degree in Early Childhood Education. Bree has eleven years of experience as a preschool teacher, and is excited to work with children and teach them new things on a daily basis. Bree chose to work for the Goddard School because she feels this school is a positive environment for the children and the staff. Miss Bree continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Miss Jennifer: Assistant Teacher- Pre-Kindergarten (Bluejays) - Jennifer joined The Goddard School in May of 2011. She has two years' experience in a preschool setting and ten years of life experience with young children. Jennifer has three beautiful children and enjoys spending her free time doing fun activities as a family. She is thrilled to be a part of this amazing school. As a parent, she understands the importance of a solid foundation for a child’s future. She truly believes in The Goddard School’s guiding principles and feels honored to be able to share them with your children. Miss Jennifer continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Mrs. Nikki: Lead Teacher- Junior Kindergarten (Fish)- Nikki joined the Goddard School in September of 2008. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in both Early Childhood Education and Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Nevada, Reno. Nikki has been in the early childhood field for ten years and has worked with children up to the age of six. She enjoys working with children because she finds it exciting to watch as their eyes light up when they learn new things. Nikki also believes that the children will teach her just as much as she will teach them. Mrs. Nikki continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Mrs. Maritza: Assistant Teacher- Junior Kindergarten (Fish)- Maritza joined The Goddard School in August of 2008. She is currently enrolled at Truckee Meadows Community College to complete her Early Child Education degree. Maritza had the opportunity to volunteer for two years in preschool, Kindergarten and first grade classrooms prior to coming to Goddard. She is happy to be a part of the Goddard family. Mrs. Maritza continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Mrs. Jamie: Teacher Kindergarten (Bears)- Jamie joined the Goddard School in July of 2009. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno. Jamie is currently enrolled at Truckee Meadow Community College to continue her education in Early Childhood Education. She has spent several years working with individuals ranging in ages afflicted with autism, developmental disabilities, mental, and behavioral disorders. Jamie enjoys teaching Kindergarten and is excited every day to see the excitement in her children’s eyes. This will be Jamie’s 3rd year of teaching Kindergarten at The Goddard School. Mrs. Jamie continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Miss Kaylee: Administrative Assistant- Kaylee joined The Goddard School in February of 2008. She recently graduated from California State University, Chico, with a degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Public Relations. She assists the owners and directors in the offices and at times will help out in the classrooms. She has experience working in a preschool along with being a nanny. She enjoys teaching children of all ages and loves watching them develop in their own special ways. Miss Kaylee continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Miss Zaray: Flex Teacher- Zaray joined The Goddard School in August of 2009. She is currently enrolled at Truckee Meadow Community College to pursue her degree in Dental Pediatrics. Zaray has worked in the preschool field for five years. She is very excited to be able to experience hands-on development of children from six weeks to six years old. Miss Zaray continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Mrs. Simone: Flex Teacher- Simone joined The Goddard School in May of 2011. She is currently attending Truckee Meadow Community College to receive her degree in Early Childhood Education. Simone has worked with children of all ages in a preschool setting. She has three beautiful children and enjoys spending her time with them cooking and reading. Simone is very thrilled to become part of a program that is dedicated to the education of young children. Mrs. Simone continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
Miss Lauren: Flex Teacher- Lauren joined The Goddard School in June of 2011. She is currently enrolled at the University of Reno, Nevada to pursue her degree in Elementary Education. She is very excited to be part of a program that can help develop children’s education based on their development. Miss Lauren continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified and has completed a background check with the Washoe County Sheriff Department.
