Ms. Ashley - Assistant Infant Teacher (Joey Room) Ms. Ashley joined our School in 2012. She is persuing a Bachelor's degree from the Grand Canyon university in ECE and Elementary Education. She has her Associates degree from TMCC. Ms. Ashley continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU). She is CPR and first aid certified.
Ms. Jaimie - Lead One-Year-Old Teacher (Penguin Room) - Ms. Jaimie joined The Goddard School in 2011. She has five years' experience teaching at a Montessori school as well as experience in various other schools working with many different age groups. Ms. Jaimie obtained her Bachelor's degree in Health and Human Development with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from Montana State University. Ms. Jaimie continues her education through Goddard Systems University (CS). She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Ms. Krystal - Assistant One-Year-Old Teacher (Penguin Room) - Ms.Krystal joined our school in March 2012. She has her Associate's degree in ECE from Lake Tahoe Community College. Ms.Krystal has over ten years' experience working with infants and toddlers. She continues her education through Goddard University (GSU); she is CPR and First Aid certified.
Ms. Ronda - Lead One-Year-Old Teacher (Panda Room) - Ms. Ronda joined The Goddard School in 2009. She is pursuing her Associate’s degree in early childhood education at TMCC. Ms. Rhonda has worked in the childcare field for over eighteen years. She continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Ms. Lorena - Flex Teacher (Infant/Toddler) Ms. Lorena joined the Goddard family in 2010. She majored in Early Childhood Education at a local college and accumulated many credits. Ms. Lorena has over 15 years’ experience teaching Infant to Kindergarten in a private sector. Ms. Lorena continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Ms. Allison - Flex Teacher Ms. Allison joined our School in 2012. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in German Studies and English Literature from the University of Nevada, Reno. Ms. Allison has experience as a nanny and preschool teacher working with toddlers. She continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and first aid certified.

Ms. Heather - Flex Teacher (Toddler/Preschool) Ms. Heather has been working at The Goddard School since 2009. Ms. Heather was a nanny for five years and provided in-home daycare for a little over a year. She has over thirteen years’ experience with children ages newborn to eight years old. Ms. Heather continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Ms. Crissy - Lead Preschool Teacher (Giraffe Room) and Infant Toddler Director Ms. Crissy has her Bachelor's degree in early childhood education and human development family studies. She has been with our School since 2008. Ms. Crissy began studying sign language this past year and looks forward to learning more. Ms. Crissy continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Ms. Jessica - Assistant Preschool Teacher (Giraffe Room) - Ms.Jessica joined our School in September 2011; she received her Bachelor's degree from Cal Poly, Pomona in Graphic Design. While attending school, she worked with children teaching gymnastics. Ms.Jessica is in the process of completing work to obtain her CDA. She continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU); she is CPR and First Aid Certified.
Ms. Nina - Lead Preschool Teacher (Fox Room) - Ms. Nina has been working at The Goddard School since 2010. For many years she has volunteered alongside her mother at the private school she directed until she was old enough to work there herself. Ms. Nina attended school for child development and dance. Later, she became a dance instructor and started a child/youth dance team called T.A.G.G. For the past two years, Ms. Nina has worked at two elementary schools, as a reading comprehension leader and an after-school curriculum and enrichment leader. She will be starting her Bachelor’s degree program in the near future. Ms. Nina continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Ms. Charlene - Assistant Preschool Teacher (Fox Room) - Ms. Charlene joined The Goddard School in 2010. She has always loved spending time playing with and learning alongside young children. Ms. Charlene has a lot of childcare experience babysitting as well as working in centers. She has been pursuing her Early Childhood Education (ECE) degree at TMCC and has been active in extracurricular activities related to ECE. Ms. Kirstie-Kate - Co-Lead Pre-K Teacher (Polar Bear Room) - Ms. Kirstie-Kate joined the School in 2010. She has her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Speech Communication from the University of Nevada Reno. Her interest in HDFS Early Childhood was sparked by her passion for ballet. Ms. Kirstie-Kate started teaching a young group of ballerinas and it opened her eyes to teaching younger children. Ms. Kirstie-Kate also shares her love for dance in the classroom as the School’s dance instructor. She continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Ms. Nina - Co-Lead Pre-K Teacher (Polar Bear Room) - Ms. Nina has been working at The Goddard School since 2009. She has worked as a camp counselor for five summers in New York State as well as an after-school program counselor. Ms. Nina studied abroad in Adelaide, Australia for one semester studying early childhood education. She is currently pursuing an Associate’s degree in early childhood education at TMCC and will soon transfer to the University of Nevada Reno to obtain her Bachelor’s degree. Ms. Nina continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Education at Florida State University. Ms. Patti has over eight years of preschool teaching experience. Ms. Patti continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Ms. Samantha - Co-Lead Pre-K Teacher (Eagle Room) - Ms.Samantha joined our School in November 2011. She graduated with a dual degree in Human Development and Family Studies. Ms.Samantha has worked in the ECE field since 2006; she also has her license in ECE which certifies her to teach children from birth to 8 years of age.
Ms. Sara B. - Kindergarten Teacher (Explorer Room) Ms. Sara has been working at the School since 2009. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nevada Reno in Elementary Education and Special Education. For the past six years, she has worked as a Kindergarten teacher in a full-day program and a first grade teacher in the private sector. Ms. Sara continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Ms. Kelly - Assistant Kindergarten Teacher (Explorer Room)- Ms. Kelly has been working with The Goddard School since 2010. She is currently working on her Early Childhood Education degree at TMCC. Ms. Kelly worked with children through several different child ministries with Grace Church, Teen Mops and various summer programs. Ms. Kelly continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Mr. Nathan - Flex Teacher (Pre-K/Kindergarten) Mr. Nathan joined our School in March 2011. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University of Nevada, Reno. Mr. Nathan has been interacting with children for the past twelve years. Mr.Nathan enjoys playing and learning alongside children at church as well as with the City of Reno as a supervisor at various after school programs. Mr. Nathan continues his education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. He is CPR and First Aid certified.
Anna Espinosa - Education Director - Ms. Anna joined The Goddard School family in 2008 and joined our School in 2010. She has been very fortunate to have the opportunity to be a part of so many wonderful teaching experiences including teacher, director and assisting parents as a family service specialist for Head Start. Her professional journey started by majoring in Child Development for two years at a California Junior College where she was mentored by brilliant professors. Not long after, Ms. Anna obtained her Child Development Credential and is looking forward to enrolling in classes at The University of Nevada Reno to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies. Ms. Anna volunteers for many community programs to remain updated on current issues pertaining to Early Childhood. Ms. Anna continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Kathy Olivea - Operations Director - Ms. Kathy has been with our School since opening in 2008. She achieved her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. After graduating, she became a manager at a childcare center where she was teaching. Ms. Kathy moved to Reno to pursue her Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nevada, Reno. Ms. Kathy is a volunteer at The American Red Cross and also tutors students K-8 in math and reading. She is also a part of "Pi Lambda Theta," a national society for educators. Ms. Kathy continues her education through Goddard Systems University (GSU) classes. She is CPR and First Aid certified.
Chelli and Ryan Motherway, On-site Owners - We are the owners and business administrators of The Goddard School® located in beautiful South Reno. We are proud and excited to offer a high quality preschool program to Reno families. Both of our children are graduates of The Goddard School and, as parents, we understand the importance of a positive, high quality program for young children and strive to deliver that to the children in our School. Chelli's background includes over a decade of human resource management experience for various large corporations. She graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with a degree in Business Administration. Ryan's background includes over a decade of industrial distribution experience. He received his undergraduate degree in Economics from UCLA and his MBA from Case Western University.
