Welcome to The Goddard School® located in South Kingstown, Rhode Island!
We are Gina and Clay Johnson, the on-site owners in South Kingstown, and we are very excited to announce that we opened our doors on August 21, 2006.
The Goddard School® can make a positive difference in your child's life. Our warm, loving atmosphere features a year round extended day program from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our program is designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual, and physical development of your child from six weeks to six years of age. We also offer an after-school program for children in grade two or younger.
We recognize that each child is unique and we encourage the expression of individuality in an environment suited to the development of self-esteem, confidence, imagination, and a desire to learn! Our curriculum includes: Spanish, Sign Language, Physical Fitness & Nutrition, Yoga, Music Appreciation, Art History, and our very own Goddard Guide to Getting Along.
We have degreed lead teachers and a professionally trained staff who provide a loving and nurturing environment. Your child’s growth and development are highlighted on our daily lesson plans, which our staff bring to life in appropriate and attainable ways. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their individual needs and abilities.
Our state-of-the-art custom designed building has been planned to provide a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment. Two separate playgrounds have been designed to challenge and delight your child at every age.
