Owner - Ms. Nillie - Welcome to The Goddard School® located in Snellville. Ms. Nillie and her husband, Mr. Karim, have been married since 1991. She has a Master’s degree in Pharmacy and Computer Sciences and is the proud mom of two children. Prior to becoming the owner of this School, Nillie spent many years working in research for pharmaceutical companies, and customer relationship management and quality assurance positions for start-up and multi-national software companies. She has a great love for children and wants to help children succeed in every way. She is actively involved in the classrooms, field trips and festivals. In addition, Ms. Nillie is actively involved in helping her children’s organized sports teams. When she is not at School, she enjoys spending time with her family, sports and traveling.
Program Coordinator - Ms. Nicole S. - Ms. Nicole truly enjoys working with children and has been doing so since 1996. She joined The Goddard School family in 2007. She graduated from Mercy College with a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science. Upon obtaining this degree, she worked with children transitioning from foster care, as well as educating parents on positive and effective parenting skills. She believes that children must have a learning experience that is hands-on, enjoyable and challenging - they will inevitably want to learn more. Ms. Nicole appreciates the opportunity be a part of The Goddard School family and to work with you and your child.
Infants - Ms. Kimmie - Ms. Kimmie has been teaching in early childhood education since 2001 and has been with The Goddard School located in Snellville since 2007. She creates a nurturing yet stimulating environment for the children in her classroom by singing songs, providing love and ensuring that each child's individual needs are met. She teaches each baby in her care based on close observation of their development and behavior.
Infants - Ms. Rena - Ms. Rena has been in early childhood education for over 20 years. Ms. Rena believes that "every child is special in their own way.” Ms. Rena enjoys teaching young children and believes children learn best in a hands-on environment. Ms. Rena believes that "education is the best gift you can give a child."
Pre-Toddlers - Ms. Michelle O. - Ms. Michelle has been working with children since her teenage years as a volunteer, but has only taken her passion to the classroom in the last few years. Ms. Michelle graduated from John Jay College with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and joined the Goddard School Family in 2008. She loves working with children and feels especially privileged to be educating our future leaders. She believes that each child is different and, as educators, we should take every measure necessary to reach each child. Ms. Michelle receives great pleasure and rewards working with children every day while working on children's vocabulary skills, social skills and stimulating their imaginations.
Toddlers - Ms. Yetta - Ms. Yetta has worked in early care and education since 1997 and has been with The Goddard School since 2007. Ms. Yetta has a diploma in Early Care and Childhood Education and has gone back to college to pursue an advanced degree in Early Childhood Education. She’s very happy to be a part of The Goddard School and welcomes the opportunity to be a part of your child’s life! Ms. Yetta says that building self-esteem, confidence and positive social skills are important and constantly incorporates character-building activities into lessons or daily class experiences.
Preschool - Ms. Dorothy - Ms. Dorothy has been with The Goddard School family since 2007 and has taught in the early childhood education field since 1995. Ms. Dorothy has a Bachelor of Science degree in English from Alabama State College and a Child Development Associate's degree. She believes in engaging children in a fun, loving environment with hands-on activities to teach them cognitive and social-emotional skills.
Pre-K - Ms. Adrian - Ms. Adrian has been educating young children for the past 21 years. She joined The Goddard School family in 2007 with a lot of L.E.T. – Love for children, Experience and Training. She holds credentials in a Child Development Associate and her training includes NAEYC, ECERS, and Developmentally Appropriate Guidance for Young Children.
She has exhibited a close relationship with her students encouraging them every step of the way. She introduces each child to the wonderful world of reading and takes them on a journey through learning every day.
Kindergarten - Ms. Nicole H. - Ms. Nicole (aka Ms. Nikki) has been in the early childhood field since 1998 and with Goddard Schools since 2007. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Emory University in Psychology. She is currently continuing her education to obtain a Master’s in Education. Ms. Nicole believes that teachers get the wonderful opportunity to lay the framework in a child's cognitive development. She strives to prepare her students for the next level in their academic career.
After School - Ms. Misty - Ms. Misty has been teaching young children since 2005 and has been with The Goddard School family since 2007. She is attending college to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Misty has found that she loves working with children and finds education extremely important. Ms. Misty’s sense of humor and creativity makes learning a natural process. Ms. Misty truly enjoys working at The Goddard School!
