Ms. Rebekah (Director) Rebekah came to our School in May of 2011. Ms. Rebekah earned both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Alabama. Her background includes experience working for the Department of Human Resources. She is happy to be a part of the Goddard School family and for the opportunity to teach young children. “It has been a wonderful experience working at The Goddard School,” says Rebekah.
Mrs. Renee (Assistant Director) Mrs. Renee started with our School in 2010, and has now taken on the role of Assistant Director. She loves visiting and helping in each classroom while watching all of the children grow. Originally from New York, she has been here in Georgia with us for the past seven years. Mrs. Renee is a true asset to our School and helps everyone stay on task and organized!
Mrs. Mandie (Business Manager/Bookkeeper) Mrs. Mandie started with the School in August 2010 as an Assistant Teacher in our infant room. She has since served as a floater, assisting in all of our classrooms. Her background in administrative management and accounting has equipped her for her current role as our Business Manager and Bookkeeper. She has a passion for helping families. She also works as a Doula and helps families bring more miracles into the world.
Ms. Raiya (Summer Director) Ms. Raiya has joined our team and is excited about the upcoming opportunities and changes that the summer will bring. She has a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, and is about to pursue a master's in childhood administration. She has a vast array of experience in the childcare field and we are very excited to have her on board at The Goddard School.
Eugenia G. (Lobster) Ms. Eugenia is our teacher in the Preschool 1 room, she has been with us since July 2010. Ms. Eugenia was born and raised here in Atlanta, Georgia. She is currently pursuing her degree in Early Childhood Education at Mercer University. Ms. Eugenia has 9 years experience in the early childhood education field. In her spare time she likes to travel, sing and spend time with her four-year-old son!
Jacinta S. (Lobsters) - Ms. Jacinta is the assistant teacher in our Preschool 1 room, she has been with us since August 2010. Ms. Jacinta comes to us after being a nanny for 4 years, she says that she knew she had a passion for teaching and had to continue it with us at The Goddard School! She is a proud mother of 2 girls!
Sandra P. (Starfish) - Mrs. Sandra is our teacher in the Preschool 2 room, she has been with us since July 2010. She has been in the early childcare field for over 10 years. Mrs. Sandra is a married mother of four wonderful children! She truly loves working with the preschoolers and enjoys watching them learn. She also loves reading, knitting, crocheting and sewing!
Darrita R. (Seahorse) - Ms. Darrita is our assistant teacher in the Starfish room and she has been with us since July 2010. Ms. Darrita has a B.S. in Fine Art/Graphic Design from Washington State University. She decided to devote her energy into teaching children which she truly enjoys! She is originally from Bellevue, Washington. In her free time Darrita enjoys spending time with her husband and two children!
Janice W. (Dolphins) - Ms. Janice is our assistant teacher in the Pre-Kindergarten room and she has been with us since July 2010. Ms. Janice has over 8 years experience in the early childhood education field. Ms. Janice loves teaching and is very passionate about children's learning and development. Ms. Janice was born and raised in Chicago, and currently resides in Smyrna, GA, with her husband, and in her spare time she enjoys poetry, reading, photography and shopping!
Mrs. Haemwathee D. (Jellyfish) Mrs. Haemwathee, affectionately known as Mrs. Beena, is our Private Kindergarten teacher, she has been with us since February 2011. Mrs. Beena is an internationally certified educator in the state of Georgia; she attended the University of Natal in South Africa, where she graduated with her BA in Education. She is currently in the process of receiving her third certification with the state of Georgia in Preschool through Fifth grades. Mrs. Beena has over 20 years of teaching experience which spans from elementary, middle and high school. She believes that engaging students with hands-on activities results in fun and learning simultaneously. Mrs. Beena is married and has two sons, she loves to travel and her favorite children's books are Night Tree and Rainbow Fish.
Ms. Camille N. (Beluga) Ms. Camille is our teacher in the Beluga room, she has been with us since September 2010. She earned her degree from Michigan State University. During her time at MSU, she was placed on the National Deans List and had many honorable mentions in her department. She served as a member of Phi Epsilon Kappa and has also completed 90 hours of course-work in Child Development and Child Psychology. She is currently completing her Doctorate degree at Life University. Ms. Camille was born and raised in Michigan and before coming to The Goddard School, worked in the Flint Public school systems in Michigan. She is the mother of a very smart and witty 2 year old and she enjoys spending every moment of her spare time with her. Ms. Camille also enjoys photography!
Ms. Veronica B. (Pelicans) Ms. Veronica is our Pelican classroom teacher (infants), she has been with us since August 2010! Ms. Veronica received her Bachelor's degree at Tennessee State University. She has been working in early childhood education since 2000. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate at Life University. She discovered her love for working with children when she was working with pediatric patients in her school's clinic. She has served as a mentor at Fair Oaks Elementary School, as a teacher at a private preschool and as an athletic trainer for youth league sports. Ms. Veronica is originally from Humboldt, Tennessee, and we are very lucky to have her as part of our Goddard School family.
Kulbir S. (Dolphin) Ms. Kulbir (affectionately known as Cubbie) has been with us since September 2011. She is our Pre-K 2 lead teacher. Ms. Cubbie graduated from Georgia State University with her Bachelor of Arts and is currently pursuing her Master's in early childhood education. She is certified to teach Pre-K through fifth grades and middle school math. She comes to us from another private school where she taught for two years. She is so excited to participate in all her students' learning at The Goddard School.
