The Goddard School can make a positive difference in your child's life. We offer a variety of programs which are convenient for parents who want the proven advantages of a high quality preschool education for their children. Our program is designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of your child from six weeks to twelve years of age.

Our warm, loving atmosphere features a year round extended day program from 7 AM. to 6 PM, Monday through Friday. The half-day program's fun filled exciting day ends at 1:00 PM.  Full-day and half-day students can be dropped off as early as 7:00 AM  or as late as 9:00 AM.  The half-day and full-day programs are available two, three, four or five days a week.

Our School's faculty consists of teachers trained in elementary education, early childhood education or child development who provide children with carefully planned educational and developmental programs that meet the needs of the whole child. Areas of growth and development are highlighted on our daily lesson plans, which our faculty brings to life in appropriate and attainable ways.

The Goddard School is dedicated to providing the best possible environment for the education and development of your child. Our state-of-the-art custom-designed buildings have been planned to provide a safe, healthy and stimulating environment. Our three separate playgrounds have been designed to challenge and delight your child at every age.

Teachers provide many opportunities for the children to explore. The areas of study that are covered at The Goddard School located in Simpsonville include the following: Sign Language, Computers, Foreign Language, Handwriting, Language Arts, Reading Readiness, Art History, Creative Art, Spanish, Manners, Math, Music Appreciation, Science, Social Studies, Dramatic Play, Nutrition and Physical Fitness (individual and group fitness activities including team sports and yoga).

While the children are presented with ample academic challenges, our teachers take care to balance the daily schedule with lots of fun, too. Children enjoy quiet time in reading nooks, writing centers or running with their friends on large, specifically designed playgrounds. A curriculum that has been designed to meet the specific needs of each child allows them to smoothly transition to their next scholastic level.

The Goddard School's campus consists of two buildings with a total of 12 classrooms, three playgrounds, a gymnasium, a theater stage, a rock climbing wall, a computer lab, and a covered patio for art and science projects. The Goddard School offers care for children six weeks to 12 years of age.  Each class has a scheduled time reserved for the gymnasium.  Children three years of age and up visit the computer lab at their scheduled times.   Children two years of age and up have a computer in their classroom which is used during Center Time.

The After-School program at The Goddard School provides a safe and stimulating environment for elementary school-age children during those challenging after-school hours. Since the regular school day presents ample academic challenges, our teachers will carefully balance children's hours with homework assistance, recreational activities, playtime with friends and healthy snacks. Qualified teachers plan age-appropriate activities to encourage socialization and problem-solving skills. The After-School program is also offered for extended hours on many school holidays, teacher in-service days and early dismissal days. For the 2012-13 school year The Goddard School will pick children up at Bethel Elementary, Oakview Elementary, Bell's Crossing Elementary, Monarch Elementary and Rudolph Gordon Elementary.

Summer at Goddard is the place for fun and exploration! This summer's calendar is packed with exciting opportunities. Energetic teachers plan summer days filled with enriching activities that nurture each child's self-confidence and provide a summer full of fun and learning.
