Welcome to The Goddard School® located in Schaumburg. We are on Woodfield Road, between Plum Grove Road and National State Parkway. I am proud to say this was the first Goddard School to open in Illinois. Come and visit us. We would love to meet you, introduce you to our wonderful faculty and show you our beautiful School that was designed to provide a safe, healthy and stimulating environment for your children.
My husband, John, and I opened this School because we believe in the Goddard philosophy and that we can make a positive difference in your child’s life. We have two adult children, and an extended family of two step children and three grandchildren. We were always very involved with our children and know the importance of the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of children from infants through six years of age.
We are open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. year round. We offer a variety of programs including half day and full day programs. Our curriculum includes cognitive skills, math, science, social science, motor skills, computers skills, creative art and self help skills. In addition, we also provide programs that introduce children to Spanish, Sign Language, Yoga, Fitness and Nutrition, Music Appreciation, World Cultures, KidScientific and Manners. Our teachers have degrees in either Early Childhood Development or Elementary Education.
We believe in a relationship of open and honest communication with our parents that foster an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect. We look forward to working with you and giving your children every advantage possible during these important early years of development.
