“After researching daycares, we chose to place our child in The Goddard School® based on their philosophy of learning, but it was also important that we felt comfortable with the environment and the people who would be caring for our child. As we toured The Goddard School® in Schaumburg, we saw great enthusiasm in the staff, teacher and children. That's when we realized this educational institution was also going to be fun, safe and nurturing; everything we were looking for. We felt confident our son was going to be cared for, but not to the depths we have witnessed. The staff and teachers have exceeded our expectations; from being greeted when we walk in the door, knowing us on a first name basis, having open communication and being able to visit and/or call any time. It has been a joy to see the developmental strides our 13 month old has made; he has great socialization skills, utilizes sign language to communicate, creates art, responds to rhythm of music and engages himself in books. Sue, Donna, Mary and all of the staff at the Schaumburg Goddard are a wonderful, fun loving group! The amount of love, time and patience provided to our son is immeasurable!”

"My husband and I just wanted to borrow this moment to tell you how we appreciate your warm care for our daughter, Hannah. As you know, our daughter still has to go through therapies and treatments as she grows up, but we believe that the most remarkable improvement for her mental situation was our decision to enroll her in your school. It was very hard for us for the first few months and also transitioning her to the next classroom, but you had been very kind and compassionate to help us get through that time.
We think Hannah is enjoying the school life very much now. She likes her teachers and friends there. We are so glad to see her happy at your school, and we are so grateful to you about it. We would like to thank you for letting her therapists come into the school to do what they need to with our daughter, they keep telling us that you and your staff (teachers) are so nice and helpful to engage our daughter in sessions with them. As you know Hannah was born premature, and we are truly thankful for your school joining the March Of Dimes. "I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of the Goddard staff for taking an important role in helping me to raise my daughter, by providing her with the educational tools and support that she needed in order for her to grow and develop. I also want to thank her teachers for the support and guidance they provided to me as a first time parent and for helping my daughter learn and grow in amazing ways. The teaching staff has always been extremely helpful to me by supporting my efforts to educate my daughter, teach her good behavior and social skills, as well as, working with me to discourage bad behavior. The front office staff (Donna and Mary) have been there to answer my questions regarding illnesses, behavior issues, schooling, and the many of other questions that a first time parent has as they navigate through these very important developmental stages with their children."
