Dear John,
Placing my four year old son in the Goddard School was the best decision ever. Prior to the Goddard School he spent three years in a well known National Chain Daycare center. Throughout that time; his level of care, learning and enthusiasm varied substantially due to the constant turnover of personnel. Since he has been at the Goddard School he has flourished in all areas due to the consistency of the program and the quality and affection of his teachers. He is actually eager to go to school and always has something new and fun that he has learned that day that he can’t wait to share with me. There is nothing better at the end of my workday to go and pick up my son and see him happily engaged in an activity; instead of him waiting by the door to leave as he was in his prior school.

When we began the search for a new school for our three children, there were a few important requirements. The school must have a loving and nurturing environment, a high regard for safety, and plenty of activities that would encourage our children to learn and grow. The Round Lake Goddard School met all of our expectations – and more! The hands-on approach of the Burnett’s and their staff, as well as their unwavering dedication and professionalism, was evident from day one. We are extremely pleased with every facet of our Goddard experience…and the smiles on our children’s faces tell us that we definitely made the right choice.

Are minds are at ease when our daughters are at The Goddard School. John and his staff take every effort to care for our children. It is like leaving our girls with family. We are also continuously amazed at how much our daughters learn, each and every day our oldest one comes home with a new sign, new word or song.

When the school first opened in February 2007, we were one of the very first families to enroll. My husband and I had our reservations moving our two-and-a-half year old daughter to a new school and entrusted our brand new baby boy to the care of strangers. However, looking back now, we laugh. The Goddard School of Round Lake has bloomed into a wonderful place for children to learn and grow in a safe, loving environment. The rooms are always bustling with new creative activities and special visitors, making learning fun. And I can't say enough about the curriculum! My daughter, who just started Kindergarten, is currently reading at a second grade level. She was more than prepared for the public school system - emotionally as well as academically, thanks to Goddard. My son, who is now three and a half, comes home with art projects and is talking endlessly about his day. Mr. John and all of his staff are truly top notch. The teachers are creative and do a wonderful job challenging the kids to think. They are always available for questions and are a great resource for parents. Our experience at this school has been more than wonderful; and because of that, Mr. John and his staff have become a part of our extended family.

We would like to thank you for the level of attention, care and love that you and your staff have shown to our three children. When our daughter first started in daycare, at another center, we really were not satisfied with the care that was given. Due to this, we were concerned about keeping her in a daycare program. However, we couldn’t be happier with our decision to move her to The Goddard School. We feel so comfortable and confident with you and the staff that we have since enrolled our two sons without hesitation. To us, The Goddard School has become our extended family as we know that everyone in the school has our children's best interest at heart and that they are loved at school as much as they are at home. As a parent who was hesitant to put our child in daycare, I have been so pleased with Goddard and everything they have to offer. Our son has some medical needs and the Goddard staff have gone out of their way to see that he gets what he needs. The individual attention, the structure of their fabulous program, and the attention to cleanliness is wonderful. I cannot say enough about John, Carrie and Sarah who reach out to parents and go above and beyond to make us feel comfortable when we drop off our children.
