I hoped to pursue the Peace Corps service in order to gain experience before entering graduate school. In preparation for my application to the Peace Corps I studied French by living abroad in Paris, France. In 2007, I was accepted into the Peace Corps and served as a rural health educator and agriculture volunteer in Senegal, West Africa. Now I am pursuing a Master’s Degree in Agriculture with an emphasis in Food Science and Nutrition, while working full-time for The Goddard School®.

Now, I am lucky enough to find myself here at The Goddard School. I have always loved kids and have had a passion for teaching. My teaching philosophy is that a child is like a sponge that wants to absorb anything and everything that you are willing to provide and that is why it is imperative to put the time and dedication into their education.
