Abigail -
Ms. Abby is a Lead Teacher in our Pre-School II/Pre-Kinder Program. She holds her degree in Elementary Education and has experience with the district. She has a light, loving personality and brings a smile with her daily. She works well with children to help them become successful in a classroom situation prior to moving to elementary education.
Alissa -
Ms. Alissa is a Lead Teacher in our One-Year-Old Program. She holds her degree in Elementary Education and has created a program focused on sensory, vocabulary, self help skills and sign language.
Andrea -
Ms. Andrea joins us in our Toddler Program as our Assistant Teacher. She holds her Bachelor's degree in Outdoor Education and comes prepared to assist in teaching two-year-old students upper case letters, numbers 1-20 and of course, self help skills.
Ann Marie -
Ms. Ree joins the administrative team to assist in helping with scheduling our faculty throughout the day. She comes to work wearing a smile and loves children of all ages. She partners well with all of our staff and floats from room to room throughout the afternoon lending a hand when needed.
Ashley -
Ashley joins us as the Lead Teacher in our three year old program working with our children who are three years of age through three and half years of age. She holds her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from University of Nevada and brings a great passion for teaching and children to her role.
Becca - Becca is our Lead Teacher in our Toddler class, children ages 2 years to 2.5 years. She is attending school at University of Nevada, Reno, where she is pursuing her degree in Elementary Education.
Brianna -
Ms. Bri is our Lead Teacher in our Infant Program. Bri comes to us with years of experience working with infants and toddlers, in addition to earning her degree in Human Development, Family Studies with a minor in Psychology. She brings great energy to our infant suite and her program is very impressive.
Catherine -
Ms. Catherine is our Spanish Teacher who delivers a great program to our students ages two through six years. She holds her degree in Elementary Education and Spanish and is great with our students. Her program is fun and creative and helps our students learn conversational Spanish.
Denise - Ms. Denise is our Co-Teacher in the Young Toddler class, working with children 2.5 years old to 3 years old. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and is working to become accredited in child development. She is very artistic, loves working with children and enjoys seeing them achieve their own personal milestones. She has worked with children ranging from six months to pre-kindergarten.
Emily S. - Emily is our assistant teacher in our pre-kindergarten program working with children ages 4 to 5 years helping to prepare them for elementary school. She comes to us with some experience in teaching and is in the process of completing her degree in elementary education.
Holli -
Ms. Holli is a Lead Teacher in our Toddler Program, where she partners with a co-lead and her aide to create a strong program focused on self-help skills and cooperation, which is needed with two-year-old students. Holli comes to us with her degree in Elementary Education and has a great energy for our toddlers.
Julie -
Ms. Julie is a Co-Teacher in our Toddler Program. She holds her degree in General Studies and has always desired to work with children. She works with our students at this level to prepare them for their preschool years.
Katie R. - Katie is an Assistant Teacher in the Infant room working with our children from six weeks of age through one year. She is attending school at Truckee Meadows Community College in Elementary Education.
Kelsey -
Kelsey is an Assistant Teacher for our Preschool Program where she joins her lead and assistant teacher to create an energetic program for our three-year-old students. She comes with many years of experience in preschool and brings a sweet, loving attitude to everything she does.
Lindsay -
Ms. Lindsay is our Aide for our Three- to Four-Year-Old Programs. She comes to us with a great love of children and a smile that makes her a perfect teammate. She works well with her teachers to create a program that is fun and creative.
Megan -
Ms. Megan is an Assistant Teacher in our Preschool program. She works with her co-teachers to help create a dynamic, interactive program for our three-year-old students, preparing them for elementary school. She attends school at TMCC and also assists in coaching the girls basketball team at Spanish Springs High School.
Nikki -
Ms. Nikki is our Lead Teacher in our Pre-Kinder Program. Nikki comes to us with her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a dual major in Special Education. She is dedicated to a program strong in language arts and writing skills and continues to develop math concepts with our students. She works closely with our Kindergarten teachers to properly prepare our students for elementary school.
Sierra -
Ms. Sierra is our Aide for our Toddler program. She assists the teachers in providing a caring, educational environment for our students and demonstrates great love for these students.
Sonja -
Ms. Sonja is a lead teacher in our One-Year Program. She comes to us from South Africa and holds her undergrad in Education with a focus on Mathematics and her Master's degree in Education Administration. She demonstrates a deep love of the little ones and has created a great program with a focus on sensory, vocabulary, self-help skills and sign language.
Stephanie - Ms. Stephanie is a Lead Teacher in our Kindergarten program. She recently graduated from the University of Nevada-Reno in May 2010 with a dual Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education. She works hard to create a program that incorporates curriculum that far exceeds the guidelines established by Washoe County.
Stephanie R. - Stephanie is our Lead Teacher in our one year old program, teaching our children that are ages 18 months to 2 years. She comes to us with years of experience in preschool teaching and is completing her degree in Early Childhood Education.
Sydney - Ms. Sydney is our Kitchen Manager who is responsible for our snack program, our scheduling and is part of the team that oversees Quality Assurance for our School. She is currently attending University of Nevada, Reno, where she is pursuing a major in Fine Arts.
Molly - Molly is our Educational Director and oversees the curriculum developed and delivered in our classrooms. She earned her dual degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from University of Nevada, and has her minor in Spanish. Molly has a great appreciation for the programs and specifications of how they are delivered and partners with our teachers to assist in a program that is providing quality care and academic achievement.
Denise and Mark Cross - Mark and Denise Cross are the owners of The Goddard School located at Somersett. They made their careers in the Insurance Industry where they worked in Executive Management leading various groups. Today, Denise works as the On-Site Owner of the school where she works with the Faculty and Director to create an environment where your children will love to learn . Mark continues to work in the Insurance Industry as an Officer of a local insurance company.
Together, they have four children, one of which was a Goddard Alumni. They look forward to getting to know all of the families enrolled and the surrounding community.
