Faculty Bios

Rancho Cordova, CA

Ms. Missy: Director - Missy is our Director at The Goddard School located in Rancho Cordova. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development from CSUS and an Associate’s degree in Social Sciences from SCC. Missy also has a children’s yoga teaching certification. Her background includes over 14 years of experience working as an early childhood educator, four of those years as a director. She has also conducted educational workshops for early childhood education teachers. “I’m thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful community at Goddard. Always feel free to come talk with me if you have any questions or concerns. My top priority is making your experience at Goddard as rewarding as possible,” adds Missy.

Miss Cindy: Assistant Director - Cindy is our Assistant Director. She graduated from Cal State University - Sacramento with a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts. Cindy has spent the last twenty years working with children in various ways. “My goal are to provide parents and children a safe and secure place to learn,” adds Cindy.

Miss Trisha: Infant Teacher - Trisha earned a Bachelor's degree in Child Development from Cal State University – Sacramento. Trisha loves being a part of the growth and development of children and looks forward to meeting you all. “I have worked with infants for the past six years and I feel very confident in making sure their daily needs are met; socially, emotionally and physically,” adds Trisha.

Ms. Camie Infant Teacher Camie has worked with infants for the past six years and really enjoys watching and participating in their first year of development and growth.  "It is extremely rewarding for me to be part of their lives during this exciting and important time. So much happens during their first year of their life and I take pride in being a part of their development.  I look forward to meeting your child and working with your family," adds Camie.

Ms. Adrienne Infant Teacher Ms. Adrienne is a teacher in the infant class and previously owned and worked in childcare centers for over 10 years.  She has a Master Teacher permit from the California Commission for Teacher Credentials and is close to completing her A.A. in Early Childhood Education. "I am very happy to have the opportunity to work with you and your child at Goddard.  I am committed to ensuring all of their needs are met every day," adds Ms. Adrienne.

Ms. Robin: First Steps Teacher - Robin has obtained 24 Early Childhood Education units and has over 34 years of experience working with young children. “I am blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of your child's educational experience,” adds Robin.

Ms. Jessica: First Steps Teacher - Jessica has a Master's degree as well as a certificate in Early Childhood Education. She has over fifteen years of experience with children and enjoys working with all age groups, but prefers infants and toddlers. “I really enjoy watching them discover and learn new things for the first time,” adds Jessica.

Ms. Char: Toddler Teacher - Charlotte or “Char” has worked in the early childhood education field for seventeen years and has earned 19 units toward her degree at American River College. In addition, her personal experience includes raising three children of her own and doting on her only grandchild. “It’s an honor to me to work with the children, families and faculty at The Goddard School. I am very thankful for the opportunity and look forward to seeing so many smiling faces each day,” adds Char.

Ms. Alicia: Young Toddler Teacher Ms. Alicia has several years experience working with young children, specifically Toddlers.  She is currently completing her degree in Early Childhood Education.  "I am learning so much about the unique teaching philosophies at Goddard and am so grateful in finding the perfect school where education and the children always comes first,"  adds Alicia.

Ms. Sally Toddler Teacher Sally earned a Bachelor's degree in Child Development from California State University - Sacramento and also has her California Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential. "I am so excited to be a part of the Goddard family. I have over fourteen years of experience working with children as young as newborns and I love being able to put my education and experience to use helping your child develop, grow and have a great time at Goddard," adds Sally.

Ms. Kyla: Older Toddler Teacher Ms. Kyla graduated from Cal State University Sacramento with a B.A. in Child Development.  She is currently enrolled in the Master's Child Development program at CSU-Sacramento.  "I am thrilled to be working with such great kids and i am proud to be a Rumbling Rhino!" adds Kyla.

Ms. Becca: Get Set Teacher Ms. Becca graduated from Cal State University Sacramento with a B.A. in Child Development.  Ms. Becca also volunteers at Sutter Memorial Hospital in the Child Life Unit working with children with terminal illness. "I am honored to be a part of your child's life!"  adds Ms. Becca.

Mrs. Tsogik: Get Set Teacher - Mrs. Tsogik has an Associate’s degree in Child Development and over twenty years of experience working with children. In addition, her personal experience includes raising three children of her own. “I love working with children because I feel that not only do they learn from me, but I also learn from them,” adds Mrs. Tsogik.

Ms. Joy: Get Set Teacher Ms. Joy has over 25 years experience teaching young children.  She has also completed Early Childhood Education units at Cosumnes River College.  "I have a passion for helping children develop and grow," adds Joy.

Ms. Melody: Preschool Teacher - Melody teaches the Preschool 1 classroom. She has been working with children for several years and is a student at ARC where she is taking courses in Early Childhood Education. In addition, her personal experience includes raising two young children of her own. “I love children and am so happy for the opportunity to teach the children in this community,” adds Melody.

Ms. Stacy: Preschool Teacher Ms. Stacy has has a B.A. in Child Development from Cal State University Sacramento.  She also has a Master Teacher Permit and has several years' experience working in a preschool setting.  "I absolutely love working with your children at The Goddard School and enjoy every single day," adds Stacy.

Ms. Janice: Pre-K Teacher Ms. Janice has worked with young children for several years, most recently at The Disney Children's Center.  She is completing her B.A. in Child Development.  "I am very excited to see each of your children every day and enjoy our time together as we prepare for the future," adds Janice.

Ms. Jen: Pre-K Teacher Ms. Jen has been in the early childhood education field for over 8 years and is completing her A.A. in Early Childhood Education. "I love working with children and helping them grow and learn as they prepare for the challenges of Kindergarten and beyond," adds Jen.

Ms. Howard: Kindergarten Teacher Ms. Howard received a Bachelor's degree in Education and Psychology from William Patterson University. "I'm so excited to be teaching the Kindergarten class at Goddard. I love teaching here at The Goddard School for many reasons. I have an amazing class with a variety of students. I can differentiate instruction to ensure that all of my students get exactly what they need. I also love the partnerships I have been able to create with the Goddard families. I have been lucky enough to know the majority of my students for almost two years. A big part of my personal philosophy of education is the fact that home school partnerships are critical to student learning and success. I believe that the Goddard School fosters this partnership, making this a great place for parents, students, and teachers!" adds Ms. Howard.

Ms. Debi: Assistant Teacher - Debi earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education from UC Davis and has been working with infants and toddlers for eight years. In addition, her personal experience includes raising two children of her own. “I am extremely excited about being a part of The Goddard School and for the opportunity to help children learn and grow,” adds Debi.

Ms. Cheri: Assistant Teacher Ms. Cheri has worked with young children for over 10 years. "I enjoy every day that I am working with children," adds Cheri.

Ms. Armine: Assistant Teacher Ms. Armine is completing her B.A. in Child Development at Cal State University Sacramento. "I enjoy helping children gain a better understanding about learning and the skills needed to help them be a better person and student in the future," adds Armine.

Ms. Julia: Assistant Teacher Ms. Julia  is completing her A.A. and has found that working with young children is extremely rewarding. "I truly enjoy helping the children from Infants to Kindergartners as they explore the special daily lessons at Goddard," adds Julia.
