Welcome to The Goddard School® located in Raleigh’s Brier Creek neighborhood.
We are Lisa and Frank Cariello, on-site owners of The Goddard School. As parents of three boys, we know first hand the importance of the choice of your child’s school.
The Goddard School can make a positive difference in your child's life. Our warm, loving atmosphere features a year-round extended day program from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, for infants through Kindergarten students.
What makes our program special are our wonderful teachers, wonderful curriculum, wonderful facility and fabulous families.
Our teachers are dedicated to your child. Every classroom is lead by a degreed teacher. Not only are they qualified educators, but they take a real interest in the children they teach. It is their personal goal that your child feels secure, loved and happy in their school environment.
Our proven curriculum, the FLEX Learning Program, has been accredited for excellence in learning by CITA/AdvancED. Our teachers assess their classroom using The Goddard School’s age appropriate Developmental Guidelines and create lesson plans that are filled with fun, playful learning experiences.
The Goddard School located in Raleigh also believes it is important to introduce your child to various enrichment activities. At no additional cost, students participate in Spanish, physical fitness and yoga, music and dance programs. Weekly lessons include Sign Language, manners, science, handwriting and computer skills. Throughout the year, we welcome a variety of visitors from the local fire department, area museums, pony rides and magicians to name a few.
Our families feel secure in our state of the art building. From the fingerprint entry security door to the finger guards on each of our doors, parents know that their child is safe throughout the day. Our spacious classrooms provide plenty of centers for your child to explore and learn. Three separate outdoor playground areas and a fourth play yard challenge and delight children of every age. Activities continue each day in our indoor gymnasium.
We encourage our families to be active participants in their child’s learning experience. Daily communication takes place between parents and teachers at drop off and pick-up times. Parents also receive a written daily report. Our School has an active Parent Teacher Organization. We also offer opportunities throughout the year for parents, grandparents and other special family members to visit the school. At the Fall Festival, Winter Dance or Graduation Night, you will be able to meet the other families that make up our Goddard Family.
