Faculty Bios

Plymouth, MN

Sally Hansen - Education Director
Sally has a Bachelor's degree in Child Psychology from Hamline University and then pursued a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis on Child Development. She has been a Director for over six years and has been with The Goddard School since we opened. She loves staying ahead of new research in Early Childhood Education because there is so much new information out there about how children learn.

Miss Angie - Assistant Director Angie has a Bachelor's degree in Health Education with a minor in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Riverfalls. She has a Wisconsin teaching license and experience as a lead preschool, kindergarten and school-age teacher at a youth center. She also worked with children as a substitute teacher in Hawaii. She has experience working in the infant, toddler and preschool rooms at The Goddard School located in Plymouth, Mn.

Lisa Amic - Co-Owner
Lisa graduated from St. Cloud State with a degree in Communications and then went on to earn an Elementary Education degree from the College of St. Catherine. She worked with children ages 0-5 for seven years prior to opening The Goddard School located in Plymouth, MN.

Pam Miller - Co-Owner
Pam has a Master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota and has taught primary school aged children for twenty-six years in the Osseo School District.

Miss Angie - Pre-K Teacher
Angie graduated from Augsburg College with an Elementary Education degree. She has worked with children since she was thirteen and at The Goddard School located in Plymouth, MN as an Assistant Teacher since 2007. 

Miss Michelle - Pre-K Teacher Michelle graduated from the University of North Dakota with a double major in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education.  She has a birth - grade 6 teaching license.  She has been working with children for 13 years as a babysitter, assistant Pre-K teacher, toddler teacher, nanny and substitute teacher.   

Miss Erica - Preschool Lead Teacher Erica graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Stout with a degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Art. She student taught with infants, kindergartners and first graders. She also spent four summers working at a summer camp. She was an Infant Lead Teacher at The Goddard School before joining the preschool room.

Miss Stephanie - Preschool Teacher Stephanie recently completed her Associate's degree. She worked at a childcare center through high school and has also worked as a nanny. She has been with The Goddard School located in Plymouth, MN since 2008 as an Assistant Teacher in our Toddler and Preschool rooms.

Miss Jessie - Toddler Teacher
Jessie is a graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in Child, Adult and Family Services. She has worked with children ages 16-33 months in a Montessori setting and at The Goddard School located in Plymouth, MN.

Miss Emily - Toddler Teacher Emily graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education. She has worked for the Recreation and Parks Department in Brooklyn Park for the last nine summers. 

Miss Amber - Infant Teacher
Amber graduated from Hennepin Technical College with an Associate's degree in Child Development. She has been a nanny for four years and student taught in a preschool.

Miss Gina - Infant Teacher
Gina has an A.S. in child development and is working towards her B.A. in early childhood at Southwest MN State University.  She was an infant assistant teacher at The Goddard School before becoming the lead teacher.

Miss Alyssa - Pre-K Assistant Teacher Alyssa graduated from St. Mary's University in Winona with a BA in Elementary Education.  She has experience in Kindergarten as a student teacher.  This past school year she has worked with students on their reading skillls.

Miss Bridget - Pre-K Assistant Teacher Bridget has an Associate's degree from Anoka Technical College. She has worked at the YMCA childcare program for the past six years.

Miss Crystal - Preschool Assistant Teacher Crystal graduated from Bethel University with a B.A. degree in Elementary Education with a Pre-Primary specialty.  She has worked with a diverse population of children ranging from infants to sixth grade. 

Miss Rachel - Preschool Assistant Teacher
Rachel has taken many classes at Hennepin Technical College in child development.  She is also pursuing a Bachelor's degree in special education.  She has been a nanny for children with special needs and has worked as an assistant teacher in The Goddard School Get-Set room. 

Miss Gosia - Preschool Assistant Teacher Gosia has an undergraduate degree in music and a Master's degree in Arts of Instruction from St. Mary's University in Winona. She has been a nanny for two sets of triplets.

Miss Barb - Preschool Assistant Teacher
Barb has taken many classes over the years in child education through school districts and Minnesota Health Association. She has worked as an EBD assistant in the Osseo schools and in a home-based childcare setting.

Miss Katy - Toddler Assistant Teacher
Katy has a Bachelor's degree from St. Thomas in English. She has worked with children in Early Childhood in rural northern Minnesota, as well as in the Child Development Center at St. Thomas.

Miss Catherine - Toddler Assistant Teacher Catherine has taken classes in Child Development and Family Science at North Dakota State University and Elementary Education Classes at Valley City State University. She has worked at a preschool/childcare center for two years and has been involved in many sports activities with children.

Miss Carmen - Infant Assistant Teacher
Carmen worked for the Wayzata Schools for twenty years before retiring. She has interacted with children and families for many years in the elementary schools. She also taught Sunday School for many years.

Miss Jeanne - Infant Assistant Teacher Jeanne went to Normandale Community College to receive a Nursing degree. She has been a licensed daycare provider for seventeen years in the Plymouth / Wayzata area.

Miss Savannah - Infant Assistant Teacher Savannah is  currently pursuing an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education at Rasmussen College.  She has a little boy of her own and has always enjoyed caring for and teaching children.

Miss DeDe - Infant Room Aide
DeDe went to college and received a diploma and teaching certificate. She has worked in centers and churches with children for many years.

Miss Tiffany - Toddler Aide Tiffany is pursuring an education in child development.  She has always wanted a career where she can work with children to help them learn and grow.
